The girl stood patiently in front of the blond vampire. Waiting. Waiting for the moment he'd drink her blood.

Mika on the other hand stood there with wide eyes. His hands twitched. Breathing became rapid, and shallow.

"Pardon me" he said in a hurry. Yu called after him only to get ignored.

Ignoring the human girl he ran after him. He followed him all the way into the woods.

The trees were full with dark green leaves. The wood was a beautiful chestnut.

Feeling himself panic he yelled out "Mika! Where did you go!"

He wondered for who knows how long searching for his Mika. When he finally found him, Mika was curled up in a ball at the base of a tree.

Yu's heart ached at the sight, he looked so broken. So alone. "Mika" he murmured softly.

"I-I'm sorry Yu-Chan. I-it was just too much" his sad sapphire eyes looked up at him, a lone tear made its way down his cheek.

"Y-you're crying" Mika eyes widened, his hand immediately touching his check. He was indeed crying.  "You haven't cried for many years"  he added.

"It's been so long, I forgot what it felt like" he forced a smile, only making himself tear up even more.

With his own forced smile Yu sat down next to his Mika. His arms finding their way around his shoulders.

Mika nuzzled into his chest letting the stray tears soak into the others uniform. Not that he minded.

"Everything's going to fine" he reassured him, however it was a lie. He himself didn't know how much more he could handle being a blood sucker.

He could tell Mika couldn't either. Everything around them seemed to be crumbling around them.

Yu wondered how long they could go in for till they did too. Would it be a week, a month, a year? He just didn't know. Even through he wanted to know.

"Will it really be okay?" He looked down at their intertwined hands

Instead of responding he stayed quiet. What could he say in that moment?

'Yes, it will all be okay, we'll survive without human blood'

That was such bullshit. Even in his own mind it sounded like bullshit. If anyone told him that he'd laugh in their face.

Mika chuckled dryly "you, yourself don't think we'll make it huh?"

This time he opted for a small nod. "What's the point?" He continued on. "What's the point in us surviving?"

"Surviving made it possible for me to know just how much I love you" Mika pulled away from the embrace.

"Y-you love me?" He said so quietly and so confused that Yu couldn't tell of he returned his feelings.

"I. Love. You. Mika." He repeated with a genuine smile.

Even more tears forced their way out of the sapphire eyes Yu loved to see so much.

"I....love you too...." He smiled softly.

Yu's own emerald eyes filled with tears, his hands came up to cup his cheeks. His thumbs wiped away the others tears.

"I'll love you no matter what, even in the after life."

This one sentence made Mika's eyes widen, before they flutter shut. His head lead forward so it was pressed against yu's. "Even in death"

Bring his head down so that their lips brushed together, his non beating heart danced with happiness. "We'll be together"

Yu dipped his head allowing Mika to capture his lips. The kiss itself was slow, and full of longing. Lips lapped at each other, Arms brought them closer.

The moment they parted both of their cheeks were a rosy pick. Their tears were now dried.

Not wanting the moment to end Yu pulled Mika towards him again. Their lips locking back into place.

This moment right here made all their suffering worth it. However this kiss alone made them forget everything outside of their little bubble.

It was like no one in the world aside from them were alive.

Ending the kiss once again they cuddled together underneath the setting sun.
