*The next day*

*Wave and ember were wandering through the forest, laughing and talking*

Wave: Hey y'know emmy, tonight there's gonna be some glittery rainbow comets and I was wondering if...

Ember: If what? ':3

Wave: W- well uh...W- would you uh...*continues to stutter nervously*

Ember: *Smiling playfully* Are you trying to ask me out on a date?

Wave:...Yeah *blushes a little and his tail wags a bit* so uh-

Ember: Sure! I'd love to go with you

Wave: R- really? *lets out a short exhale* wow! awesome! great! so uh- I'll pick you up later tonight?

Ember: Sure! is 6 o'clock good?

Wave: Y- yeah! totally!

Ember: Great! see ya *kisses wave's cheek and walks off*

*Wave blushed heavily when ember kissed his cheek and he started giggling quietly and running in place out of joy and excitement*

*In the distance ember looked back and saw wave celebrating to himself and smiled and chuckled at how cute he was before she went through some bushes to head back to the campsite*

*Meanwhile*

Wave: She. said. YES!! I can't believe it! I'm going on a date with ember! ah this is so exciting!

Rosetta: Wow! congratulations bro! you're going on your very first date! :3

Wave: I know!...but wait- what are we gonna do about bruno?

Rosetta: Oh- me and my friends have that covered, we're gonna pretend we're pop trolls and and make him chase us out of the jungle long enough until your date's finished

Wave: Okay

Rosetta: So when are you picking her up?

Wave: 6 o'clock

Rosetta: Perfect! now I gotta go get my troll disguise, bye! *teleports away*

Wave: Oh, okay bye :3

*A few hours later*

*Wave was waiting for ember at the campsite*

Wave (thinking to himself): Okay wave, this is it...you and ember's first date

Ember: I'm here!

*Wave looked ahead and blushed when he saw ember*

*Ember was wearing a magenta dress that faded to white at the bottom, her hair was curled at the ends and she was wearing a hot-pink flower in her hair*

Ember: What do you think?

Wave: You look so beautiful

Ember: *giggles* So...you ready?

Wave: Y- yeah totally *wags his tail*

*Wave and ember walk into the forest*

*Meanwhile, farther in the forest*

*Bruno was watching the forest in the trees*

*Below the trees, rosetta and her friends, Coral, Dani, Ali and Marina were hiding in the bushes*

Rosettta (whispering): Okay girls, now remember the plan?

Aqua: Disguise ourselves as pop trolls and have your grandpa chase us around long enough until your brother's date is over?

Rosetta: That's the one aqua

Coral: Oh, I'm so excited!

Rosetta: *puts on her troll disguise* Prepare the catapult >:3

*Rosetta's friends put on pop troll costumes before they form a catapult with some vines*

Rosetta: Ladies...Operation; Emberave date has officially begun >:3

*The catapult launches rosetta upwards*

Coral: Go get 'em queen! >:3

*Rosetta flew through the air and was spotted by bruno*

Rosetta (In her pop troll disguise): Hey tuna-breath! come get me! >:D

Bruno: *sighs* Here we go again...

*Bruno runs down the tree and goes after rosetta*

*Meanwhile*

*Ember and wave arrived at the party and the rest of the sea monsters were in awe*

Sea monster #1: Oh look at those two

Sea monster #2: Aren't they wonderful?

Ember: *chuckles* Wow, they seem really calm

Wave: Yeah X3 oh! and ember, I wanna introduce you to my family! *heads over to alberto, beatstar and viviana*

Wave: These are my parents, King Alberto and Queen Beatstar and this is my grandmother Viviana

Viviana: So, you must be my grandson's crush! I must say he picked an absolutely beautiful young woman

Ember: *giggles* Thank you Miss viviana

Viviana: Oh please dear, do call me "Viv"

Ember: Okay X3

Beatstar: So what's your name?

Ember: Ember :3

Beatstar: Oh that's such a cute name!

Ember: *giggles*

Alberto: Now we better get going and you two enjoy your date X3

*Alberto, beatstar and viviana walk off to leave ember and wave alone*

Ember: *turns to wave* Well they were certainly friendly :3

Wave: Yeah, they're really nice X3

*Music started playing*

Ember: Ooh! sounds like the music's started up, would you care to dance?

Wave: O- oh, I dunno how to dance *rubs the back of his head nervously*

Ember: *smiles softly* Would you like me to show you?

Wave: Yes please *smiles shyly*

Ember: Okay first, I'll wrap one of my arms around your neck like this *wraps one of her arms around wave's neck* now you wrap one of your arms around my waist like this

*Ember puts one of wave's arms around her waist*

Wave (A bit nervous): N- now what?

Ember: Just grab my hand silly X3

Wave: Oh right-

*Wave's other hand grabs ember's other hand*

Ember: Now just walk step by step and eventually you'll get the hang of it

*Wave smiled shyly before he and ember started to dance*

Ember: There you go! you're doing great wave :3

Wave: Really? *tail wags*

Ember: Yeah look at you, you're a natural!

Wave: Hehe thanks X3

*Wave and ember continued to dance together*

*Meanwhile*

*Rosetta was still in her pop troll costume running through the forest*

Rosetta (in her pop troll disguise): You'll never catch me old man! >:D

Bruno (chasing rosetta): Get over here! I will catch you! pop troll! *stops to catch his breath and pants* I'm gettin' too old for this...*Continues chasing rosetta*

*Back with ember and wave*

*Wave and ember were continuing to dance under the night-sky as glittery rainbow comets soared by*

Wave (mumbling): *rests his chin on top of ember's head* I love you...

Ember: Hm? what'd you say?

Wave: *eyes widen and blushes heavily* N- nothing...

Ember: *smiles playfully* Okay X3

*Ember rests her head on wave's shoulder*

Ember: I love you too by the way

*Wave smiled softly and purred quietly*

Ember (thinking): He's so sweet X3

*Wave and ember look into each other's eyes as ember rests one hand on wave's chest and caressing his cheek with the other while wave wrapped one of his arms behind her back and caresses her cheek as well...they were so close together, practically inches away from sharing their first kiss*

Ember: I love you wave...

Wave: I love you too...emmy

*Ember chuckled softly before she placed a soft kiss on wave's forehead*

Ember: Such a good boi...

*Wave's eyes brighten up and smiled*

Wave: I'm a good boi? :3

Ember: *giggles* You're so cute >X3 *kisses wave's forehead again*

*Wave purred softly and wags his tail*

*Then ember gently grabs wave's face and kisses him*

*Wave's eyes widen in surprise but soon melts into the kiss*

*They pull away after a while before they smile and lean their foreheads against each other*

Wave: Would you like me to walk you back to the camp?

Ember: *chuckles* of course

*Wave and ember walk back to the campsite while holding hands*

*However, watching from the shadows a pair of red eyes were seen before a growl was heard*
