Brody's POV

"Hey! I see it, Brody!" Sim said "See? There's a big fissure" He said "I guess we can enter through here" He said "Is that steam?" He asks "I wonder if it's going to be really hot in there" He said "But it's too late to get cold feet" He said "I'm shaking with anticipation, Brody!" He said determined "What awaits inside?" He asks "And what awaits us on the top? I can't even imagine what's in store for us" He said "We're heading into a place where no one has ever gone before!" He said "That makes my pulse race!" He said looking at me with excited bright eyes "Let's go, Brody! Let's go inside and climb upward!" He said and we go inside.

*Meanwhile at the Groudon Statue*

Third Person's POV

"Psst....Hey, Chief! What's going on? Something wrong?" Zubat asks whispering "Chief...Hey, Chief... You've been staring at him down for how long now?" Koffing asks "C'mon... let's you and I give him a double dose of the ol' noxious gas...." He said "Shhh! Shut your yap!" Skuntank said "Dear friends! What's wrong? You've been making such scary faces at me!" Wigglytuff said "Bah...this guy's tough...really tough..." Skuntank said "I get it! You're trying to make me laugh with silly faces!" Wigglytuff said "I bet I can make you laugh too!" He said "Blabba! Blabba! Blapp!" He said making silly faces "Blobba! Blobba! Blopp!" He said "C'mon, Chief...!" Koffing said "I can't take this...this whole weird scene is freaking me out..." He said "Ok, then...this isn't working, and we're out of options..." Skuntank said "Hey, Wigglytuff!" He said "Whatiswhatiswhatis...what is it?" Wigglytuff asks "Hey, no hard feelings, but... You're going down!" Skuntank said "Take this! A noxious-gas special! Straight from me and Koffing!" He said and the two attack.

*Meanwhile with Team Hope*

Brody's POV

We made our way through the eight floors of Steam Cave when we reached the mid point with a Kangaskhan statue at the center of the room "We've made it pretty high up!" Sim said "We must be getting close to the top!" He said "GRROOOOOH...!" We hear a roar in the distance but faintly "Hey! What was that?" Sim asks "GROOOOOOH....!" We hear again "Just now....did you hear that?" Sim asks "Did I just imagine that...
Or not?" He asks "Well, anyway... We're almost there, so let's keep going" He said and as we started to walk ahead "GRROOOOOOOH....!" We hear again "Did you hear that, Brody?!" Sim asks and I nodded "So, I didn't imagine that sound after all!" Sim said "It was like some sort of roar!" He said "But I wonder what it could be!" He said "Who knows what's ahead?" He asks "But let's be brave! And let's keep going on!" He said "We're nearly there. Let's go!" He said and walks ahead 'Yes. We are nearly there' I thought 'And when we reach the top...' I thought 'We may meet Uxie at last' I thought 'It may answer my big question! Who am I?' I thought 'That is, who was I....before I lost my memory?' I thought 'That reminds me...I still haven't said a word about this to Sim' I thought "Sim" I said making Sim walking back to me "Yes? What is it, Brody?" Sim asks "I need to tell you something" I said "Oh? What is it?" Sim asks and I confessed what happened since arriving at the base camp "Ever since te base camp you've had a feeling that you somehow know this place?" Sim asks "So you suspect you met Uxie and he erased your memories, Brody?" He asks and I nod "I see...so that's what has been on your mind, Brody!" He said "Hmmm....Brody!" He said looking at me worried and then smiles "Well, now we have just one more reason to get to the top!" Sim said "We have to meet Uxie and find out what really happened!" He said "I wonder what you were like before you lost your memory, Brody...." He said "Perhaps Uxie can provide the answers" He said "Let's go! Let's make our way to the top, Brody!" He said and we walk ahead.

Soon enough, we both reach the Steam Cave Peak "We've climbed far up!" Sim said "This place....It feels... It feels strange somehow..." He said "The very air is charged with tension!" He said "It's making my skin crawl...all over..." He said "I feel like I'm being crushed...by a terrible sense of danger..." He said "GRROOOOOOOH... GRROOOOOOOH....!" We heard the roar clearly this time "Eep!" Sim said "It's that sound we heard earlier, Brody!" He said "Just as I thought! It was the sound of roaring!" He said "GRROOOOOOOH....!" The roar was heard again and then something was approaching making us bounce of the ground lightly with each step it took "S-s-something is...." Sim said "....is... coming!" He said nervous.

*Meanwhile at the Groudon Statue*

Third Person's POV

"Hey, hey, hey! Check this out, everyone!" Corphish said as everyone else from the guild catch up to him "This is it? The Groudon statue?" Chatot asks and Sunflora looks around "Oh! But there's no one else here!" Sunflora said "Are you really sure that you saw the Guildmaster, Corphish?" Chatot asks "Sure, I'm sure!" Corphish said "I saw him when I was scuttling back to the base camp" He said "The Guildmastet dashed past, all willy-nilly, in hot pursuit of a Perfect Apple!" He said "I gave him a shout and a wave, but he seemed too occupied to holler back" He said "But I'd guess that Brody's team went ahead" He said "So I'd bet that the Guildmaster went up after them, don't you think?" He asks and then the ground shakes "Hmm? The ground..." Diglett said "Uh-what....? It's shaking!" Bidoof said "GROOOOH...!" Everyone hears a roar in the distance "What...whatever could that be?!" Chimecho asks "What an uproar! Is it maybe...?" Loudred asks "Something is going on up there!" Corphish said "Let's head up! Hurry!" He said and they all start walking to the right but Diglett and Dugtrio stop "Hmm?" Diglett asks "Hey, dad! Did you hear something right over there?" He asks "Like moaning and groaning?" He asks "Oh, you just imagined it! Now, let's hurry!" Dugtrio said and they go after the others.....unaware to the guild members on the left lay the three idiots of team skull completely wiped out "Ouchee-wow-wow!" Zubat said "I'm d-d-deflated! I can't move!" Koffing said "Hork-ork-how did that happen?" Skuntank asks "How did Wigglytuff shrug off our noxious-gas special like it was nothing?" He asks "And h-h-how did Wigglytuff strike back at us..." Zubat said "It's un-believable..." He said "Ack...." He said "Urk..." Koffing said "Ork..." Skuntank said and the three stay down.

Brody's POV

"GROOOOOOH.... GRROOOOOOOH....!" We hear the roar and soon enough the source of the roar its revealed to be the legendary pokemon Groudon! "Waaah! Wh-what is that?!" Sim asks "It looks like the statue!" He said "Th-that pokemon...really exists?" He asks "GROOOOOOH.... GRRROOOOOOH...!" Groudon roars "Eep!" Sim said nervous "YOU! HAVE YOU COME TO DESECRATE THIS PLACE?" Groudon asks "DEPART NOW!" He said "B-but... All we want is to go to Fogbound Lake!" Sim said nervous "WHAT?! FOGBOUND LAKE?!" Groudon asks "I AM THE GUARDIAN OF FOGBOUND LAKE! I AM GROUDON!" He said "YOU WILL NEVER LEAVE HERE ALIVE, INTRUDERS!" He said "Whaaat?!" Sim asks.

*Meanwhile*

Third Person's POV

"Hey, hey! There's the way in!" Corphish said as they all reached the entrance Team Hope went in "We can go up through here!" Sunflora said "Let's HURRY!" Loudred said and they all go in.

"H....h....hey..." Corphish said "H...hey... Chatot! Can I ask you something while we're running?" He asks "Chatot, do you know about a pokemon called Groudon?" He asks "Well, of course! Just what do you take me for? I'm only the head of intelligence for our guild! Squawk" Chatot said "Groudon is a legendary pokemon spoken of in myths passed down through generations" He said "A legendary pokemon?" Corphish asks "Correct" Chatot said "The myths say that he raised land from the sea. And that he built up the continents!" He said "Hoo-boy! That sounds like a colossal pokemon!" Corphish said "What if you were to face Groudon in battle?" He asks "What would happen?" He asks "Battle?! Out of the question! Squawk!" Chatot said "If anyone were foolish enough to face Groudon in a battle..." He said "Well, it would be like throwing your life away!" He said "He is that strong! Like all legendary pokemon!" He said.

*Back with Team Hope*

Brody's POV

Groudon roars "Urk....This is scary..." Sim said nervous "But we need to be brave!" He said serious "And I need to face up to this!" He said determined "There's no giving up now, Brody!" He said "PREPARE FOR MY WRATH! GRROOOOOOOH!" Groudon said and a battle started.

Groudon started sunny day and I used Aura Sphere while Sim uses tackle and Groudon smacked us back and I use aura sphere again and Sim uses tackle and Groudon used slash on Sim  and I use Aura sphere and Sim follows it up with ice fang and we defeat Groudon!

"GRROOOOooooooh....ooooh...." Groudon said "GRROOOOOOH!" He said and collapses on the ground "We did it! We defeated Groudon!" Sim said "But...is it really....?" He asks and then a bright light shines from Groudon "Waaah!" Sim said and when the light died out Groudon was gone "Huh? Groudon disappeared?!" Sim asks "That was... That was not Groudon" Someone said "That Groudon was nothing more than an illusion that I conjured" He said "Who said that?" I asked "Like I said earlier, I am the guardian here" The voice said "And I cannot allow you to pass" He said "Wait, please!" Sim said "We're not here to cause trouble!" He said "We came only for information!" He said "Information, you say?" The voice asks "Yes! That's the honest truth!" Sim said "Well, we admit that we're an exploration team..." He said "And we'd like to leave with treasure.after all our effort!" He said "But we'll leave without any if you have a problem with that" He said "We'll be happy to say that we just made it this far" He said "Please! Please believe us!" He said "Hmm.... Well....Ok, I believe you" The voice said and the pokemon appeared "Let me welcome you, then" He said "I am Uxie, the guardian of Fogbound Lake" Uxie said "What?! Did you say Uxie?!" Sim asks "Yes, truly" Uxie said "I stand guard over something special....that lies in Fogbound Lake" He said "Now, let me escort you to Fogbound Lake" He said "Please, come this way" He said and leads the way.

"Wow, it's become dark outside!" Sim said when we arrived "It may be a little difficult to see at night, but..." Uxie said "Behold! Fogbound Lake!" He said "Wow!" Sim said amazed as we saw......this.

"That's incredible!" Sim said amazed "Who'd expect to see such a big lake on a plateau so high up?" He asks smiling "And those floating Volbeat and Illumise..." He said "So beautiful!" He said "Water constantly wells up from far below this place" Uxie said "It flows up so heavily that it has long formed this enormous lake" He said "Now cast your eyes to the glowing area at the lake's center" He said "Yes, I see it!" Sim said "It's radiating from below!" He said "That blue green radiance, right" He asks "Step forward for a closer look" Uxie said and we did and saw

'What could that be?' I thought 'I can't figure it out...but it's making my heart race!' I thought 'But why? Why should it stir me up so much?' I thought 'Why is my pulse speeding all of a sudden?' I thought "That's fantastic! But..." Sim said amazed "What is that?" He asks "It has such a mystical quality!" He said "That is....a Time Gear" Uxie said suprising us "What?! That's a Time Gear?!" Sim asks "Yes. I guard the Time Gear" Uxie said "It's the sole reason I'm here" He said "Others before you have tried to trespass here" He said "But I used my Groudon illusion to chase most of them off" He said "Groudon? How'd you do that?" Sim asks "That is something I create using my psychic abilities" Uxie said "Like so..." He said making the illusion Groudon but this time you could see through him "Waah!" Sim said startled "There is no need to be startled" Uxie said "As I've said, it's just an illusion" He said "What you fought was no more than that" He said "There have been others before who defeated my Groudon illusion" He said "They managed to make their way to this spot" He said "But they were trespassers! So I took away their memories..." He said "And, thus, protected the lake" He said "Took away their memories...?" Sim asks "...Oh that's right! We hope to ask you something, Uxie!" He said "Mmet my partner, Brody!" He said "At present, a pokemon! At one time, a human!" He said "Oh, really? A human?" Uxie asks "Yes! But Brody has lost all memory of being a human" Sim said "So, we're wondering... have you maybe met Brody here before, Uxie?" He asks "And did you take away Brody's memory?" He asks "Has that ever happened? Did a human ever come here?" He asks "The answer is...no. No human has ever come here" Uxie said "I should explain further...I erase only memories of Fogbound Lake" He said "I cannot fully erase all memories from living beings" He said "I had nothing to do with your friend's memory loss" He said "Nor anything to do with your friend's transformation into a pokemon" He said "The cause lies elsewhere" He said "Oh, well...that's ok" Sim said "So it doesn't seem like you've been here after all, Brody" He said "Uxie, we hoped to meet you to learn more about my partner....Uh, what's that?!" He asks "A Time Gear! A Time Gear! Well, too bad!" We heard Wigglytuff speak as he walks over "We can't take a Time Gear" Wigglytuff said "W-Wigglytuff!" Sim said "Wow! Fantastic!" Wigglytuff said walking over looking at the lake "And who might this be?" Uxie asks "That's our Guildmaster!" Sim said "Glad to meet you, friend! Friend! Friend! Friend!" Wigglytuff said to Uxie then walked to the Groudon illusion "Glad to greet you, friend! Friend! Amazing! Friend!" He said "Gaze upon this amazing view!" He said looking at the lake "I'm delighted we came! La-dee-la! Dee-la-dee!" He said "Squ-squ-squawk?!" We hear Chatot and we look behind to see everyone minus team skull here "It's Groudon!" Sunflora said "D-d-d-ding!" Chimecho said "Don't eat me! I'm not tasty!" Corphish said "Hello to one and all! So what's wrong?" Wigglytuff asks walking to them "G-G-Guildmaster!" Chatot said "Oh, never mind that! Everyone, look out there!" Wigglytuff said "It's spotuing!" He said "Pretty! Pretty!" He said "HUH?" Everyone asked and they all watch as well as Sim and I to see this

"Oh, my! So shimmering!" Chimecho said "Yup yup! Some kind of pretty!" Bidoof said "Yes, the lake geyser erupts every now and then" Uxie said "It sends up water, just like a fountain..." He said "And the Time Gear sends up illumination from below.." He said "While many Illumise and Volbeat glow upon the fountain of water..." He said "In harmony, they are the very vision of beauty!" He said "The treasure!" Wigglytuff said "The treasure....must be the view of Fogbound Lake!" He said and Sim rest his head on my shoulder "Are you taking in this view, Brody? This is so magical!" Sim said smiling "It's really too bad that we didn't learn anything about your past, Brody" He said "But I'm glad we came!" He said "I'm happy that I got to see such a beautiful scene with everyone!" He said "I'm truly happy" He said "I'm glad I came too" I said cupping Sim's cheek making him giggle and blush brightly 'Sure, it's true we never learned who I am...' I thought 'Hang on a minute.... Uxie said...' I thought 'He said he didn't know me...' I thought 'But then how did I know about this place?!' I thought 'And that Time Gear!' I thought 'When I see that Time Gear... Why does my pulse race when I see it?' I thought 'And this unease I feel... What does it mean?' I thought "So sorry! To have disturbed you!" Wigglytuff said "Had a fantastic time! Friend! Friend! Friend!" He said "I shall not take away your memories of this place" Uxie said "You have earned my trust" He said "But I must ask that you keep this place a secret" He said "Surely! Thank you! We all know what we need to do!" Wigglytuff said "You know, another Time Gear has been stolen. This one must say safe!" He said "We won't ever say a word about this place!" He said "I swear it in the name of Wigglytuff's Guild!" He said "Please hold true to that promise" Uxie said "Ok! Let's be on our way!" Wigglytuff said "Chatot, if you will!" He said "I'll hop to it, Guildmaster!" Chatot said "Everyone, we're going back to the guild!" He said "HOORAY!" We all said.

Third Person's POV

And so...The guild's long and challenging expedition finally came to an end...Wigglytuff and the members safely returned to the guild...For Brody and the apprentices...Going to the guild meant taking up the standard training schedule...It was life as usual back at the guild! And Brody's team was rewarded! Its Treasure Bag is now bigger! They can now carry more items than they could before!
