Underneath the star filled sky two boys cuddles close together. Their lips swollen from all the soft kisses they gave each other.

The moment the sun began to rise, Turing the blue sky to a mix of blush pink and lavender did they get up.

Their hands were tightly intertwined. Shoulders bumped into each other every few steps. Neither of them minding it.

Despite needing to head back to the vampire city they began to wonder. They wondered all over the ruin city.

The travel all across. Seeing what the city had been reduced too. They passed many familiar places along the way. To the orphanage all the way to the park they used to play in.

Even though the world had been  in shambles for years they still remembered their childhood as if it were yesterday.

They remembered all the little glances and hand holding.

They remembered the day their caretaker found them asleep together for the the first time after a stormy night.

Nothing ever lasts, so they choose to cherish the time they had left. They may have bodies that can keep them alive for centuries, but they were born human, and as such they decided they would die human.

They wouldn't let a single drop of human blood into their system.  The day their blood rations ran out they thought it was the end.

It may have been only a week, however they enjoyed the time they spent together. Everyone wants more time with their loved ones.

Mika and Yu were no exception. Wanting to use up all their time till vampire blood would no longer work they headed back to the city.

However they never made it. Mika ended up losing control. He almost drank blood, but Yu managed to stop him by shoving his own arm in his mouth.

This little accident allowed them to continue living on their own by mutually feeding.

The thrist however soon caught up to them. It soon got the point where they could no longer travel long distances. It would only be a matter of time before they would be no more.

Thus they searched, and searched for moon demon compony soldiers. "Mika!" Yu smiled up at him "look!" He pointed at the distance where two four horsemen of John were busy running after something.

Returning his smile he squeezed his hand and leaped forward. When they got closer they saw a team of five attempting to run away however one of their teammates were injured.

That one teammate was dragging the entire team down, however the humans refused to leave them behind.

"This may be it" Yu placed a kiss on Mika's forehead.

"Yes" Mika kissed the others cheek.

Prying their eyes off each other they unsheathed their swords.

"Drink of my blood" they said in sync. Red vines with thorns emerged from the hilts of the swords.

When it clamped done on their hands the blades of their swords turned crimson.

Glancing at each other one last time they leaped into action. In a single slash the two four horsemen of John were slain.

The humans gasped as they were rained on by crimson blood. Luckily one of the females used her cursed gear to shield them from the blood.

They looked relief that they were saved however when they spotted their saviors their faces turned grim.

They couldn't complete a proper formation without their fifth teammate.

Despite the odds being against them they got ready to attack.

Yu noticed their hostel behavior towards them so in the blink of an eye he sheathed his sword "We're not going to harm you!"

Who he assumed was the leader shouted back at him "your a blood sucker! Why would we trust you!"

Mika frowned at her words but sheathed his own sword nonetheless. "We have a favor to ask you! That's all!"

The purple haired girl glanced back at her teammates, her lips quivered. She was afraid of what would happen if they fought. "What do you want!" A pink haired male shouted

"We want you to kill us" Mika stated firmly.

The moon demon company soldiers eyes widen. They all shared uneasy looks. Why would vampires ask such a thing?

"Why?" A brunette brought his bow down.

"Because we wish to die human, we don't want to become blood suckers" When he said that they were standing mere feet apart.

"Human? Shinoa, what are they taking about?"

Shinoa looked at both of their eyes then to their mouths "you're fledglings" she gasped.

"Yes we are, so please do what we ask of you" Mika's squeezed Yu's hand tightly.

"I-I'll....do it" her hand clutched her scythe

Mika smiled softly, his head turned to look at Yu who had a troubled look on his face. "Yu-Chan?" He questioned

Yu met his sapphire eyes with his emerald ones "we can't do this Mika"
