After 2 months...

Manik along with mukhbhi were in living room. Cavya and abeer were not here because they went to India to meet navya's mom as she was ill. Manik and abhimanyu were working on their laptop while Mukti was sitting their sipping her coffee with her headphones on seeing music vedio.

Nandani was in her room. As it was her 9th month, she was not able to move around because of her big belly. She was sitting on her bed, leaning her back on the bed rest. Aarav was sitting beside her, doing his homework. And nandani was helping him.

Na: aaru you are doing it....

But Nandani's word left unspoken. She hold her stomach closing her eyes. Aarav became scared seeing his mom in pain. He immediately ran to manik.

Aar: papa ( horrified)

Ma: Kya hua champ ( worried, picking him up)

Aar: Mumma ko bhout pain ho rha h.

Ma: what!!!!

Manik immediately ran towards their room with Aarav in his arms. He made Aarav stand and went to nandani. She was wincing in pain, tears were flowing through her eyes.

Na: mani( breathing heavily) my water broke.

Manik became extremely scared. He immediately picked her up in his arms and ran downstairs. He asked Abhimanyu to drive while he sat at the back seat with nandani in his arms. They reached the hospital.

After 5 hours

It was been 5 hours, since nandani was in labour. Manik was pacing to and forth in front of the labour room. Aarav was sitting with Mukti, excited for new baby. But he was too scared seeing his mom in pain.

Then only they heard a cry of a baby. Aarav jumped off Mukti lap jumping in joy.

Aar: papa baby aagya ( excited)

Ma: yeah champ (happily picking him up in his arms)

Aar: papa Mumma Thik h na? ( scared)

Ma: of course bacha.

Doctor came out of the labour room. Mukhbhi too went to her.

Doc: congratulations Mr malhotra you became the father of a beautiful baby girl.

Ma: ( smiling)  thank you Doc.

Doc: you too little malhotra ( to Aarav to which he mouthed a thank you) ND don't worry mr malhotra, the baby is healthy.

Ma: doc how's my wife? ( worried)

Doc: she is perfectly fine, just a little weak. We have shifted her to room 1025. You can meet her and even the baby is with her.

Ma: thank you doctor. ( doctor nodded and went)

Abhi : congratulations manik and Aarav ( hugging them)

Muk: main teesre baar bua bann gyi. ( excited)

Manik chuckle. They went to room 1025. Manik was first one to enter. Entering the room, he saw nandani lying on the hospital bed with their baby resting on her chest. She was crying looking at the baby, but that was out of happiness.

Manik slowly took the step towards her. Nandani looked up at him and smiled widely.

Na: Mani our baby ( happily, with teary eyes)

Ma: thank you nandani

Manik kissed her forehead and then carresed the baby's back. Aarav too came and climbed on the bed, sitting beside nandani. He was admiring his little sister. Mukhbhi were outside, giving them some personal time.

Manik slowly picked the baby in his arms. Manik smile only grew bigger seeing the little bundle of joy in his hand.

Ma: nandu she has your eyes and lips.

Na: obviously, she is my daughter after all.

Ma: yeah, she got your height also. ( chuckling)

Nandani pouted listening to him. Aarav and manik laughed.

Ma: are you in pain ( concerned)

Na: no Mani, it's worth all pain ( looking at the baby)

Suddenly the door opened and mukbhi along with Aryaman entered with balloons and cake in their hands. Seeing all this, Aarav clap his hand excitedly. But due to loud sound, baby start crying.

Nandani immediately took the baby and made her quite. Manik and Aarav glared at them to which they mouthed a sorry.

Na: guys, come. ( smiling)

All three came to the bed. Mukti was the first one to hold the baby among them.

Muk: Gosh, she is Soo cute

Arya: just like my sister ( proudly grinning)

Abhi : bas manik ne tarah angry hulk na bane. ( chuckling)

Ma: oh hello main yahi hu ( glaring abhi)

Abhi : ha toh darta hu main Tujhse. ( all laughed at this)

But one person was sitting their with grumpy face. Aarav, he didn't even got to hold his little sister. He claimed down the bed, and pulled manik jeans. Manik looked down to find a grumpy Aarav. He picked him up.

Ma: what happen champ? ( confused)

Aar: even I want to hold the baby. ( grumpy)

Ma: Ohh ( smiling)

Manik made him sit beside nandani and slowly put the baby in his lap. Aarav smile grew seeing the baby so close. He slowly carresed her small fingers, making her move her eye ball. Slowly the baby opened her eyes, all eyes were on her. Aarav smile few more but bigger seeing baby opening eyes.

Aar: Mumma she can See Me

Na: yeah bacha ( smiling)

Aar: hello baby, I'm your big brother ( excitedly and the baby smile a little looking at him)  Mumma see, she is smiling.

All were admiring the two sibling. Aarav was making faces while the baby was smiling.

Na: manik have you thought any name for her?

Ma: yeah, Ahana manik malhotra
