Thirty Six
She woke up to shapes being traced along her skin. She whined softly at being drawn to consciousness, moving further into the body that held her that she already knew was Jungkook.
"The boys said we all need to speak, together." He whispered softly. "But they said to take as much time as we need to get to them."
She grinned softly, nodding at this. "Do you know what that means?" It had been days since Jin had given the all clear to Ha-Na and Jungkook for being healed, so Ha-Na had learnt very quickly how to wind up Jungkook. So her eyes drifted to his lips, gently biting on her own lower lip and Jungkook's grip tightened on her.
"That sounds like a plan." He smirked and quickly moved so he was hovering over her. He leant down and connected their lips softly yet hungrily. Ha-Na returned the kiss, her hands delicately travelling down his upper-body and her fingertips brushing over every single scar on his skin, brushing over his toned muscles and Jungkook made the kiss more passionate the further down she got.
That was until she smiled into the kiss and danced her fingertips back up his torso. He glared when he pulled away.
"Tease."
"I know but the boys want to talk to us, we can't keep them waiting too long." She pecked his lips before easily sliding from underneath him and heading out the bedroom.
"But Ha-Na~" he whined gently. "Five more minutes, please?"
"No, we have to go speak to them. C'mon." She laughed softly and walked down the hall to the 'war room' as Taehyung's Soulmate liked to call it. She knocked and entered.
"Where's Jungkook?"
"Whining." Ha-Na laughed and the boys grinned.
Jungkook walked in a few minutes later with a pout causing a few sniggers to be shared around the table.
"Well, we best get talking. We have a lot to discuss and very little time to do so." Namjoon sighed. "Ha-Na, do you remember what happened on that day when you fought alongside the girls?"
She shook her head, sitting down next to Jungkook. "I don't remember much except leaving the house by myself and coming back with the girls."
"Just as we thought."
"Why?" Jungkook furrowed his brows. "What are you trying to suggest?"
"We witnessed something in the safe room when the attack occurred." Jimin's soulmate whispered, gulping softly. "We saw her eyes go black, and she lashed out at us. She was ready to fight..."
"What's that got to do with the defeat of that guy?" Jungkook ran a hand through his hair, already guessing what their answer was going to be.
"Ha-Na, have you ever had times when you've been that angry or upset that you've lashed out?" Seokjin's soulmate asked, looking at Ha-Na with soft eyes.
"I used to when I was a child, I used to get bullied a lot and one day I snapped. Next minute the boys that had thrown me to the floor were unconscious and I had blood on my knuckles." She felt Jungkook clasp her hand under the table and he decided that he would stay with her, even if what the boys were hinting at was true. But he would protect her so she wouldn't have to turn into the monster he so freely let reign over him.
"Right... We thought we'd have a meeting to discuss it. Ha-Na you popped the man's eyeball out with a knife, no one had taught or told you how to do that. You're very similar to Jungkook in that regard, when he came to us we didn't teach him half the techniques he knows now. It came to him naturally. Both of your eyes turn black when you're ready to kill..." Namjoon whispered softly and his soulmate who sat beside Ha-Na sighed even softer.
"Ha-Na, we think you have something like the Tokki residing in you. A complete alter-self who just takes control when your emotions are peaked. But we're so confused on how you managed to keep it under control-"
"Because I didn't have anyone to live for. My parents don't care, I'm an only child, I never really got along with other people-" Jungkook winced when he heard her voice crack. "I didn't have a reason to continue fighting when things happened. When Jungkook and I first... collided so to say, something in that moment told me to fight. Told me to get up and continue going. Now I have something to fight for, all of you, so keeping a leash on it is so much harder and-" Jungkook leant across and wiped the tears falling down her cheeks and he gritted his teeth. He didn't realise that his own alter ego would be triggered by her crying.
She let out a yelp when his grip tightened on her hand. "Y-Yah! Jungkook you're hurting me-"
"Jungkook!" Namjoon snapped, trying to get the boy to come back to his senses. Jungkook simply lifted up something nearby and threw it at Namjoon, causing him to grown.
"We thought they'd be powerful together-" Jimin whispered, eyes widening. "Everyone get out the room now, she's slipping!"
"Don't hurt them." She whispered, squeezing her eyes shut and tearing her hand from her grip. "Don't hurt them!" Her eyes opened and they were a pure black. "Don't you dare hurt them Tokki. Soulmate or not, I'll have to fight you until my last breath if you harm anybody else in this room."
"Wait, her eyes-" Hoseok's soulmate stopped, eyes wide as she stared at Ha-Na's.
"You need to get out!" Hoseok yelled.
"She's fighting it. One eye is black and the other is clear as day. There's no murderous intent there!" She neared Ha-Na and Jungkook turned away from Ha-Na and went to roundhouse kick Hoseok's soulmate out the way.
"Get away from Ha-Na!" He roared and Ha-Na jumped in front of Hoseok's soulmate, a loud yelp leaving her as his kick connected with her, sending her sprawling across the floor. Hoseok's soulmate stood in shock until Hoseon guided her away.
"Restrain him-"
"Shit Ha-Na!" Jungkook's voice returned to its softer tone as he dropped to his knees and he went to help her. She moved away from him, shaking like a leaf as both eyes returned to the chocolate brown they were.
"Leave me alone." She whimpered. "Don't come near me."
"Ha-Na..." Jungkook whispered, reaching out to cup her cheek.
"No, don't!" She flinched away. "Don't come near me!"
Jungkook stood up, defeated, and quickly pushed past everyone in the doorway, running downstairs and out the front door.
