Sam's POV

I hear foot steps quietly walk back, and forth the bedroom; but I continue sleeping anyways. "Saaaammm......" a gentle voice whispers into my ears. I moan quietly as I buried my face into a pillow. "Come on, Sam. We have to get ready for school." the same voice wined softly. I did not respond. "Why won't you get out of bed? I would expect you to be the early bird of this house." I sighed. I muffled out, "What's the point if I will just be treated like a dumb bunny?" There was a silence in the room, until he cleared his throat; looking as if he were about to speak. "Is that how you see me treating you?" I glanced up at him; already in his uniform that was just missing a tie. "No....." I lightly responded. He pondered a bit before his face lit up with an idea. "If your not going to get up then........I'll just do it the way my mom used to get me up in the morning!" he sparked. Before I could question him, he tickled my stomach furiously. I was laughing, and pleating for him to stop at the same time; but I knew he wouldn't until I get up. "Ple-ease, HaHa....Stt-top! I-I'll get u-up!" He pulled away giggling. "I'll make breakfast as you change, okay." I nodded with a smile struck on my face. He left the room, and I heard him scamper down the stairs. I quickly got ready, and was about to go. Then I noticed a blue tie on Taurtis' dresser, he must have forgotten to put it on. I grab it, and make my way down stairs to an aroma of toasting bread. Taurtis was scrolling his phone, and munching on a piece of toast; not noticing me. I took this opportunity for my revenge. I smiled evilly, and snuck up behind him. I wrapped his tie around his neck, and tied it to the chair. "What!? What the heck?!? Sam! What happened?!? What is this?!" I turn his chair toward myself, and answered, "Just a little pay back....." I smirked deviously. "Come on! It was just tickles to get you up!" he complained as he took off the tie, and threw it a top the ground. I giggled, and handed him the tie off the kitchen floor. He is so cute when he's mad. Wait. Did I just say cute?!?! It's probably nothing.......I hope. "I'm going to the bathroom to fix my attire" he mummers, sounding angry. I later hear groans, grunts, and moans coming from the bathroom upstairs. I skit up the stairs, and knock on the door. "Taurtis? You okay? Do you need help?" I asked, worried. No reply. I grab the handle, and march inside to see him struggling to apply his tie. I then chuckled out, "You need help there? You seem to be in so sort of predicament." He glared at me with frustrated eyes.

Taurtis' POV

I can't get this stupid tie on!!! I start groaning, in frustration. I think Sam heard me because I hear steps on the stairs; then a knock on the door. "Taurtis? You okay? Do you need help?" Sam called with a worry under his breath. I didn't want embarrass myself in front of Sam, so I didn't reply. He barged in to see me struggling to get ready, and chuckled, "You need help there? So seem to be in so sort of predicament." I glared at him with frustrated eyes. "Oh, shut up, and help me.....Baka!" He giggled, "Coming from one himself!" I rolled my eyes, and he grabbed the tie from my neck; still giggly. He tied it carefully, and quite quickly I may add. "Better?" I smiled at him, and responded, "Sure....if that's what you want, bunny boy~" He looked flustered up. "Let's just get to school, Taurtis," Sam suggested. I nodded as we left the house.

*Time skip to at school*

We walked pasted the gates as my eyes widened to the prettiest sight I've ever seen. There at the doors of the school, stood a girl; not just any girl though. She had slick, brown hair with blue tips at her bangs. She was talking to Soul, and Sookie. This felt like love at first sight. She then noticed me, and gave me a distance smile; right there, my heart melted. She started walking towards me. Calm down, Taurtis! Just play it the way you always do with all the ladies, but she was different than the others. "Hi! My name is Salexbrown!" she spoke kindly. I could feel myself blushing a light red. "My name is Taurtis! I was just wondering, what's a pretty face like yours doing at this school? I don't think I've seen you before, right?" I could see light pink blush on her perfect peach skin. "Huh. Well, I was home schooled until now," she shyly stated. "Well, I could show you around the school before classes!" She smiled brightly. "That would be amazing of you! But before we do that, who is this?" Salex gestured to behind me at Sam; I completely forgot he was there. I feel like a jerk for shoving him out. "Oh, right! This is my best friend, Sam." Sam looked at Salex, and grinned widely at her. I saw her blush a dark red, that made me slightly jealous. I really hope that Sam doesn't love Salex as much as me.

Salex's POV (didn't see that coming, did you)

I walked into my new school, and started talking to 2 girls. I glance behind them to see a pretty cute guy staring at me, and I gave him smile. I walked to him, and introduce myself to him. I blushed when he called me pretty. He also volunteered to show me around. Then, I noticed a boy with bunny ears behind him, he looked super hot. (Yes, I know I am evil for making Salex in love with Sam. Just keep reading, she ends up loving Taurtis more) I asked who person behind Taurtis was. It turns out, his name is Sam. He grinned widely at me; making blush madly.

Sam's POV

When me, and Taurtis walked into the gates of the school, he laid "goo-goo eyes" on this girl. Then out of nowhere, they were having a full blown conversation! I can't help but feel.......jealous? No. I am just jealous over the fact that he is my best friend, not anything else.......I think. "who is this?" is all I heard her say as she gestured to me. Taurtis turned around, and I knew he felt like a jerk for ignoring me; even just by looking at his face. "Oh, right! This is my best friend, Sam." Taurtis stated. To act like nothing was wrong, I grinned widely to the girl. Surprisingly, she blushed madly at this. I think Taurtis was jealous because he obviously flirting with her. "Let's show you around the school around; come on Sam, and Salex." Taurtis blurted out. Me, and Salex.....I think that's her name, nodded at the same time.

*Time Skip*

"Okay class. Roll call is starting, so listen up. But, it's not like it madders anyways, nothing really madders. Life was always pointless." Gareth depressing stated, he seemed more messed up than yesterday. He did roll call as I just sat at my desk, and stared out the window. Taurtis, and Salex were still talking to each other because there was a free seat next to him for her to sit in. I just gazed outside before I heard my name being called out. "Sam? Is Sam here?" Gareth asked. "Here....." I said softly, as I slowly raised my hand; still not removing my vision from the town out the window. Then something caught my attention. "Today, we will be discussing how life has no point to it but to gain love, and.....you would do anything for the one you love." Gareth claimed sincerely. I got out of my daze, and actually had interest in this subject. I listened closely as Gareth continued, "You feel something.....you can't feel with anybody else. You feel like...that was the reason gord sent us here, to protect the ones that care more about us; than we do ourselves. And, if that person ever goes before yourself.....you feel a flame die in your heart. And, sometimes.....you just want to die to see them again. So you can live happily again after your life.....that is what is happening to me. My wife is dead. And I want to join her." Damn, that's deep. I even saw some students crying. The bell rang for lunch, thank gord! I thought if I listened to this anymore, I would cry. As I walked out, I heard Gareth whisper to the ceiling, "Why wouldn't you take me out of this hell already?!" I went to the cafeteria; without Taurtis. He was flirting more with Salex. I just sat next to J. And soon after that; Taurtis, and Salex sat across from us. They chattered more with J too, so I stared off into space just munchin' on my carrots. After what felt like forever; plus another ever, the bell rang for gym. We lined up, and stretched. "ALRIGHT, MAGGOTS! I HAVE TO HELP GARETH WITH SOME WORK, SO JUST CHANGE FOR THE POOL!" Rowan yelled. We go into the locker room, and surprisingly, Taurtis taps my shoulders. "Hey, sorry I haven't been the greatest best friend today. I was just showing around Salex to school life; kind of like what I was doing with you, yesterday. I also.....kind of like her." Taurtis apologized. "It was completely obvious you were flirting with her. You two seem to really like each other." I replied. Taurtis blushed a little, and rubbed the back of his neck before saying, "You really think so? By the way she laid her eyes on you, I thought she liked you more. I was really hoping you didn't like her back." I smiled at him, and responded, "I would never try to steal your girl Taurtis! Go get her tiger!" He gave me a reassuring smile back. As long as he is happy, I am....right? I started thinking about what Gareth taught earlier as we walked outside to the pool. I saw Taurtis' jaw drop to the ground when he saw Salex in a bikini. I laughed at this, and he shoved me into the pool while blushing madly. Everyone else then cannonballed on top of me at the same time. I almost ran out of breath before making it to the surface in time. I was then suddenly pulled under to be face to face with Dom. He tried to straggle me, but I kicked him in the face instead. His nose started to bleed, and he looked pissed to the bone. He used my ears, and tied them to a underwater rail. I can't breathe, I'm running out of time. I can see the blue pool turning to a black abyss. What's the point in trying to yell, I'll only die faster. Why? Why does Dom hate me? Why can't we just be friends? Why does he want me to die? Why does he make my life a living hellhole? All these questions made me lose my mind as I slowly was drowning. 'Splash!' Something, no someone takes my ears out off the knot, and pulls me up. It was Salex. "Are you okay?! I saw your ears tied to the rail underwater, who did this to you?" Salex asked worryingly. "Dom...." I muttered. She gave me a towel, and we walked to some pool chairs. She was actually a pretty funny girl, but I don't really love her. He chose a good crush. She was kind of like a girl version of Taurtis, but more shy, and less cocky. Taurtis speed walks up to us looking surprised. "Sam! Is it true that Dom almost drowned you? And that Salex saved your butt?" he spat. I nodded. He then hugged me really tightly. "Please, don't scare me like that again. I was only in the bathroom for five minutes, man." Taurtis begged. I nod, and the bell rings for the end of school. It's only been 2 days, and I've already been in so much trouble! We all get changed, and start to head home. We walked home in silence. "Soooo Taurtis, ummm...Salex is a pretty good person. And I'm happy for you if you get her to be yours." I spoke. He looked at me with loving eyes, and replied, "Thanks" But......for some reason, it kills me to see Taurtis in love.

2139 words! That chapter killed me to write. So much writers block!!! But, now I finally got a phone, so I can write stories on the bus. Or maybe at lunch, I don't really know! Well, that was chapter 5, Taurtis in love. Remember to read, comment, and vote for more!!! Bye weirdos!
