Artemis pov

As soon as we walked in everything that was nice and calm turned to complete shit percy was bouncing off the walls and that's almost literal clare was joining him in his childish actions but all I could do was smile and laugh along with sally and paul. The girls continued to bake looking up to watch percy whip out a dance move (like the sprinkler or the Charlie Brown if you don't know what I'm talking about YouTube it) As they watched him fail almost everytime which ended in a volcanic eruption of laughter on everyone else part. After percy settled down a bit I know artemis you should be keeping you man in line hahah fuck no if I tried to keep him on a leash I wouldn't have him in the first place plus he is an immortal teen (I don't know if you realized but in like the first chapter they made him immortal and the Seven chose immortality as well) what can I say he needs to let his freak flock fly every once and awhile. I could see percy chatting with some of the hunters mostly the younger ones because they thought he was the coolest guy on earth. Sally had snached adela awhile ago and clare was amungst the hunters with percy. I looked over to my right to notice Paul smiling at percy as he used his hands to emphasize his story. I shuffled over a little closer and started a conversation "Paul can I ask you something" he looked over my with a grin and said "you already did but proceed" I shook my head as if to tell him it was a bad but funny joke as I thought about my choice of words "umm I was uh wondering wh..what was it like to raise percy" I stuttered and stumbled over a few of my words Paul chuckled and spoke in a soft voice "well I didn't do much of the raising part that was all sally I met percy just before the Titan war he was already grown by then" I nodded and he continued "although throughout the few years of me knowing him he has always looked as if life was weighting him down" he paused " I am a teacher and I see kids his age they look so vibrant and ready for the world and I would come home to see percy the total opposite like he had already had enough but ever since you came along that has drastically changed" I felt my heart falter I small smile immediately pushed itself to the limit my blushing spiraled out of control I looked back over to Paul to see him thinking over his next words carefully he let out a small sigh and said "I know posiden would have already gave you the shovel talk and maybe a few other gods/esses have as well but I want you to know" he took a deep breath and continued " I am sure you know how percy treated me when I first met him and I don't know half the things they have been through but I do know that what annabeth did to him destroyed him even more so than any mythical monster could but with you I think If that happened you could consider him six feet under" I looked at him my expression changing as I nodded and spoke from the heart "Paul I'm never gonna hurt him in all reality he is my anchor I know we haven't been together long at all (we also know your being a dumbfuck for loving someone after a month but live your life lol) but I love him with everything in me I can't stand to be away from him he I never understood that some men could be trustworthy but he helped me look at people for a different angle now don't get me wrong I know it is so early in his life and In our relationship but living without him after I have had him in my life like this makes it unbarable to think about" I took a deep breath. Catching my breath from all that talking. I suddenly felt arms snake around my waist as I was pulled in I knew who it was so I went with the flow I looked over my shoulder kissing percy on the cheek and turning back to Paul who was just admiring the cute couple standing I front if him. Then percys deep voice came into play I could tell he had a new yorker accent and I kinda wanted to hear him yell at people with it but then I heard what he said "tell he anything good about me Paul or just that I'm a doorknob" Paul chuckled well saying "well I think she already knows that but I think I made her happy enough with the knowledge given" percy shook his head slightly and said "Paul to much teachery language" while chuckling Paul answers "I know you don't like it gives me an opportunity to either piss you off or annoy you" percy began to laugh as he stated "touché" as we stood there me still wrapped in percys arms watching over the girls and sally waiting for the cookies percy randomly asks a question that I had no clue what it was about. Percy nudged Paul with his elbow as Paul turned to him percy Questioned "how is the group doing" Pauls expression wavered as he tried to tell percy "well when you first left they kept ask where you were and i wasn't any help neither was sally we were both complete messes and then you came back and we told them you wouldn't be coming back to school they were" he stopped as he looked for the word "well they were pissed to put it simply because we gave them no explanation they asked if they could see you and that was an obvious no. They have been pretty down lately" as I listened to Paul I felt percys arms tighten around me as if I were to slip away he nuzzled he face into the crook of my neck as if to hid his sad face from the people he loves to hide his emotions. I don't want him to hide from me I tilted his head up with a finger and spun around in his grasp to face him. He looked in my eyes and I could tell he was hurt he leaned his forehead against mine we held eachother close for a few seconds when Paul spoke again "you know you could always visit them I could call them to my room and you could have a 'reunion' if you will" percy nodded but also brushed it off to talk later. Then the oven dinged we all ran over to the island in the middle of the kitchen percy and I leaned against the counter. Well, percy leaned on the counter I leaned on him but same shit different pile. Sally made quick work of piling them on the plate as some of the girls shoved another tray in I could see percy inching his hand along the counter and before I could stop him he had one in his mouth and he was saying "jsodjfndksnc that's hoooot" everyone burst out laughing I was trying to hold it in but I couldn't him and his cookies you gotta love him anyway though. While the next batch of cookies was coking out of the oven the ones cooked previously had already been eaten meaning if we wanted to have extra We'd be baking all night which I doubt percy or anyone would mind if it was about cookies (during covid-19 instead of getting tolite paper there is me in the store with a cart full of cookies) for the rest of the night seeing as it was late when we arrived we decided to watch family movies for the rest of the night. Sally and Paul were sitting side by side on the couch with a few of the older hunters, the younger ones were sprawled on the ground with blanket galore and bean bag chairs and per and I along with clare were snuggled in the love seat with adela in little swing beside the couch. I was leaning with my back against percy in between hi legs clare was snuggled into my lap and we were matching Disney movies. The little mermaid was on the top of the watch list along with Hercules/heracules. Throughout the night you could tell the girls were getting tired not just because most of them were passed out but they were yawning and trying to stay awake the best they could. So we decided to get some shut eye. Most of the girls that were sleeping we just let them where they were. We brought clare, adela and the rest of the hunters to different rooms that some how appeared. Once the rooms were filled up stairs we ventured to the never explored before basement I mean it was what you'd call a man cave. The furniture was lazy boy chairs or those couches with built-in fridges there was a flat screen TV with an xbox there were a few swords, knifes and even a couple guns. It was your average man cave with demigod accents. There were a few rooms off to the side of the basement the older girls mostly took those along with sally and paul. When everyone was settled percy and I finally lugged ourselfs to bed not even bothering changing we were so tired. We flopped onto the bed percy pulled the warm fuzzy blankets and himself towards me and wrapping himself and the blankets around us I wanted to talk about who him and Paul were referring to but I was way to tired to even try plus I could already hear percy's snores.

Percy pov

I woke up to multiple people screeching my name me obviously thinking damn monsters are attacking I sprung out of bed jumping over the railing instead of the stairs I landed in my stance bringing riptide out. When I realized everyone was up and they wanted me down here I put riptide away and walked into mingle. I heard a few mutter 'I told you so' or 'I knew we shouldn't have done that' I just smiled shaking my head as I walked over sitting on the window seat beside Artemis. She crawled into my lap and cuddle for awhile well we woke up a bit more. It was Sunday we really had nothing to do I was thinking go sight seeing or to the beach but we'd plan later on. Artemis leaned up to look at me after a minute she decided to speak "who were you and Paul talking about yesterday" I let out a little sigh and answered "well before the Titan war I attended Goode highschool I wasn't a big popular kid but I had a friend group then I before the giant war as well they were my same friend group but we moved up in the social ranking probably cause I took no shit from no one and I looked like a monster compared to other guys. A little after that I went missing and our group never really went back to normal as Paul kinda explained so Monday which is tomorrow I'm going to surprise them" Artemis nodded and asked in a small voice " can I come along with you" I chuckled and said "well I was planning on bring you clare and adela and caring the living shit out of them with my family" she smiled at me curling into me more as she said "sounds like a plan" the morning wasn't the exiting we lazed around played a few games such as hide and seek we also found some morning cartoons and found random rooms throughout the house (game rooms , sparring room /training room ,Landry room,garage) the best part about that was I found a very sexy blue Chevy sliverodo extenda cab slightly jacked up. It had the foot lifts under the door and all heated seats. She was full out the best beast I've ever seen. When I got in the beast there was a note taped to the seat that said 'Hey percy I know this is your dream truck I thought it would be more useful than a chick magnet kinda car ;) anyway have fun don't crash into anything unless it is madusa :) - dad' I couldn't help but smile this probably made my day the much better (I may be a girl but I want a sexy truck like that;)) showing artemis the note she frowned and then smiled by the end so obviously my stupid ass braiding had to say "what you don't want to ride in a 'chick magnet'" I got a slap for that but it was almost worth it. It was about 2 in the afternoon when clare walked over and asked "daddy can we go swimming" I smiled knowing she liked swimming almost as much as I did I jumped up off the couch picking up adela and dragging artemis and clare behind me as I booked it out the door. Adela had the biggest smile on her face as I ran with her held tight to me I could hear all the girls,mom,Paul, clare and artemis giggling at my actions. When I reached the pool I looked over at Artemis and said "do the honours" she snapped her fingers as I fell backwards into the pool with adela and clare in my arms. I could see a few worried faces as I did this but I don't think they realized how much of the posiden powers I actually have so I decided I'd put on a big show. I will the water in almost a gizer with clare and adela on my lap the water raised us high into sky as I stood up with the girls in my arns as the water turned us as if we were doing a spin and it changed into steps right to the group watching in awe. I put clare down when we were touchingland and bowed. I got a round of applause a kiss on the cheek and a slap. Gotta love family am I right so I just went along with the slap. After my little show everyone put their suits on and we swam for the rest of the day we came back into the house at about 6:30 and decided that supper should be a thing. When we were all seated at our over extended table I thought about thanksgiving dinner. Mostly the basics stuffing,mashed potatoes, Turkey, pea, carrots, turnup and gravy. I snapped my fingers and it all appeared to say everyone was shocked u think it was the understatement I have never made a meal that big using heatia' blessing so I was shocked to. I looked over at everyone with a big smile as I skipped to my spot at the head of the table. Adela had been fed before everyone sat down which thank the gods because it is really hard to feed some else and feed yourself at the same time. Sitting down and summoning a couple bottles of diet coke before I buckled in to enjoy one of my favorite feasts. Really the was no talking what so ever. It was forks and knives scraping on the plates. By the end of dinner there was not many left over those girls almost ate more than me and that's saying a lot. Instead of being normal people and putting the left overs in dishes with lids we wrapped the bowls in plastic wrap and shoved them in the empty fridge because we are classy. That night after supper mom and Paul announced "hey guys we have to get going Paul has to work tomorrow" we all nodded our heads and said our goodbyes. Before they left Paul and I went over the plan for tomorrow I was exited but nervous at the same time I didn't know what they'd think. I gave Paul another hug as he and mom shuffled out the door I turned towards the girls and said "chocolate and movies sound good" I am taking it as a yes when they run off to the living room. Well I followed them to see a movie already playing it was the muppets (yes i am a teenager and yes I was watching the muppets while I wrote this) I sat down on the couch and everyone left standing as we followed suit of last night execpt this time mountains of chocolate bars sat on the table. (If only life was like this) after a while of watching muppets and singing the rainbow connection with kermit and miss piggy and finger drumming with animal (that's normal right?) We decided going to bed early compared to last night was in best interest. After everyone shuffled off to their rooms and artemis and I put clare and adela to bed we settled in ours. Artemis was laying on my chest forearms pressed to keep herself up as she started to question me "are you worried about tomorrow" I smiled at her and let out a small sigh as I pulled her into my arms and said "I am not so much as worried but I am nervous and exited I might not be as close with them but they kept me sane through the off months" she nodded into my chest as she spoke again "well I'll be there with you it'll be fine plus we get to drive that sexy truck of yours" now that whole this she just said made it so much better not just the truck but my family being there with me to show off to my friends. But I decided to have a little fun even if I do get smacked I said "if only it were a chick magnet" yup I was right I got smacked but this time I stood up for myself "hey you know I'm joking and excuse me but have you ever heard my dad say chick magnet before because I sure as hell haven't" she looked up at me and smiled I held her close again and said "let's get some sleep we need to be up early tomorrow" I gave her a kiss goodnight and slipped in a nothingless dream.

I woke up to being shaken with an indent on the side of my bed and weight on my chest I figured if I didn't get up now they'd call in reinforcements. I cracked my eyes open to only be met with the blinding early morning sun I shut my eyes again and groaned out "shut the fucking curtins" yes I aware that there are youngings in the hunt and now I remember you can't do that percy. I heard a small giggle from above me telling me that clare was sitting on my chest and to my guess artemis was by my side. I slowly sat up trying to keep my eyes closed but help them ajust to the light as well. When I was fully sat up I felt 2 sets of arms wrap around me I did the same with my arms and when they let go I got hit with good mornings "good morning daddy" I smiled the best I could since it was early and said "good morning sweetheart" in a groggy voice then I felt artemis press her lips against my cheek ok now that made the morning much more barable I smile big and said "morning arty" her reply was "morning to you too but we have to get ready so get up" I knew she wasn't joking around so I raised my arms in surrender and said "fine fine I'm up" I brought my hands back down and rubbed my eyes. I pushed my self out of bed I was so out of it but I just walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I came back out I was pretty much ready for the day other than being dressed I had splashed water on my face which refreshed me. When I came out artemis was sitting on our bed she looked up at me and I asked "what time is it" she answered quickly and said "9 o'clock" I shook my head and muttered under my breath "way to early" she must've heard it because she started to laugh. I walked over to my dresser and through some clothes over to the bed. When I finally go dressed I was wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans and a black tight fit shirt with black combat boots I also had a grey sweater but that was for later when it got colder. I looked over at Artemis to see her wearing blue ripped skinny jeans and one of my band t-shirts that was tucked in at the front. At the moment she was looking through MY sweaters to see which one was worth stealing her hair fell around her head as she pulled a sweater down from the rack when she turned around I smirked at her and she rolled her eyes. When I finally got a good glance at the sweater I realized it was one of the ones that had my last name on it. I chuckled as we walked off down the hall to check on clare. She came out just as we got there. She was wearing jeans exactly like Artemis' skinny and ripped but she was wearing a black shirt that said 'daddy's little princess' when I read the I picked her up and said "you got that right" she giggled as I set her on my shoulders and walked into adela's room she was already awake and was sitting there looking at us. Artemis picked her up and got her ready for the day and she was wearing a black onezie that had our monopoly player on it with the archer and the wave displayed. We walked down stairs to greet the hunters about half of them aka the younger half were watching cartoons while the older ones were making break fast. In all reality it was way to early for break fast but that's my opinion cause adela looked like she was gonna through a baby temper tantrum if she didn't get any food and same with the rest of the girls so I just sat down and fed adela a premade bottle (I don't know what the age is for baby food so deal with it ) when the girls finished there breakfast I went over to thaila,atlanta and phoebe. I budged into the conversation and said "you girls take care of the hunt while we're gone ok" they nodded but I continued "if anything goes wrong prey to Artemis,hestia or poseiden you can even I'm I don't care but someone will be here" they all smiled and thaila said "we'll be fine font worry" " I know you will but I worry about the people I love just stay safe please" I said in a pleading voice. Phoebe and Atlanta looked shocked but thaila just smiled and hugged me and adela and said "percy I promise we will be fine and if anything goes wrong we will get help now go have fun say hi to the guys for me" I smiled remembering the time they met thaila oh that was a good day. When she let go I nodded and walked off towards artemis who was waiting at the door with clare by her side. We walked out the door into the garage I opened the back seat doors of the truck and there was a Booster seat and a baby car seat already locked in the. Artemis helped clare Into her seat while I buckled adela in. I climbed into my seat and shut the door I buckled up as well case safety first and put the key in the ignition the sexy beats started up with a purr. I smiled and hit the garage door button when it was fully open I pressed the break in and shifted to reverse. I pulled out of the driveway carfully. And put it into drive and we were off. We turned corner after corner until we arrived at a busier side of the city I took one more turn and seen the school it was the first time since the war I have been back here and it feels pretty good. I pulled into the parking lot right next to Pauls car. It looks a little funny a nice lift-kitted truck beside a beaten prius I mean the hoof dent in the front was all blackjack but still I couldn't help but smirk. I put the truck back in nutruel and looked at all my girls and said "you ready" Artemis smiled I could tell she was a little nervous, clare nodded and said "yuppers" and adela giggle and smiled from her seat. I got out of the truck taking the keys with me. I opened adela's door and unbuckled her seat belt taking her out and resting her on my chest. Artemis walked over to me holding clares hand as I click the lock button. We walked through the parking lot and into the school. I knew where Pauls class room was so I walked straight there with clare and artemis on my tale. Paul had a free period and he said he'd be in his room when we arrived. Just as he said he was there sitting at his desk. He looked up as we entered and took the phone attached to the wall and called the office. " hey lilian can I have can I have Liam west, kaitlyn stover, Alec flem , avery Jennings, Dylan keys and isabelle flem to my room please" Paul waited for a moment and then said "thank you so much lilian" and he hung up the phone he looked over to me with a smile on his face and said "you might wanna give adela to Artemis Alec and izzy might beat the shit outta you" clare shot up from her seat on a desk and said "nobody hurts daddy" I grinned and looked down at her I put my free arm up and said "did you hear about the snakes that escaped the zoo" she shook her head "well they called me and asked for there pythons back" as I flexed my muscle bluged out of my shirt. I looked over at Artemis who was trying to keep her laughs to a minimum but it wasn't working same with Paul he was turning bright red from holding in laughs. I looked back at clare who was on the floor laughing her little heart out I couldn't help it it was funny when the laughter died down I heard a knock on the door and I knew it was then. Clare stood up and stood beside Artemis. When I nodded at Paul he quickly shouted "cmon in guys" the door opened and they all trooped in Liam and avery were holding hands and same with kaitlyn and Dylan that was new I thought. When they were all in they didn't notice us Alec decided to speak first "Paul what did you need us for" Paul smirked and his eyes moved over to us and then back and said "well--" only to be cut off by a scream from izzy she must have seen Pauls eyes and followed them. They all turned towards us and they yelled "PERCY" I smiled back at them and said "hey guys" they all ran over and we're about to dog pile me when kaitlyn yelled "WAIT" they all put on the breaks and made a semi-circle around us they didn't understand til Alec pointed out "percy is this your kid" I smiled really big and nodded. I was about to speak when Liam said "you were gone that long cause you got a girl knocked up" he seemed almost angry about this and I wouldn't blame him but I shook my head and said "no I did not knock up some girl and just leave you guys like that but I had other family issues to deal with that I'll explain in a minute" they all sighed in relef. I just snickered and said " everyone this is artemis my girlfriend and my daughter clare and my other daughter adela" I paused and let it all sink in then as they were about to reply I started again "Artemis the one that looks grumpy is Alec his sister is izzy, Dylan is the tall gangly one kaitlyn is his girlfriend I pretty sure and last but not least we have Liam the fluffy haired dude and avery the one that is glaring at me" I stopped the interduction and smiled at there disapproving faces. That's when avery said something " Okey percy you never had a kid when we were at your house and clare looks at least 6 and you must have got some girl pregnant to have adela" I just laugh and said "oh you poor poor soul I will explain everything ok" i bent down to clare and passed adela to her and said "go hangout with grandpa for a little ok" she nodded and ventured off carrying adela to Paul I looked back at my friends and opened my arms up wide they all came running at me we stood there for a good few minutes until they let go izzy had tears streaming down her face so I pulled her back into my arms to calm her down. Artemis was just watching the interactions with a smile on her face you could see a hint of angry. So I winked and smiled at her. She blushed and turned back to look at Paul, clare and adela. When I let go of izzy Alec and her both slapped me across the face that's when clare stood up and ran over. She two foot jumped onto the desk kicking off it ready to kick so ass until I caught her and said "clare you know I deserved it mom does it to me all the time plus we go the pythons don't forget" she grumbled and smiled at the same time. The group looked very confused until I looked at artemis who was scowling at me. I raised my one arm and said "what I tell the truth" she smirked at me and walked over I wrapped my arm around her and said "how long til your lunch is it" I looked over at Paul who was checking his watch and said "about 15 minutes I can talk to your teachers if you go early" the group smiled as I said "hey Paul what do I have to do to get them out of school the rest of the day" they smiled even brighter and Paul just gave me a glare and said "just call there parents I'll do the rest" I pumped my fist in the air as I put clare down running over to Paul I hugged him and said "parenting at its finest" as I carfully took adela out of his arms he smiled like a true parent and then said " you're a such up you know that" I laughed and said "you only know the half of it" as I walked back to Artemis and clare and said "you guys ready" they all nodded. We walked out of Pauls class room and into the halls. We were walking to there lockers when i said "do you want me to call your parents or do you wanto to do it" they thought about it for a few minutes as we were walking and gave me a pointed glare so i was asuming. I pulled my phone on thanking the gods that leo made the phones so if you didnt have their number you could call them anyway. (Im not makimg the parents convos thats a lot of work) I started off with Mrs.west  she was hesitant at first but said yes, Mrs. Stover said yes immediately knowing how much I was missed by the group. The rest of the parents said yes as well until I got to Alec and Izzy's parents. There dad had answered the phone and already he wasn't a big fan of mine mostly because I was a bad influence on them. After ten minutes of arguing with him he agreed to it as long as I kept them out of trouble and had them home early. To me it sounded like I was taking them out on a date but I agreed to the terms. Clare had been standing with me waiting for multiple parents to agree while Artemis stayed with the group holding Adela. Walking back over i fist bumped Clare and said "parents are dealt with" they all have big smile except Artemis I took a few steps towards her and pulled her and Adela into my embrace and said "Artemis what's wrong" she just shook her head and pressed her face into the crook of my neck and whispered "later" I nodded and said "well who's ready to go"

Artemis POV

As Percy went to go make the calls to their parents I decided I would hangout around the group maybe drum up a conversation or too. But the talking didn't start till Percy was a good distance away from us. Although it was more of an interrogation than a conversation it started out nice and then they became ruthless. "So Artemis what's your last name" this question struck me as odd but they were mortal so I just said "Olympian" (original right I thought so lol) they nodded as  a few more more questions came my way "so how old are you" I didn't really know who was asking which question I was just trying to keep Adela occupied "I'm the same age as Percy 18 I turn 19 in May" (the age may be wrong idc and bitch at google for telling me Artemis' bdays on May 6th) they hummed to tell me they heard "so how long have you and Percy been together" I paused for a moment and just answered the question without specifics "umm not to long" that's when I heard on of them say " why are you dragging Percy down with you" I looked up at them tilting my head to the side as if to say I didn't understand  I still didn't care who said it because they all started saying things from that point on "just because you a teenaged slut who got pregnant does not mean you can pin it all on him" I shook my head trying to keep calm holding Adela close to my chest "Percy's life is already complicated enough and then you take him away from his friends for almost over a year" I was about to break down my eyes stung as tears threatened to spill  "oh look you finally realizing you're no good for anyone" "I can't believe Percy would even go near a train wreck like you" "stay away from him you little slut" I felt tears running down my face I held Adela close to me then I heard the group surrounding me saying happy and nice things I knew Percy must've been back. When I raised my head and he caught a glimpse of my tears he pulled me and Adela into a well needed hug I just wanted to hold him and make everything go away all the pain, the insults. (In all honesty if I were called a slut I would probably say thanks for the compliment hoe ( then again me and my friends are always throwing insults back and forth) after a couple seconds of him holding me close he asked In a soft voice "Artemis what's wrong" I shook my head cause I was not gonna talk about right here right now I barried my head into the crook of his neck as he just held us there I said "later" I knew he understood me so I pulled myself away as he said "well who's ready to go" all I heard from his friends were a chorus of yes's as we walked out of the building and into the parking lot. I felt Percy's are around my waist as we walked into the parking lot his other hand was occupied by Clare as we walked over to the truck Percy passed me the keys and said "you guys get in I be there in a sec" I nodded and walked off with Clare grabbing my free hand as we made walked the rest of the way.

Percy POV

When I seen Artemis like that it made me want to snap of get the answers to al, her problems but I listened to her until we were half way to the truck. I handed off the keys and told her "you guys get in I'll be there in a sec" with a nod she walked off with Adela and Clare. I turned back to the group who had there mouths wide open. I crossed my arms in front of my chest as the guys looked for words. Finally Dylan burst out "is that your truck dude" I nodded as they started to go crazy asking questions galore. I held up one hand and said "shut the fuck up" they all stopped at that moment the Percy they knew never got upset or defensive unless something really bad is happening. Liam let words slide through his mouth without a thought "chill dude" I gave him a glare and shook out of my funk back to my normal spot and said "sorry tired today a little on edge" they all nodded as if they accepted the answer but we both know I had other reasons. "Okey I was thinking of taking you to my house we have a little company right now but as long as you don't piss em off you'll be fine" I turned around and walked off to the truck as they walked to the car they carpooled in today. Behind me I could hear "yes we get to see sally" oh there in for a big surprise.
