When Doves Soar

After accepting the cat's aka Destiny Slave's aka Elio's, a name they were provided through another round of introductions, invitation, what happened next... was certainly lackluster to put into words. Not suddenly whisked away to a criminal band and get inducted into crime. Not suddenly led to any Harmony or Order faction to understand the powers that Gopher Wood haphazardly taught them, or in a kinder and less unbiased way to put it, ommitted some important teachings. Not suddenly thrust into a stage with adoring fans to show off skills certainly as a way to make a debut.

Lackluster, as in that the siblings, along with the dove and the cat just got out of the ship like how it was intended to a greater unknown without getting caught so far.

"So you are just going to stick around with us?" Sunday whispered to the cat that he held up on his arms that it jumped into prior as they wandered around for lodgings for a safe chat outside of prying ears. Robin's telepathy ensured that the conversation can be heard if their voices could not, "I thought someone would have picked you up by now."

"Oh no, the others don't even know that I'm here right now. They are currently on their own missions elsewhere when I sensed the changing destiny and charted my way to you. As fate would have it, the ship you stowed away had been making trips through various planets for me to hitch and get the timing just right. By now, the missions would be completed and they would find out I'm missing. They will eventually come pick me up. Until then, I will be in your company."

By then, the cat jumped out of Sunday's arms to walk alongside them whether the siblings like it or not. It really felt they were being putty in its claws, but better a cat than a certain bird. At least until they were proven wrong and this time they had their guards up for that.

In any case, they would have to find lodgings and make something click by the end of the week, a debut like no other. A lot of people would say it was stupid, as they found an inn, that they ran away with their very real names, without any disguise to show that they are indeed Halovians when being identified for their stay and lie very well to the innkeeper's face about starting the new chapter of their lives with their parents' very real permission because they certainly were underaged teenagers who definitely did not run away and just wanted to make something out of themselves as part of dreaming too big with the very legal money and very legal reccomendations to kickstart a career that would make their parents proud with the well wishes for them to continue on knowing that many people would rather the siblings keep on going than be stiffled back home should they... definitely be successful.

Elio told them straight to their faces as such when the siblings had unpacked whatever meager belongings that they have taken from home to kickstart before their weekly deadline that would force them back home with the absolute truth about being runaways should they fail and undoubtedly receive punishment from Gopher Wood.

"You could have gone for fake names, you could have disguised yourselves. And yet you didn't, even after running away from home. Why didn't you?" Elio asked, after pointing out the stupidity he had noticed from the siblings.

"... Wouldn't you know the answers to that?" Sunday asked instead, wanting to get a feel about how much the cat knows but a swishing tail and simply making itself cozy on the bed proved that such an endeavour is akin to pulling teeth.

"The Family will know that we have ran away regardless whether we choose to disguise oursevles or not and considering our... disposition especially for Mr. Gopher Wood, when there's always a chance that even in our disguised forms when making an idol debut that we would be found out and caught. So it doesn't matter whether we disguise ourselves or not. So why not just go all out as ourselves?" Robin decided to answer Elio's questions but narrowing eyes from the cat showed that it knew there was more to it than what was said but both siblings felt no need to bring up the truly petty reason that they chose this route. Or their deepest desire. Whether the cat was already aware of it or not.

First of all, there is absolutely nothing wrong about continuous teenage rebellion and knowing should they succeed entrancing the masses with their debut, as a producer-idol pair that had so much offer and potential that it would be impossible for the Family especially Gopher Wood to easily pull them out of the scene and let him stew on the fact that he cannot even touch them and let them live however they like if he didn't want anyone thinking something is amiss. When they had lost all hope and trust on their foster father, aware only of the manipulation and the potential separation, bitterness and pettiness were only left to return what was given might make it seem they make questionable decisions under the heat of near-sighted emotions and yet something to strive to do anyway, simply because it was a choice they would do all over again even after much discussion up until the date of their escape.

Of their deepest desire, about the plans involving them, the Stellaron and a coming age... despite the underlying darkness Penacony brewed in raising the siblings, Sunday and Robin were grateful to the Family and the planet itself for taking care of them. To everyone else residing, and no matter what nefarious plans, they wanted Gopher Wood to be aware of where they were and what they were doing on surface level, seemingly easy to sway and convince on a 'Family' thing. So that when the time comes, if he ever reaches out... if they ever get back home...

The siblings meant every word they had said to Elio about the potential to defeat any disasters from Penacony's Stellaron. Not now, of course. When there's so much they don't know. When they had to focus on themselves in their powerlessness, to focus on the resources and unbiased knowledge they wouldn't otherwise get in the confines of the Oak family to just even understand and have a start on how to deal with Penacony's darkness. When they cannot jump straight into it and get even worse than square one.

That would never be said in the open, only known to both siblings and even when Elio seemed dissastisfied with the answer outright said, the topic had been dropped, and yet still had knowing eyes as if their true feelings were bare open to be seen anyway.

"What are you going to do here?" Sunday asked Elio, being their turn to question the interloper's presence out of their own brand of curiosity. Even though the actual leader of the Stellaron Hunter never seems to get their own hands dirty, the presence and the reputation that the Stellaron Hunters hold seem to only promise some brewing... event out of the blue waiting to happen. Whether that's biased thinking or not, he did not want to leave anything unattended and wanted to account for everything that could potentially happen to the very deadline that they make something click. Sweet success could be entirely dependant on that.

"Taking a nap... nya~" Elio actually meowed, true to its cat species, and went on with light snores, being deliberately unresponsive to the siblings. Sunday sighed. Robin giggled.

"Don't worry brother, maybe this changes nothing for what we have to do. So... a guerilla Live, huh?" Robin asked, starting up the conversation of plans that they would already have once finding their temporary lodgings without a certain cat's intervention that had given them a lot to think about future wise.

After Sunday looked warily at the sleeping cat, he turned back to Robin and held up a tablet, opening up the notes and pictures for the blueprint heist-like plan for good old guerilla. Even when it would be better for Robin to debut through professional means from the very start, they do not have the time for such slow-going methods and have to resort to a few tricks for a speedier debut. Whether Sunday liked it or not, passion and talent can only go so far in an unfair waking universe to realize any kind of dreams, especially with the horrors in the entertainment scene Sunday researched enough to understand what to work against.

Robin looked through the neatly written notes and referenced photos Sunday showed her, reminiscent of her childhood whenever they would play more convoluted games or wanted to draw up even more dreams they can achieve in futures like now. In the back of her mind, such meticulousness and a tinge of obsession even with his own personal journal they sometimes share whenever they want to answer childish questions together made Robin felt like they were among the reasons Sunday was singled out to take up some teachings within the Order. To what 'twins of Order' meant...

Robin shook her head a little, more focused on the present and assuring herself that they were all here before any teachings or cursed duties could sink any further within them and now chalked up the plan in her head.

The planet they landed up on was of no coincidence, open to many space travellers and had decent tourism well enough that concert tours especially for the stars of Epsilon took stage during certain seasons. That meant Epsilon bigshots were out and about, waiting to be shown off Robin's amazing talents by Sunday truly.

The key, of course, was to take it by storm, to truly captivate everyone to say yes to them even when common sense or decent courtesy were to say no. Luckily, the very concert they would forcefully make an opening for holds an idol where common sense and decent courtesy could be thrown away...

All in the name of Elation.

Cue the next few hours in the wee of the night when the first outdoor concerts were held a ways away from inn, advertised long before the siblings landed to this planet. Many big-shot stars would be playing in this dazzling festival of popstars, that some interstellar travellers like Sunday and Robin weren't odd out of everyone.

Many fans in particular were waiting for the Ast Rickley, despite and somewhat for being a well-known Elation pathstrider, hitting in top charts with Never Gonna Give You Up that became the Masked Fool's motto and creed and thus giving way to rumours about an Elation Emanator that were among the leaders of that Aeon forsaken tavern. Despite people rightfully wary to the chaotic Elation with a capital E, it would not stop the elating feeling that listeners of a great song feel and resonate, without the capital letter e which makes all the difference. Remember, a capital letter makes all the difference, such as one is Elated and simply elated with the former something to be wary of and the latter to rejoice on.

At the very least, Sunday and Robin who still stride in the goodness of Harmony would not want to be Elated. And at least the fans, a majority of them, just want to be elated so they do not have to follow the path strided by Ast Rickley. They just have to go chirping like the Harmony birds they are.

And they also chose that of all concerts with all the popstars showing up in this festival, they would choose to crash the Ast Rickley's concert, being the Harmonious opening to the Elating and ocassionally positive trolling hit song just because the Harmony and Elation clash... poorly. Despite the Harmony's underbelly that the siblings were aware of, the Harmony drilled biased prejudice against the Elation specifically the Masked Fools when unprecedented chaos without a care to consequences for the sake of their selfish happiness will never mesh well with the Halovians' idea of everyone hand-in-hand for a more selfless happiness.

Even with such biases, Ast Rickley's concert was the perfect one to crash because chaos was expected in Elation and the standard guerilla chaos would easily be dismissed to the Elation's chaos, so they can bring their unexpected surprise without anyone stopping them before its too late. The fan count to see this unexpected surprise was also not bad either.

So people could only anticipate the stage with awed eyes when moving toys moved around the stage, even the producer, director and guards who had been more used to unexpected surprise directeed by Ast Rickley to elevate his performances on a whim. The only one who could possibly know that this unexpected surprise was not of the Elation would be Ast Rickley himself, but used to the Masked Fools crashing in and loving surprises himself, he would obviously not stop what would go on.

That was what truly made the setup perfect, when the bunny and bear went to the sides of the stage, bowing politely to the audience and looking around the stage while at center laid a cherubic doll that started floating, splitting up into more ethereal cherubs that heralded...

People gasped at the angelic winged creature that descended with the cherubs, as feathers flew to the audience just shading their sight somewhat to only flashes of an ethereal. They cannot even get a good glimpse at the mysterious figure gracefully landing on the stage. Even so, they were quick to be identified as female, from the long curly purple hair fluterring below a flowery halo, a gorgeous white-purplish dress to accentuate the angelic features and the voice...

"Birds are born with no shackles. Then, what fetters my fate?"

The audience felt... soothed the moment she sang, completely different from the performances even interrupted by Rickley's compatriots. This, they could tell immediately, was not the Elation that usually makes itself known in performances that they have long since expected, not a soothing, calm and peaceful tune that reminds them of a lullaby, of family, of wonders, possibility and hope in a purer sense they could ever hope for that Never Gonna Give You Up or any other Elating song did not possess.

They belatedly notice, after breaking out the trance the song had sucked them into, the voice that pulled them in, that this singer was different from Rickley's ilk right away. Hearing the lyrics that no one recognized, some tried to find a name to the song and came short. Seeing the final nail to the coffin signifying a different Path taking over stage was a feathery masquerade mask adorning the singer's face. While the Masked Fools are indeed defined by the masks they wear, their signature masks would be those that covered up their whole face, such as theater masks, clown masks and so on. Even if it was just a mask that covered the eyes alone, nothing of the face was shown, painted over and eyes unseen much that the face shown is less of one and more, cue (no) surprise, a mask. Of course, that doesn't mean the Masked Fools don't show their faces to the public and still get recognized by the public with how loud their chaotic antics can be but when the Fools decide to be Masked, they are masked.

A masquerade mask on this lone singer is thus different, still showing a recognizable face and soul searching bluish eyes and yet a face all the same. Even as she sang, everyone now knew this was no longer an antic of the Elation and were humorously unprepared, for they were striding somewhere entirely different at this stage.

And yet, even knowing this fact, the song lured in the audience, the producers, directors, guards and people on standby just rooted in shock, unfamiliar nostalgia and a wish for the song to never end, even on a final note. Still, the fact stands and that even with such a lure, nothing is infalliable that only one person could withstand the natural magic taking toll and living up the name of what they stride for to make a scene on a scene.

"How Elating!"

Even in song, another jumped on stage to what the audience recognized more in Elation fueled stages and what they all immediately recognized as Ast Rickley despite the Mask that he adorned signifying jumping into this first and foremost as a Fool rather than the pop sensation they were more familiar with. While the angelic singer didn't stop singing, her voice was drowned out by the loudspeakers coming back to blast what the audience was really looking forward to in the first place, Never Gonna Give You Up.

"Let's reward that with some of my rickrolling moves!"

It was enough for the angelic singer to finally take a halt, with the last of the melody falling away as she tried to make a stage exit left and yet was stopped promptly from Ast Rickley's shimmy and a sudden assault to the senses, an Ultimate attack Rickley was infamous for that could harm both enemies and teammates. As beloved the song is, even anyone could groan in pain with their head at hand and eyes closed at being sent the same song for the nth time in what was infamously known as rickroll.

People either were indifferent or cringed in annoyance at rickroll but in Astley's Ultimate, he has a way to make it so much the latter like the Fool he was and thus the assault in the senses with even more unnecessary shimmies, to an unexpected battle as the Fool stepped towards the singer, raising his hand up to a Skill in further subduing, eventual unmasking and simply ending this farce even when prolonging would be a Fool's creed. But not giving his all would be a disservice to the intruder giving them a good time, and without doing his best, he might not have witnessed the desparate tricks up the sleeve to get out of this predicament.

Almost boringly and predictably, he was right but by an unknown accomplice as both bunny and bear jumped towards Rickley, pushing him away from the singer and even before he could push off the stuffed toys, the distraction was enough for... strings, a faint weaving gold, to bound his arms like a puppet. He only knew of one Fool who had such power, and yet the person who made an appearance to shield the singer was no such Fool, of same ilk as the singer with a feathery masquerade mask that did not hide his blazing golden eyes directed at Rickley in fierce protection over his sibling. With a free hand, he was holding a gold baton directed at not only Rickley but at the audience as a whole with an Ultimate statement:

"Is it already time for the lullaby?"

Magical notes came out over the baton as the dolls danced around on-and-off the stage slowly to match the lullaby's tune, a melody similar to the one sang with lyrics except the feeling of melancholy and also being up in the clouds.

It was an unusual combination of power but even so for someone with his experience under his belt, it should have been something that he could shaken off, what could not have stopped him from unmasking those two masked birds but yet his eyes drooped, and yet he slumped on stage in weakness.

"May you be blessed with sweet dreams."

Even when that was said by the intruder who took the singer off stage while the toys surround the duo for any pursuers, the moment the notes faded was the moment they all came back to their senses, as a Ultimate that enacted drowsiness more than the promised slumber.

'Not at peak form. Not powerful enough,' Rickley noted, but it was still enough for them to escape, enough to win. At the same time, with the audience muttering and phones abound, he had felt such a stunt meant it was not the last time he saw the duo.

A singer and her knight in shining armour, or someone who helped orchestrate it all while protecting the singer like... a producer.

***

The thing was Rickley would be proven right, from the fact that there had been a day-to-day battle of guerilla and media warfare and Sunday, with his toy assistants gladly taking up the challenge and unnoticed, let alone underestimated by big-shot producers and directors who would be scratching their heads at the influx of comments on their stars' social media page about promoting the unprecedented openings that they all have during the past few days.

The mystery and allure about what people knew of Robin, from the melodious unheard original song, special effects out of the blue and a... feathery angelic fanservice, the number of fans in an already starting fandom for Robin was already increasing expotentially in numbers, wondering who the mysterious singer was and whether it was the birth of a rising star. Numerous bigshots were already in the fray, discreetly wanting to figure out about the untapped potential coming their way, and by now, Sunday knew it was time to show themselves.

For real, without the angelic get-up, mask and surprises. For the ultimate surprise and solidify themselves to the entertainment world. The only suitable ending they could get out of this started now, among the choices from creating their own grand stage to accepting Rickley's star battle after the superstar were intrigued by what he refered to them as 'a different tastes of Elating that the even Mourning Actors would give'. To them, that was not a compliment. They refused to understand whatever that meant.

So of course they were going to choose the grand stage plan with mysterious invites ready to be sent for a planned event going underway with just a touch of a button on his phone and yet, presently it seems the latter option with Ast Rickley's star battle reared its head and something that was ultimately decided upon, in the path to the stars.

As if they actually had a choice in such a thing because, will you call it, a fateful intervention swooped in for Ast Rickley himself to find the siblings' hiding place. After the very first stage, Sunday and Robin committed themselves to jumping through inns and various disguises that made stardom something to get used to and yet worthwhile. Until the very last, no one had an inkling about Sunday and Robin's whereabouts, until Ast Rickley made himself known right now with a certain cat making itself known right next to him.

It was a wonder whether that cat had anything better to do than ruining two runaway teenagers' dreams and grand plans with an such an unexpected variable because for the leader of a mysterious crime organization according to the masses, there certainly would be more important corporations and influential people needed to be messed around with and could further whatever evil goals the cat had in mind than this fickle and petty shennanigan that might happen about now.

Or maybe it was a cat's nature for the fickle and petty but it didn't matter when it was time to face those reprecussions. Should Sunday and Robin have been more careful? The answer was yes, but Robin was enjoying herself and she was the one to quell Sunday's paranoia because it reminded her a bit too much about the ideas of Order that Mr. Gopher Wood would want to drill into their heads and in a way, she rather they succumb to this unexpectedness than carry any baggage that Mr. Gopher Wood would have left them.

Still, they were not out of the woods because even if two children were found, what exactly were the odds that they would be recognized as the singer-producer duo that had been wrecking mayhem with guerilla lives that evoked mystery and chaos even though somehow that was enough for the Ast Rickley to be interested to send them a challenge? Well, when putting the even though statement to head, maybe Ast Rickley would recognize them. But then again, by outsider perspective, they were surely two normal teenagers on a holiday exploring a planet...

"So are these really them? Now that I have gotten a closer look, Halovians... Harmony's followers? Enacting their own brand of chaos, right in front of an Elation pathstrider? Is that a new way to stick the middle finger to Aha? Looks like there really are still many surprising things in the universe," Rickley laughed.

Welp, when Rickley said it like that, the jig was up. Guess things shouldn't have counted itself smooth sailing when a wanted criminal leader made themselves known to the siblings. Now a wayward Elation hit sensation was squaring the siblings off. Of course, Sunday stood in front of Robin in protection although both pairs of eyes held plenty wariness for this turn of events.

And they were so close, to just a social post away before the biggest legit debut of their lives. Now they had to contend what the cat really wanted to do in this planet. It should be on-record despite no montage or descriptive storytelling to view the siblings' actions the past few days, that other than the guerilla live and social media warfare, neither Sunday nor Robin were idle in front of the pressing matters that they have brought upon themselves along their journey.

Among pressing matters was obviously Elio and why the cat would be here. Did the cat really want to recruit them for some weird reason about a deviating script because of a divergence in fate? Even so, why was it done this way, by revealing and accompanying especially by itself when he had the Hunters at his beck and call? Considering what they know about the Stellaron Hunters, firstly there was research into any conspiracies or mysteries whether there's a Stellaron on this planet and considering their terrible experience with it, it was a priority they must contend to.

The fact that they found out the planet was not in danger, and there was no other Hunter in sight and the cat basically didn't do anything like it wasn't there when Sunday and Robin were out for shenannigans was downright concerning that when Elio finally revealed its paws that Robin spoke up and demanded, "Why?"

The cat only gave an enigmatic smile, while Rickley somehow being the partner of crime whether he had an idea of what he brought upon them all didn't like being ignored.

"Hey, hey, what are you ignoring me for? First, you straight up refused my star battle and now this. It's not odd that a Harmony pathstrider would not get along with someone of the Elation but won't you at least hear me out?"

"When someone says no, they mean no. Can't you take a hint?" Sunday asked crossly, fed up with the obstacles in his way and that the pushiness was reminding him of the few years that Robin came back home from her holidays at Paperfold University and the mansion received love letters to Robin that Sunday intercepted and burned them into ash, making sure to consult Robin that had rejected their advances and was especially annoyed when such people really couldn't just take a hint.

"At this point, we might as well hear them out, brother," Robin said, a resigned note to her tone, "All of us can't be stubborn forever and it's not like we can exactly run..."

Can't they? Even though Rickley and Elio were cornering them. It wasn't as if they were powerless to at least create a diversion and make a getaway...

"It's actually easy to know what you are thinking, that neither mind reader nor anyone divining the future could tell me your next move," Rickley chuckled, when in one laughter, he was standing in front of them and the next, he was standing behind, armlocking Robin by the neck much to Sunday's horror, "Has the Harmony not defaulted to the serene and happy expressions you typically wear especially in the spirit of togetherness, or is it because in the end, you have more than the Harmony can handle... a certain power..."

"Get to the point," Robin was the one to say, as Sunday remained still with eyes darting between Elio and Rickley to figure out the next moves, "You have us right where you want. How is whatever we are doing any of your business? What will it take to leave us alone?"

There may be nothing they can do to Elio since they have agreed on the deal about a future endeavour when they have yet to know about the possibility in escaping fate but they owe nothing especially to an Elated Masked Fool, something more chaotically troublesome than it is worth.

"Leave you alone? Why would I?" Rickley laughed and the siblings looked at each other, easily signalling even without Halovian telepathy that they have invited enough trouble as is, "And here I thought our mutual friend here assured me of your cooperation in exchange for a particularly fun goal down the line."

"Wait. You want to make a partnership with the Masked Fools, and you are using us as bribes. That's... that's..." Sunday said, wondering whether he can actually say what he really thought to the all-knowing cat.

As far as Sunday was concerned, this entire scene was already going too far left. At this point, he will happily take making their debut in peace.

... Wait, who was he kidding? Sunday barely recalled the Elation ever being peaceful, of all things.

"It does sound stupid, hearing it like that," someone called out, and if things weren't troublesome enough, a duo casually approached them, fiddling with bangles until the appearances fizzled out into something that anyone who has caught up with criminal news and seen wanted posters would figure them out. And since both Robin and Sunday have been looking over wanted posters of a certain criminal organization where the leader was playing pet cat for both siblings, it was easy to recognize Kafka and Blade.

"I didn't ask for your opinion, Kafka," Elio said calmly.

"So now they pick you up, huh?" Robin asked almost at the same time, the one delivering sarcasm for once in the uncomfortable position of hostage so both siblings don't do anything unnecessary. Their pet dove, never to be forgotten and a little spooked by more incoming people, tried now to fly in all this chaos and yet fell short to be caught amusedly by Rickley. Even when Sunday and Robin had gone through expert locals to ask about the bird's flight unlike in the past where the injured dove became more of a philosophical question and lesson that Gopher Wood gave food for thought and letting the siblings handle the bird on their own instead of getting the experts needed, for whatever reason they cannot fathom to imagine... the experts that Robin and Sunday were free to seek out now had given the dove tried and true treatment that galaxies have made for a bird's flight but considering the dove's condition now...

At the very least, experts assured Sunday and Robin that the dove would not die from flight failure, having measures to make sure it does not. Thank Aeons for advanced galatic technology, huh? It has all the time to learn to fly and whether it does or not is truly dependant on the bird.

Now, Rickley was stroking the bird while looking at everyone around. He had a relaxing grin that could raise hackles, and at this very moment, Sunday decided that he was going to stop thinking before the far to left chaos gave him a heart attack. It was also better for things to end now, before Robin looked like she was about to break the same way his mind felt like, in small cracks and do something reckless.

And Robin, one who chased dreams so relentlessly, stronger always between the two of them when she stayed resolute while Sunday gave way to tears in the destruction of their home as a long time example, this particular big brother had to be the check for this particular little sister's wilderness that younger siblings just end up having a spectrum of.

"Aeons damnit," Sunday might as well have cursed for the first time with how Robin was gasping behind Rickley, "You said that you want to cooperate in exchange for a particularly fun goal. What's in it for us?"

"So that little cat of yours didn't even bother to fill you in on the details? ... Haha, no wonder you acted up like that! It makes for a fun spectacle!" Rickley laughed after Sunday addressed him, oh so jolly on his face without letting up.

Elio who cozied up in Kafka's arms said, "Well, you Elation types love to have the rug pulled out underneath you. Now that we are all here, I can at least tell you how things will begin. Robin, Sunday, don't you want the debut you have always asked for? Wouldn't it be better with someone who has an in with Epsilon to help along with your debut?"

"And what happened to that star battle?" Robin asked.

"That was to spice things up, which you guys ignored. So I'm more willing to do this your way, if you just stepped up on stage with me regardless, and keep in contact~" Rickley answered.

"Why and how can you be so interested us for that much?" Sunday blurted out. First the Hunters and now a Masked Fool. What joke is this, universe?

"Same reason as them, surely," Rickley pointed to the Hunters, specifically to the cat, "I didn't know what was bugging me, until I heard 'Twins of Order'. And I was like damn, so that was what that power was? And a Fool's instincts are never wrong when they could make for a great dramatic joke."

"Huh. You and the Fools always have a thing for stories, so it seems. This is why you bailed on us without letting us know? Well, what else can we do but let or enigmatic leader be, since we haven't the rights to stop a cat from playing around. Listen, you two, why don't you-" Kafka started saying, only amused at the unfolding drama while Blade remained as ever watchful, vigilant and nonchalant. She stopped short the moment Sunday's face screwed up at the mention of 'Listen' with gritted teeth and all too suddenly, two angelic cherubs floated and stuffed Robin's ears from whatever would be said next.

"I think we would listen if you didn't force us to listen," Sunday gritted his teeth, praying to Ena and Xipe about the strings that might be dancing around minds right now.

"That's what I get for speeding up a process. But I'm starting to see why you might want them, Elio," Kafka mused, "Well, I get the feeling we might not be wanted. Shouldn't we be along our way?"

"No, we should stay and keep watching. The slow burn tension is becoming too much," Elio finally answered what he kept silent behind the enigmatic smile, "We were going to stick around anyway, all the way to the debut and finally leaving together. For the particular fun goal down the line."

That particular fun goal down the line kept being mentioned. Both Elio and Rickley were interested in their Order powers, and kept wanting to stay in contact. While Sunday had some control over his own, Robin was unsure about hers. And yet, this latent power to be realized is the root cause of all this.

The more they know the better, but for Robin in particular, enough with this slow burn tension.

"No one needs to speed up any process in the first place," Robin immediately said, looking at her volaitile older brother with the angelic cherubs at the ready from Kafka's attack despite Robin being held semi-hostage by Rickley. Usually, it was Robin driven to recklessness but there are rare times that the older brother was close to snapping and it won't be pretty in any situation, on the rare times that a younger sibling has to quell the older sibling's wildness. Despite the chaos, Robin felt she had a good grasp of the situation and in such a stalemate out of both side's stubborness...

"You just want us  to do our debut with you, right?" Robin asked, giving an unaffected shrug, "Honestly, now that it has come to do this, we might as well do it. Imagining Mr. Gopher Wood's shock and the message we could pass through to the Family rubbing shoulders with the elusive and chaotic Elation types is actually appealing."

"However," Robin continued even as she noted Sunday's semi-scandalized, some excitement and complicated pondering all in one expression, "We will not be your bribery or hostages. We demand to know what's really going on, and even with the debut, with how you guys know about the Twins of Order, truly make it worth our while."

"... You have fine instincts, dear," Rickley said, releasing Robin immediately from the speech right into Sunday's arms as he glared warily at the rest and yet listened attentively to everything going on, "Those will take you far in the entertainment industry, standing up for yourself and compromising without losing much. Or is that how Beyond The Sky Choir's legacy really amounts up to?"

The dove still resting within his hand was brought upon to Robin, where both her and Rickley's hand brushed each other with the bird in between. In one electric moment, the dove suddenly perked up, soaring right to Robin's shoulder without any difficulties. While Sunday was amazed, Robin knew better, feeling something like strings between her and  the bird...

Like a puppeteer, like how Sunday moves the toys around... and yet the bird was still itself, chirping happily and nudging Robin with a coo.

Rickley then said, "This is how I make it worth your while. Don't think of me as someone so stuck in Elation because that's further from the truth of how Elation is made. I would love to see what you will become, and how the legacy lives up... and topples everything we might ever know. Doesn't that sound Elating? Are you convinced now?"

Frankly, no. If only because this spells a lot of problems. But problems have been coming their way since a cat and if it was inevitable...

Sunday was secretly pissed off and resigned at the same time with the underhanded dealing that the hit pop sensation and cat wanted to get up to, but it was chaos that they would eventually have to get used to, collaborating with Ast Rickley for the indefinite future until both siblings could be taken seriously in the survival of the fittest industry where they are still determined to make a living for because music and singing had been their dream, propelled by the misfortunes, discoveries and yet hope in their life.

Robin for her part was resigned but a little hopeful with the chittering and flying bird at her side circling around her halo, for the unexpected and yet great results that came their way. One day, just like the bird that was propped up by another power to fly and yet eventually be able to fly on its own, they would be guided through the throes of life and soon, no matter how long, they will finally fly on their own.

Even so, both siblings knew that if they were getting into this mess, at least it was together.

That was how their first debut would start in collaboration with Ast Rickley that true to his word marked their luxury ticket to Epsilon and the years that would slowly came to a moment into their young adulthood, time skipping into an established idol and producer in their own changing rooms, resting from a concert yet again and managing affairs, a certain one that they now have been waiting for all this time.

"Is it time already?" Robin asked, as a letter was received from the dove and then read alongside with Sunday standing behind her. Both could only grimaced at its contents and yet looked onward with determination as Robin now addressed her brother, "What is my schedule like right now?"

"It's no wonder we were told to make the schedule light this time around? We don't have to move things around much to make space for the Charmony Festival," Sunday said, referring to the tablet in hand and swiping it around, "... We were also sent our scripts for the Charmony Festival too, dear sister. It truly is time."

"When our services are really needed..." Robin said, now looking over to Sunday's tablet since for this particular service, for their potential real crime, they would have the same script just to make sure nothing was hidden from each other. Just so what the potential schemes of their childhood do not separate them completely. Just so for this particularly important time that they would cover each other for the very worst.

"It's time... to go back to Penacony."
