Ethan's pov

'Ugh! great another day of selling cakes and cleaning after messes. *Sigh* why can't I just eat the humans coming in here!? Oh wait I know, so we don't get killed and blend in to society.'
I heard a crash, as a little kid broke a plate on 'accident' and said oops while smiling.

I grabbed a broom and dust pan from the storage closet and cleaned up the mess hearing some kids saying that I'm an old man, cause I have gray hair, it's silver god damnit!
I sighed in frustration and threw away the broken pieces of the plate in the trash. I saw my other two 'Ghoul' friends/sons running around the place taking orders, receiving change, giving out the orders.
Ugh! It's like this everyday of our lives. Work work work, busy busy busy It's driving me crazy that I want to crack my skull in half!
I was snapped out of thought as I saw Brice, one of my friends/son almost drop a cup and received giggles and laughs at the kids. He sighed and brought it over to Adam or Sky to clean. Brice grabbed a tray of cakes and coffee in one hand and on the other and took them to their customers. Sky was washing and drying dishes as fast as he can so he didn't have to do more and it almost made me laugh. I heard another crash and I groaned again.

'Damn, I really want to eat these kids right now..."

*Time skip cause I'm lazy :p*

The shop closed down and we all collapsed on the ground/chairs. Brice lifted himself up off of the ground and rubbed his shoulders.

"Why is it always soo busy in this place, Ethan?" He whined. Sky joined in to.

"Yeah! I literally worked off ma fingers! I CAN'T FEEL EM!" He yelled. I sighed in frustration at there rambles. Why did I ever think that a cafe was a good idea...

"Guys relax. Next week we have it off and your pay checks come in. So hang in there you whiny babies." They sighed in relief.

"Thank God. My legs can't take anymore running around the place, and I can finally pay my rent!" I heard Brice say. My eyes lite up and I smirked at the idea I had. Sky looked at me confused.

"What's with that smirk Ethan??"

"Do you guys want to go out and eat???" I said to them. They smiled wide.

"OH HELLZ YA! I haven't ate all day and those Humans made me really hungry." Brice said as his eyes went into ghoul mode. Sky looked at me with one of his eyes in ghoul mode and the other normal. Didn't I mention Me and Brice were the only full ghouls while Sky was a half?? No? Well it's a long story so I won't go into it.

We all went up stairs and got into our 'costumes' My black hoodie and skull mask, Brice's Halloween style of clothing like the black and yellowish orange stuff/pumpkin mask, and Sky's Yellow medieval clothing with a yellow scarf covering his mouth. We all took the back way which lead us into an alleyway so we didn't have to go into the front and let people see us.

Sky got out his kagune, which were giant webbed wings, and flew up to the building next to us. He looked down at us and smirked.

"Catch up if you can slow pokes!" sky yelled as he flew away. Brice got out his, which were springy, and looked like pumpkin vines, and used them to bounce him up. He smiled psycho like as he chased after Sky.

"OH I WILL GET YOU BUTTERFLY!! HAHA!" He laughed as he did back flips and front flips off of buildings here and there. I rolled my eyes at them and got out mine, which were giant hand-like wings that connected to my back and raised up like them, and grabbed the ledges of the building not even caring if I was in last place. I watched as the two ran after each other like monkeys after a banana to eat or dogs going after a doggie treat. My kagunes reached over to the next building carrying me like an Egyptian king or emperor. Sky and Brice looked back at me smiling.

"Hey come on Ethan! Stop being a slow poke and run after us!" sky yelled at me.

"YEAH YOUR HIGHNESS! COME ON! KINGS ARE NEVER LAST!" Brice joined in too. I only smiled at them and laughed.

"Alright I'll hurry up! Just wait for a sec-" I stopped in mid sentence as I smelled something in the air. It smelled so delicious! I let my kagune disappear for a while and I ran the opposite direction that Sky and Brice were at.

They yelled for me, but I didn't care! I needed to eat whatever this was! It smelled so good! I ran down an alleyway taking sharp turns here and there the smell getting nearer and nearer. My mouth was watering and my senses were going crazy! I finally made it to the smell, eyes showing hunger in them and the need, but it all vanished as I saw what the smell was actually.

"well well well. If it isn't one of the top three powerful ghouls in ward 10. Hello Black Taker.." Shit it was Deadlox and Ross, Two of the CCG Investigators. Ross had his narwhale and chicken pin on his coat and his glasses on his head. Deadlox was leaning on to the wall his red eyes glaring holes at me in the moon light, holding out a piece of A Ukaku's arm.

"Well Deadlox what should we do? I mean we can take him back to headquarters and do experiments on him, or we can kill him." Ross said to Deadlox. I heard Sky and Brice run over to where I was and I saw Deadlox smile.

"Well. The rest are coming. So why don't we kill all three of you. All of you ghouls shouldn't have been created in the first place! Well send all of you to hell!" Deadlox yelled as he got out his weapon, which is a two sided lance and got into battle stance. Sky and Brice showed up and saw Deadlox's angry eyes.

"DAMNIT!! THE ONLY TIME I WANTED FOOD AND YOU MADE US RUN INTO THEM E- 5M!?!" Brice yelled at me, being careful not to give out my real name. Sky got into battle stance as well and stared at Deadlox.

"Let's just get this over with. We don't have time for this Solace." Sky said. Brice groaned at Sky's reply. I got out my kagune and stared at Deadlox and Ross.

"Shall we start this battle my good friend??"

"You are no friend to me 'Ghoul', but yes.... Lets begin..."
