Artemis pov

I woke up at 5 am wrapped in percys arms I really didn't want to get up but I haven't hunted in a while and I need to practice. I slowly unlatched percys arms from around me and crawled out. I let out a small yawn as I stood up and stretched out my muscles I looked back at percy he looked so adorably hot lying there in hindsight if I wasn't going to go hunting I would have went back to bed and cuddled into his strong arms but I resisted the urge and got dressed instead. Well really I just snapped my fingers and I was dressed but you get the point. Since today I finally got to hunt with the girls I wore a pair of ruffed up blue jeans there were a couple holes in them just from wear and tare, I had a plain black t-shirt on it and since I was in a "percy's girl" fais I had 'pertemis' written on the back but the hunters didn't need to know that so I walked to my closet and found a leather sleeveless jacket waiting to be taken. I slipped it on and zipped it up half way. I flicked my wrist on the way to the door and a pile of cloths appeared for percy along with a note. I silently grabbed my combat boots they were black and were slightly steel toed but nobody could notice because they looked like fashion boots. I quickly slipped them on and was about to walk out the door when I realized 'Oh yeah I have hair' I ran over to the mirror quitly so I wouldn't wake up percy and clare. I realized it was probably a good thing I checked my hair the messy bun was really messy this time. I quickly tore out the elastic and pulled it into a ponytail not caring to brush it I slipped on my camo baseball cap and walked out of the tent. It was only 5:30 and I still had a half of an hour to target shoot I wanted to make sure my aim was perfect even though I knew i wouldn't miss it also calm me down. I held my bow that miterilazed out of thin air and snached a quiver off of a rack and headed over to the targets. I stepped up and took my aim i drew back the string and looked straight down the arrow waiting for the right time to let it go. I put the point of the arrow into the center of the target I let go of the string as I let go of my breath and watched it sore to the Bulls eye and stay in place. I drew arrow after arrow until my quite was empty I looked up at the target only realizing every one of the arrows I let fly where all stabbed through the middle some split in half others really cozy with the one beside it. I smiled to myself thinking smugly 'how he hell did I do that Oh yeah I am artemis like the Greek fucking god' I started pulling my quiver off when I heard one of the girls yell towards me "m'lady are you ready to hunt this morning" I nodded and ran over grabbing another full quiver on my to the group of hunter leaving the camp. We trudged into the woods and we were walking for at least a good half hour when I said in a quiet monotone "ok girls here is good enough get in position" they all spread out climbing different trees at top speed. I started to climb my tree also as soon as I got to the top I signaled to thaila to keep her ears open and she passed it along in a chain from hunter to hunter. We sat there eyes and ears peeled waiting for the right time.

Percy pov

I woke up about 6:30 -7 ish I didn't really check all I knew was artemis was gone hunting and I had clare on my chest fast asleep I didn't know when this happend it just did and I didn't really care. She needed comfort I would give it to her but I did have to get my own daughter today so I decided I would iris message her I seen a few drachma's on the bed side table so I leaned over slightly and picked one up. I knew my mom would be up because either adela woke her up or just to be up early. I used my influence over water to take it out of the air and make it a flat screen over the little sun light falling through the slightly opened door it quickly created a rainbow and I chuckled the drachma into it and said "oh fleecy do me a solid and show my mother sally jackson" a couple seconds later my mom became visible she was holding adela and rocking in the chair I smiled and said "mom" she looked up quickly and as soon as she seen me the worry left her face but then confusion hit her I didn't know what was wrong so I asked "mom what's wrong" she looked me in the eye and said "who is that on your chest" that was the issue I simply said "ahh this is one of the youngest hunters clare" my mom still looked a worried so I explained more throughly " long story short last night she had a bad dream and stayed in artemis and mines tent and I am guessing when Artemis left for hunting the morning she had a bad dream but anyway" she looked at me with pride in her eyes and said "I see now what would you like being as you called me" I smiled and said "well you seem to have my daughter so when do you want me to pick her up" she looked a little sad and said " well when ever you want but did you know she is the cutest thing in existence" I laughed and said "her and artemis are fighting neck and neck" my mom laughed and said "you to are good together I am proud of you" I looked at her and that's when clare started to shift I slightly tapped her shoulder and said "well good morning there sleeping Beauty" she smiled and looked up at me and said "morning to you to" that's when I pointed and said "I would like to introduce you to the one and only sally jackson aka my mother" she smiled and said "hello I am clare sorry for interuppting your conversation" my mother looked at her and said "no no it is fine percy just needs to pick adela up" she looked back at me with confusion and I said "wait you haven't met adela have you" she shook her head so I said "well mom you better get some of those famous blue cookies ready because we need to introduce someone" my mother smiled and laughed and said " yes sir percy sir" I said a quick goodbye and swiped my hand through the message and said "well we better get ready we have somewhere to be" she smiled brightly at me and jumped off the dot and ran to her tent. I slowly got up and seen a pile of clothes at the end of the bed with a note on top I pick it up and read

'good morning babe if I am not back by the time you wake up then that is why your reading this there is a pile of clothes for you and a tooth brush in the bathroom I put it in there the other day hope you have a good couple hours without me I usually get back by 10 ish.

After I read that I had a smile on my face I pulled the shirt out from the pile to only find that it says 'pertemis' on the back so I smile a bit wider and start to get dressed. As soo as I am fully clothed I here a knock on the door so I yell "cmon in" as I turned to brush my teeth I heard little feet padding towards me I quickly grabbed my tooth brush and paste it and start brushing I turn around to see clares but brown eyes staring back at me I bent down and she hugged me and said "are you sure it is alright if I go" I couldn't really talk since I was brushing my teeth so I nodded and gave a little smirk I stood back and finished brush and we walked back over to the bed and sat down I looked in the bedside table drawer and found a pen and a piece of paper and started writing.

'Hey if I am not there where eyou get back do not worry I went to my mom's to pick up adela and brought clare with me I don't know how long we will be since there is blue cookies involved but if I am not back you sure as hell should fash there and join the party

When I finished writing the note I set it on on the table and put on my sheos. I bent down to tie them and I seen clare waiting for me to be ready. I quickly said " wanna piggy back ride" since I am that guy who will gladly make kids happy just to see there smile. She jumped on and we walked out I tilted my head back and said "you ready" she nodded with a smile on her face and we flashed away.

artemis pov

We have been sitting in our trees for almost an hour and and we start to here noises like russling in the leaves sticks breaking and something that sounds almost like snorting. I knew it had to be a deer and I gestured to thaila to get ready and all the other hunter caught on. Our bows were raised and the strings were pulled back to our ears waiting for the animal to show itself. After a few minutes of waiting the deer poked his head out from a bush a gave a singnal to hold while it came out. It started off slow a couple if steps in the wrong direction and then one toward us I was ready for then to just shoot the damn thing but I wanted to be sure we got it. Then it was finally in position and I winked at one of our newer hunters she was about 13 but didn't hunt much she took her aim and on her exhale fired the arrow right into it. We all lowered our bows and climbed down from the our trees. That's when phoebe raised her bow again and shot I didn't know what she shot at but I knew she hit it I looked at her in worry and she said " there was another deer over there I got it" I shrugged and let a small smile tug at the creses of my lips it was kinda funny. But then I realized 'now we have to carry 2 deer back'. So we got situated 5 carrying the lighter deer 6 carrying the heavier deer. We started walking back through the bush. It took about 45 minutes give of take because we were carrying 100+ pound deer across bush terrain. When we got to camp I told he hunters "you girls get them to the freezers I am going to get changed and find percy. They nodded after and I walked off to my tent. As soon as I got in I took my boots off and colapsed on the bed after a few minutes of laying there I sat up and seen that he had read my note and changed his clothes. I was about to get changed from the leather jacket but I seen a note on the bedside table it read

'Hey if I am not there where eyou get back do not worry I went to my mom's to pick up adela and brought clare with me I don't know how long we will be since there is blue cookies involved but if I am not back you sure as hell should fash there and join the party

I laughed the note made my heart feel all warm. I quickly stood up and snapped my fingers changing into something more appropriate for visiting sally it was a pair of ripped jeans with the same shirt with a flanal shirt wrapped around my waist my shoes were just my normal running shoes and I was out the door flashing the where percy was.

Percy pov

When we arrived at my mom's house we were in the middle of the living room where Paul sat on the couch I Seen him jump and almost fall of the couch and say "really percy really" I grinned and nodded my head and said "nice to see you to paul" that's when clare giggled and Pauls eyes shifted to the little girl on my back he tilted his head trying to figure out who she was but I beat him to it "this is clare one of the hunters she wanted to tag along" that's when he smiled and sat up and said "well it is nice to meet you clare would you guys like some blue cookies" of course I nodded my head instantly and booked it into the kitchen with clare still on my back. I quickly shifted her so she was on my lap as I sat down. That's when my mom turned around and almost had a full blow heart attack after I burst into the room and said "percy you need to stop doing that it will be the death of me" me and clare both giggled and that's when my mom noticed clare. She walked over slowly and said "well it is very nice to meet you clare I am percys mother sally" and reached her hand out but instead clare jumped into her arms from my lap. I couldn't help but laugh as my mother almost fell down from impact. A couple seconds later clare climbed back onto my lap and said "so I heard a rumor about amazing blue cookies" that's when my mom jumped up and went to the counter and grabbed a plate and brought it to the table and sat down across from us. Me and clare started mowing down on cookies. I was half way through my second when Paul walks in and sits beside me and clare. Clare tenses a little bit and then relaxes a little in my arms. My mom must have caught it because she gave me a worried looked looked back and mouthed " tell you later" she nodded and we continued to eat. paul grabbed a few and so did my mom but really it was just me and clare who finished them. When the plate was gone I gave clare a high five and said "we are the champs" she smiled and said "heck ya we are" we sat there for a while and then I said "is adela back in my bed room " my mother nodded and I said "hey clare if you go to the end of the hall adela is in that room I will be back in a minute ok" she nodded and slid of my lap and ran down the hall. When we heard the door open I knew she was out of ear shot so I started to explain to my mother "before clare came to the hunters she was abused by her father she is very untrusting towards dude but I guess I kinda help she walked up to camp fire last night in tears and I swore I wouldn't hurt her so I guess she likes me" my mom looked really upset and said "the poor little thing I very proud that you are there for her percy" I nodded my head and said "well I should probably go back there and see how she is doing" they both nodded at me and had slight grin faces plastered on but I slowly got out of my chair and walked down the hallway. As I got closer to my old room I could here giggles I smiled thinking adela made her happy. When I walked in I saw clare leaning on the railing watching adela smile at the funny faces she was making. I walked in a little more and said "clare would you like to hold her " clare turned back and looked at me in awe and started shaking her head profusely I laughed and reached into the crib and took adela out. I held her with one arm and with the other a took clares hand and we walked out to the living room. When I entered seen the love of my life Artemis was standing there tapping her foot. As soon as she seen me a smile appeared on her face and she walked over to me and gave me a little hug and said "well well well little miss clare did you like the blue cookies" she smile and nodded I continued walking over to the couch sitting down I got clare to sit beside and I got her situated holding adela. Artemis was standing there smiling when I motioned her over she was about to sit beside me but I grabbed her hips and swiveled them over to sit on my lap. As soon as she sat down she curled into me and said "I love you percy" I looked at her and said "dito" she hit me and said "you have Been watching ghost haven't you" I looked at her with a sheepish grin and then I heard adela starting to get upset I looked over and clare was looking utterly confused than she started crying really loud for the whole apartment complex to hear I put my hands out and said may i. She nodded and looked really sad adela was still in tears when I heard clare say through a snuffle "I am so sorry percy don't be mad" I looked back at artemis wery and she hopped off my lap and took adela and started bouncing around the room with her to calm her down. So I picked clare up and said "babies cry all the time for no reason she might have been hungry or just mad I ate the last cookie and she couldn't" clare started to whip the away the tears that had fallen. So I picked her up and started bouncing around the room and dancing at the same time I grabbed her hand and with my free arm and pretended to tango she started to laugh and feel better because adela was smiling I walked over to Artemis and adela and looked down at clare and said "see she just needed to dance it out " we all burst out laughing and that's when i realized mom and Paul had been watching us. Mom obviously had her camera out and was taking pictures and then said "you guys are the perfect family" I looked at artemis and then to my mom and said "oh we know" Artemis shook her head and said "oh the narcissism" my mom looked at us in happiness and said "well I have pictures of you three in the chair now I need all four of you" I looked at artemis and shrugged and grabbed clares hand and danced over to the big lazy boy and plopped down and watched artemis walk over to me. She sat down on one side of my lap holding adela and clare was on the other side. I gestured to Artemis to let clare hold adela. She quickly understood and said "clare you wanna hold her" clare looked wery and said "are you sure" I looked down at her and said "yes I am sure why wouldn't I be" I could see the smile coming back to her face as soon as artemis put adela into her arms she cuddled her close and I pulled all three of them closer to me and I looked at the camera my mom was holding in front of us. I smiled my normal cheeky smile and waited for the flash when it finally came I blinked my eyes a few times to get rid of the black dots covering my vision. As soon as I could see again I looked up at my mom and said "when you print these make sure I have copies" she smiled at me and said "sure thing".

Artemis pov

As soon as percy said he wanted the pictures sally had taken I was so happy he wanted pictures of us. I looked back at him and smiled I leaned in and kissed percy right on the lips in front of everyone I didn't care what they thought he had made my day with just that simple comment. When I pulled away sally was looking at us like we just gave her a new car I looked back at percy and just snuggled even more into him and the girls. That's when i heard someone aproached us I looked up to see Paul kneeled down in front of clare. She looked a little worried but percy quickly rudder her back and gave her a smile. Clare seemed to lose the tention she had been harbouring and nodded to Paul for him to speak "I wanted to introduce myself I am Paul percy's step father" he said as he smiled at her and then spoke again "I just wanted to make it clear since I can tell your a little wery around me that I would never hurt you" she could tell he was telling the truth and she smiled. I was so proud of my little hunter for trusting other men that deserved it. She looked up at me and I slowly lifted sleeping adela out of her arms. She slide off percys lap and hugged Paul. His face flashed from a few emotions but the ones that were noticeable were definitely shock and happiness. He lifted her up and swung her around and said "well I am glad you trust me little one" she smiled and giggled. That's when sally said "well I have a great idea that percy might hate" I instinctively smiled and said "what is it" percy smacked my arm playfully and said before sally could even think of words "go ahead and get the photo album" she turned around and ran off to what seemed to be her bed room when she came back she had a pile of books in her hands and a smile was plastered to her face she said "everyone sit down on the couch" I was about to get up when I felt stong arms wrap around my legs and back. I sighed and said "percy you know I can walk on my own right" he chuckled and said "yes I do know that " when he stood up me still in his arms hold adela close he set me on my feet and said "I will put adela in the crib and you my friend should tell thaila you are alright along with me" suddenly I realized I have been gone for hours just being with percy. Percy plucked adela out of my arms and held her in on arm and grabbed my hand with his free one and dragged me down the hall he walked into his room and laid adela down in the crib. When she was all settled he opened the blinds slightly and used his water powers and tossed a drachma in the rainbow he then chanted in a Stern but loving voice "oh fleecy do me a solid and show me thaila grace" I was a little shocked because he didn't use irises name but it worked I looked over and saw a little very histarically worried thaila I spoke softly and said "thaila" she looked up and instantly her worry went away but was replaced by wonder I smiled and said "sorry I am at percys mother's with clare" that's when percy jumped in tackling me saying "don't forget about me arty" I giggled and said "oh and he himself" thaila looked at us and said "well ok then lady artemis next time warn me when your leaving I thought something had happened" I nodded at her and ended the conversation with "do not fret thaila I will always come back now goodbye I will be back in a couple hours if not it was the cookies" she started to laugh as I swiped through the message only to be swept off my feet and into percys arms I let out a shreek as he carried me out. Paul,sally and clare all looked up in worry but settled down when they saw the situation. Percy walked us over to the couch where they were sitting and swung me down from his embrace onto his lap. I looked over and saw clare sitting on Pauls lap while sally held a huge stack of books to be a little more exact they were photo albums. Sally quickly put the stack on the coffee table and only kept one in her lap she opened it and started flipping through. The first pictures were of a little baby just a new born it looked like and sally was holding him tight to her chest he had little black hairs on the top of his head but they were hardly visible. I said a few aww's as we kept flipping the book was mostly just a baby book such as hospital bands and first baby pictures but they were still extremely cute. Soon the book was finished and sally grabbed the next one this one seemed to be a toddler stage or terrible twos+. There were lots of pictures where percy had all the pots and pans out others where her was sitting on the bathroom floor with a towel around him completely dry but sally was not clare and i laughed said "you sure are a son of poseiden" percy smirked but it seemed a little darker than usual. Sally turned the next page and there was a new person in these pictures there seem to be a group photo of them sally and a chubby stocky male with percy in front of them. One hand was gripped on percy's shoulder and by the white of his knuckles and the look in percys eyes in the picture told me it was a firm hand. I looked up at percy and cuddled into him his face was almost pasty white as if reliving the memories. Sally continued to flip through the book most of the pictures were laughable but some seemed more deep than others like one with a small percy standing near the beach in a swim suit he had little red lines coming down his chest but I don't think anyone could tell what they were. That was the last page in the book that's when sally smiled wildly and said "this one is my personal favorite" as she grabbed another book although this one was different it had Greek writing on it that said "percy's demigod years" I smiled and sally began to sift through the pages there was young percy black shaggy hair bright green eyes a lot less muscular than now. There was a photo of percy and grover and some with chiron and some of the campers like the stolls,clarissa and annabeth. I was a little pissed that sally had Annabeth in here until she said "oh wait I ment to get rid of these" as she hastily tries to re move them. That's when percy puts his arm out and grabs his mother's hands clare shook a little bit at the fast moment but other than that seem to be fine. He looked at his mom and said "I'm have a better idea" then looked back to ma and said "we need a few sharpies" I nodded and made them I appear he quickly gave one each and said "clare you do the honors what would annabitch look better with a mustache, a beard or a unabrow" when I heard him say annabitch I was pleased but I slapped him on the shoulder and said "language" he rolled his eyes and said "hey she is old enough to know that she should only say that when annabeth is around" hat earned him another slap although I had a grin while I did it.

Percy pov

After the second slap I seen artemis grin I knew she thought it was funny she was just trying to keep her young hunter young. So I smiled back at her and said "well let's continue" as we turned the page to find d pictures of me and the Seven including annabitch which equaled another mustache from paul and a beard from artemis and unabrow from my mother. I looked up at them in shock and said "family bonding time making fun of people together I love it" they all laughed and flipped the page to only end up with a picture of me from after the final war I was brutally beat up and it was from when I went to see my mother right after I hadn't seen her in almost a year and I didn't care what I looked like. I heard them all sniffle back a tear and I said " guys I am OK I promise you" they a whipped away there fallen tears my mom leaned on Paul for support as artemis clung to me and clare crawled over and sat on me and artemis and snuggled in closer. That's when she grabbed one last book and said "you know what this could be a tie with the demigod book now" she handed it to me and I opened it as soon as I did artemis let out a gasp and said "you did this sally it is amazing" my mother nodded a thanks and I went back to looking it had the pictures of us at the new house sleeping and the ones that she took with out us knowing and the ones from our first visit with adela together with the seven. she said " those photos from today and the weekend will be in there by the end of the week" I smiled and said "you have one problem clare here needs a picture with both of you" as soon i as I said that clare swung her head up and said "really" in an extremely excited tone I nodded and said "whether by blood or not " she smoothly climbed off me and artemis and sat right in between Paul and my mom. Artemis Stood up and grabbed the camera and I walked over to her and said "you do the honors" she snapped the photo and I said "you know eat I never seen a photo of you and them so I think we need to do that also" she gave me a sly smile and I said "mom Paul come here for a second " they looked at me like they were very confused but got up anyway along with clare. I gestured with my finger for her to come to me and she booked it over to my spread arms. I whispered in her ear "ok I need you to take a picture for me do you think you can manage that" she back out of the hug and put 2 fingers horizontal and cross her forehead and motioned them sideways and said "aye aye captain" I looked up and mom and Paul were standing there ready for what was to come i passed clare the camera and stood up from my crouched position. I grabbed artemis's hand walled over to mom and Paul and said "ok I want you to be in a ready position ready for impact" they looked a little nervous but nodded there heads me and artemis took a couple steps back and i nodded at clare for her to be ready. I let go of artemis's hand and we ran in sync and jumped on there backs to have a piggy back ride. I jumped on my mother's back and artemis on Pauls . I was expecting them to colapse from the weight of the muscle and since it was unexpected and I was correct. As soon as they started to fall me and artemis twisted our bodies and let them fall with our lead we both knew this wouldn't hurt us and we didn't want them to be hurt. Finally we landed with a thud I had my mom wrapped up in my arms and artemis had paul. As soon as they realized they were alright they scrambled up and said "what in hades was that" I laughed and said "sorry I couldn't help my self I have been waiting forever to do that" but then I took and breath and said "are you hurt at all because I know that even a small impact ca-" and I was cut off by my mom hugging me saying "we are fine I was just worried of what was actually happening" but that's when i turned to Paul he looked utterly freaked out. I let go of my mom and went over to him and said "Paul are you ok" he nodded and said "ya I am fine but that was way to slick for my liking" and he started to chuckle I went over to clare and said "did you get it" she nodded and her face brightened up even more than possible. She turned the camera towards me to show the picture and she was right she did in fact get it. I smiled and said "yes yes you did" that's when Artemis came behind me and linked her arms through mine and leaned her head onto my shoulder and said in my ear "the hunters will be getting worried" then she paused and said "again" I laughed and said "ya it is starting to get late" I pulled her in front of me and hugged her and said to my parents "hey mom Paul we should probably get going we gotta get back to the hunters" they nodded there heads and she said "you guys better come back again soon" I laughed and said "we will I promise" I let artemis out of the hug and said "I am gonna go get adela" and I scampered off to go retreve my lovely daughter.

Artemis pov

As soon as percy trotted off to go get adela sally cam up to me and said "I never got to ask what did you guys do on your weekend"
I blushed a little bit but hoping that sally wouldn't notice so I said "well Friday we stayed in and watched movies and went swimming in our pool Oh ya there is on in our back yard" I took a breath and began again "well then poseiden visited and percy yelled at him and then we went to sleep  yesterday we went to the hunter and introduced percy as my boyfriend and they took it quite well considering I used to be a maiden goddess" she looked at me with concern be brushed it off and motioned for me to go on "well they were pretty good other than phoebe who got tuned in by me and percy then we had a rug rat sleep in our tent aka you" as I pointed over to the couch where clare was talking to Paul she looked over and put her head down and said "I am sorry lady artemis" I was a little shocked when she said sorry and i said " oh honey there is nothing to be sorry about you had a nightmare percy and I have had plenty of those" sally nods her had and says "well I am glad you to had fun this  weekend" she almost looks pissed like she knows what me and percy were up to but I can tell she is happy we are together. A few seconds later percy walked out with adela in hands she had a smile on her face and was giggling at the faces percy was making at her. I smiled looking at percy he was so great with kids and just making people happy in general even if he wasn't himself. That's when he looked up at me and finished walking to me and his mom he had a big smile on his face and was chuckling in a little monotone and said "well I made 2 of my girls smile now for the third" and he handed adela off to me and raised a finger to his lips and slowly crept up behind clare to where she was sitting on the couch. Once he was right behind her he grabbed her and  flung her into the sky and caught her back in his arms she looked scared and then smiles and said "let's do it again" I looked up at percy he was almost in tears laughing he had just accomplished making all his girls smile and/or laugh and it made it even better a smile was plastered to his face as he started to calm down from laughing. He walked over to adela,sally and me and said "and my work here is done" Paul soon got up from the couch and walk over to the our little group. We hugged them and said lots of goodbyes,love yous,nice to meet you and such. I turned to percy who had clare in his arms and my with adela and he quickly said to his parents "might wanna close your eyes" and with that we were gone in a flash.

Sally pov

I seen the small tint of blush artemis had on her cheeks she was trying to make sure I didn't notice but really when you let you teenage son be alone with out an supervision and no kids around with his girl friend what do you expect. I was a little concerned I knew i he was very mature (most of the time wait scratch that only when he needs to be) ,loyal, he always tries to make the most out of a situation and he would absolutely never hurt anyone. So I brushed it off as she explained what they did I was very intrigued when percy had to put poseiden in his place pose either deserved it or was doing something and percy couldn't hold it any longer and snapped. Although it doesn't happen to offen when you start being a little shit towards percy he will either sass you out of talking or snap and drench you in water. Well she continued and said that her hunters were fine with it and that she and percy had tuned phoebe in and I knew that when they said that they probably shut her up real quick. I smiled at artemis and said  "well I am glad you to had fun this weekend" I was so happy percy had moved on I loved annabeth but really once someone does that it is hard to like them anymore and that is coming from me.
