Artemis pov

Coming out of my deep sleep eyes still crusted closed i yawned and slowly shifted positions to try to go back to sleep. Soon realizing that the other side of the bed is empty and cold I wrapped a soft fuzzy blanky around me and headed out into the house softly calling percys name. I could hear talking coming from the living room so I decided to walk oh and see what was going on. I looked into the rooms seeing percy sitting on one of the many couches with bean bags sprawled on the floor some being occupied by hunters and others left empty. To make myself known I shuffled over to percy. He looked up at me as I say down in his lap being engulfed in his arms. I rested my head in the crook of his neck as he drew circles on my back. After a few more minutes of slowly waking up I took my head out of the crook of his neck and said "you left me in the really hot but cold bed" he smiles leaning over and kisses the top of my head and replies "I'm sorry hon some of the girls were up so I decided to join them like I said yesterday we are best bros" I let out a small laugh as he continued "I mean most would say bros before hoes that's why I got rid of annabeth and found you" I blushed like a mad man cuddling into his chest more. Throughout the corse of a half hour hunters came out of there rooms and sat down to watch the morning cartoons such as bugs bunny and tweetie,road runner, daffy duck and elmer fud and many more (does anyone else miss the cartoons that were on in the mornings cause I do) half way through wiley cayote getting beaten to a pulp and reviving himself all of the hunters made it known that hunger had entered the room. So venturing in the kitchen with a few hunters behind me and percy we started to cook a homemade brunch or as homemade as you can get with boxes of things from the freezer. Thaila started the hash browns ,phoebe was making the sausages, I was going to start the eggs later on because they don't take as long and looking over at a shirtless percy as he started the bacon. Not realizing he was shirtless before my eyes wandered up and down his abs as I sat on the kitchen beside him. He was moving the bacon around when he looked at me he noticed me stareing when he pulled out the old "like what you see because I sure do" it made me blush and both thaila and phoebe looked at me with confusion I laughed at him and then really quick put on a Stern expression and said "that's not funny" he cocked and eyebrow and went back to cooking saying "like I said before "you know the expression on your face and the look in your eyes are completely different"" I looked at him with a blank expression and I said "really you and your remanissing" he chuckled as he flipped the spitting bacon turning towards the girls in an almost mocking tone "you know what is so much more bad ass than killing monsters on a daily" they looked at him with a touch of anger and confusion but mostly curiosity then he spoke again "cooking bacon shirtless that's what" at that exact moment grease spit at him he yelped and said "fuck"  turning to the girls who were almost on the floor laughing he spoke "I told you bad ass it hurts like hell" there laughter continued throughout cooking breakfast. When I was finally aloud to start cooking eggs the hunters at artemis piling into the kitchen taking seats in the chairs leaving 4 spots and the baby seat open . Not even realizing where adela had been I almost smacked myself for it but then a hunter came in with her and clare following behind. They took there seats placing adela in her high chair. Percy put a huge plate load of bacon and sausage on the table and then set the hash browns there as well. Coming back to me he wrapped his arms round my waist and said "you fill our plates I will finish making the eggs" I nodded knowing I would be defeated if we bickered about it. I walked over to the table filling mine and percys plates While he finished off the eggs putting the plate on the table as well. He then went to the Cuboard getting the ingredients and then making adela's formula. Sitting down beside me he had adela in his arms as he fed her quickly before digging into his own plate. I looked at the table and seen there was so much food left and the hunters seemed to be getting full I looked back at percy about to ask him what we'll do with all the food when the doors opens and the rest of the seven minus annabeth but including cally walked in. The table seemed to expand as they entered the room and took seats on the now visible extra chairs. They piled their plates digging in as well. My guess was the percy had this planned this morning and didn't inform me. Which I didn't care about it was fine the hunters didn't seem to care either. I just went along with it. Soon finishing brunch assuming percy didn't want to have to do like 30 dishes I snapped my fingers and put them back where they belonged and clean. Most of the hunters were dressed execpt for a few that either didn't care to get dressed or didn't care if the seven saw them in sweats presuming that my guess was correct in percy and maybe a few of th hunters knowing the seven was coming over. Getting  out of my seat I cut off percy from a conversation between him and Jason by saying "i am going to go get changed I'll be back in a few" and kissing him on the cheek a ran off grabbing my blanket that was left behind on the couch. I brefly skimmed through the drawers in our room finding what I was looking for I threw on the oversized band t-shirt, snapped my fingers and a pair a of tight fit skinny jeans materialized on me. I tucked in the front of the shirt and le t the back hang loose, I tugged on a pair of socks almost falling over in the process (I hate when that happens). Snapping my fingers one last time to fix my hair and brush my teeth as a slide down the hallway with my socked feet I stopped right out side the opening leading to both the kitchen and living room. Seeing all the Girls including piper, cally and hazel they all seemed to be chatting some braiding hair I guess that was a big seller throughout the hunt having your hair braided. Then I heard a few voices from the kitchen. Catching the last of a sentence intrigued me to keep listening in "—a maiden goddess"  heard one of the boys say not knowing the first part was I continued to listen in it was obviously about me so I don't know if it was eavesdropping or not (does this happen to anyone else than you get bitched at for asking ). Then I heard Percy's laugh and I peaked around the corner. Percy was holding Adela as he answered the question that I must have caught the end of "I don't know how I got her either she picked me which I am not mad about I am the luckiest guy in the world" I smiled and turned back so I wouldn't get caught. I slid down the wall in hopes to hear the rest of the conversation "how sweet and touching but how did you get Artemis the man hater/Castrator, she turns most men into fuzzy little foot stools" I smiled but it was a weak one I was starting to realize that some boys can be a man and not let there 'manliness' get in the way but I was still cautious but can you blame me. I heard a couple people pushing the answer out of him I think he finally broke when he said "fine , fine" he took a deep breath and said " firstly, she doesn't hate every man but she has her reasons for it and I agree with her and her reasons but that's her own story to tell second, she doesn't turn you into a foot stool it is a  jackalope which Is probably better than a  Guinea pig" he pauses once again and then says " well not that is anything that concerns you but thunder thighs got fed up with Artemis being maiden pretty much said if she wants to stay alive she had to choose someone or he would but if she chose to stay maiden he'd chuck her off Olympus" he stopped and let it sink in hearing a few murmurs about 'Zeus and how could he do that' then Percy began to finish he story "long story short she came to me I gave comfort she said she didn't really trust anyone except me so here we are" that's when I decided to show myself I slide into the kitchen making an entrance kissing Percy's cheek when I skidded to a stop and said "so you'd prefer a jackalope over a guinea pig" with a smirk he nodded "yes yes I would" he said "being able to roam is so much better than in a cage with pirates" he gave a little shiver as if it gave him the hebbie jebbies. I looked back at the boys who looked very confused but amused at the same time I glanced at Percy and said "you didn't tell them did you" he chuckled and said "I would prefer you to tell them I want to see the reactions" I quickly grabbed a seat beside Percy and started into my story or his story whatever you wanna call it. "Well longer story short on Percy's quest to save  Grover and get the Golden Fleece they stopped on circe's island" i paused trying to see if the boys had put two and two together they didn't so I continued "she didn't seem to like men very well so she turned them into guinea pigs Percy along with a bunch of pirates from earlier ages" that's when they all burst out laughing at the thought of Percy being a guinea pig. Leaning over I rested my head on his shoulder grinning I looked over at Adela and seen she was giggling too. I look back to Percy and meet his eyes he gives me a smirk and questions "so did you like what I said when you were eavesdropping" I shook my head in amusement I knew I should have hid better but I eventually answered "yes I did like what you said about me" he chuckled as we swooped back into the boys on going conversation that I was not listening to.

Percy POV 

It has been awhile since I had a good chat with the boys although nico didn't come it was pretty good. Especially, them wondering how I got the man hating goddess to be my girlfriend I can't believe it myself so I hardly gave them a qualified answer. Although they did find out I was turned into a rodent I wasn't mad because the looks on the faces and there laughters was so hilarious I couldn't help but join in. After a few minutes of random chatter and my goddess relaxing with her head on my shoulder the chatter in the living room seemed to grow louder. Obviously a little curious I listened into make sure everything was ok.  "Clare don't" was the first thing I heard being as Clare was very important to me my curiosity held there. Then I heard a couple minutes more voices poured through the air. "Clare there talking I can do it for you" someone piped up sounded like piper (hahaha bitch isn't that funny ya no that's what I thought) then I heard what sounded to be Clare but it could have been one of the other younger hunters as well until I heard the last part "please he does it better I want daddy to" (bitch ass hoes get your minds outta the gutters ( your welcome)) I heard a couple more voices before I intervened "but Clare he is talking to his friends right now he probably would be upset" I was kinda upset by that "Percy would not be upset but he is talking to his friends" ok that's when I decided it was enough. In a soft voice I spoke "Clare come here" the boys gave me a funny look probably from not paying attention to them or just randomly calling her hear, Artemis smiled probably hearing the conversation because she has amazing hunting ears. A moment later a heard little feet padding the way across the hard wood floor towards the kitchen. I handed Adela off who was still in my grasp when Clare came into the room. She came up to me slowly once she was in arms reach I lifted her onto my lap and said "you know I wouldn't have been mad if you'd come in and asked me whatever it was" I smiled at her and she cheeks started to rise into a smile the same as mine. She looked me in the eye and the  turned back to the door where a couple of girls including thaila, hazel, piper and cally were standing and said "I told you so" they all shook there heads and smiled. She turned back to me and said in a small voice " can you do my hair like yesterday" I smiled a little bigger at the fact she wants me to do her hair again instead of anybody else so I nodded my head and spoke softly "yuppers, piper can you help her get the brush and all that jazz" piper nodded and began to walk off just as Clare jumped off my lap to lead the way the boys looked at me smiling and wide eyed and Leo started " bro you know how to do hair can I have a Mohawk" I laughed in between my reply "well I could if you wanted the sides of your head shaved" Leo's eyes widened even more as he shook his head back and forth saying "no no no" that was even more hilarious " tell you what I'll get piper to straighten out your curls and I'll braid them" Leo brightened up and said "hell ya" looking over to cally who rolled her eyes at her annoying but sweet boyfriend.

( dudes literally I know this shit has nothing to do with the story well it kinda does but I feel like percy is already the guy to blow everybody away with something unexpected so like braiding hair why not and Leo is just Leo)

A couple minutes later piper and Clare came back out of the hall with a pile of stuff in there hands throwing it onto the table, standing up and letting her sit on the chair as i brushed, parted, weaved and finally tied the hair back with a silver elastic. Chatting with everyone that had come into the room. One conversation struck gold though. Clare sitting on my lap after braiding her hair looked up to me and ask "how did you meet everyone I only know a little bit" I look at everyone giving them smiles and started "well I met hazel and frank at the Roman camp when I lost my memory and I met Jason, Leo and piper when they came to pick us up to start the quest of the seven" I smiled remembering I then turned to cally and said " I met cally when I exploded a volcano and was blown to her island where she was held at the time" I turned to thaila and said " I met pine cone face when she was turned into a real girl" (Disney reference if you don't know what I mean then what the fuck bro) that I got a smack for I then turned to phoebe and Artemis and said " well I met phoebe when I high jacked her quest to save Artemis"  motioned for the younger kids to plug their ears and they did "and Annabitch from atlas" they unplugged their ears to continue to listen " well phoebe was supposed to go but the damn stools got her" then Artemis i met her on that quest when she was holding the sky I took the sky from her so she could fight" I smiled at her and then earned down to Clare's ear and said "don't tell her this but I thought she was beautiful then and now" she giggled and in the process getting funny looks From everyone and then one of the hunters asked "what did you just tell her" she smiled at them did a small 'whatever' motion wit her hand and said "oh nothing" making most of us laugh And Artemis saying " she got that from you I hope you know"  i snickered cause I knew she was precisely right. Watching over my entire family like this having the seven here having the hunters even tho I am not fully trusted it makes me feel hole makes me feel like I was never cheated on an my whole life has been great ya that last one was obviously a lie but they all have a place and my heart and I will always try to protect them from danger of any kind. Even through this whole thing came from almost being pressured I am so glad it did I wouldn't have anything I would be filled with nothingness this whole situation made me stronger especially for my family. Thinking of these things always came naturally to me other than feeling strong I always feel weak like I let everyone down I couldn't protect everyone. The people that needed me I wasn't there people like Charlie,bianca,zoe,silena,and many more they all took a toll on who I thought I was but I always thought they were the hero's. Knowing all that came for a good reason helps me sleep at night. Shaking my head swiftly out of these dark thoughts to listen in and laugh with the rest of my family wishing a few more of them dead and alive could witness and be apart of this moment right now. The next couple hours passes and the gang slowly left us to our own. I decided it was now or never to ask clare so leaning over artemis' shoulder and resting my chin on it while speaking softly "is it time to ask clare" she turned around meeting my gaze with her in which was filled with worry. I placed my hand on her cheek and my arm wiggled till her waist was sucer in my grasp and I pulled her close planting a kiss on her forehead whispering into her braided hair "it'll turn out for the best our lives are on track at the moment let's just live in the moment while we can" (carpe diem) She nodded and pulled away as she called clare away from the group of girls chattering away. A few girls raised their head and cocked and eyebrow as clare gave a worried look as of she did something wrong. Artemis's mile brightened as clare moved closer to us. Taking clares hand I started to walk down the hall with artemis grasping my other hand as she was towed along. Entering artemis and I's room I sat clare on the bed and put up sound barriers made out of water being as adela was having a cat nap like always and over exitment/enragement can cause screaming. Looking back over to clare and artemis. Artemis had kneeled in front of clare I followed suit and we began to explain our plan "well clare we wanted to ask you a few questions is that ok" she looked at us as if we would be mad at her. Her eyes became a little glossy as she nodded her head. Quickly relizing she was a little scared/worried she did something wrong I scooped her up and sat on the floor with her curled up to me as I whisper small things into her ear telling her 'it was ok'. She finally lifted her head up and I began to speak with artemis right beside me still rubbing her back "well you see us as mother and father  figures am i correct" she nodded sheepishly I just held her tighter and said "well me and artemis had an idea only if you agree with it of course" she looked at both of us with a confused expression. I nodded to Artemis to finish what I was trying to say "we want to adopt you" she said with a little enthusiasm

No one's pov

Over the next couple weeks percys life has been normal well  as normal as it can be living with a huge group of hunters that normally hate men. Artemis and percy have been planning a trip to go check on the new York house along with the girls. This includes inviting sally and Paul over for a day to meet the girls and tell them that there is a new addition in there family.

Artemis pov

Keeping the hunt occupied and alive plus planning our small excursion has taken a toll on me I have been losing sleep worrying over the small details. Yes I know it is just going to the house but we want to visit some places in Manhattan and other places throughout new york. I think percy has noticed because he has taken the reins on this which I am so happy about. Only knowing him as my boy friend for a month and a half has been one of the best several weeks of my life. He is so loving,sweet and cares about everyone. At the moment the girls have no idea what our plan is they know we are moving to a different place but not knowing where is making them go crazy. I think they might even be sending smaller demons to get information out of us. That's when i heat little feet patting into my tent. I think I was correct by thinking they would send they Young ones to crack us plus my own adopted daughter Oh that's a dirty game. "Mommnmmmy" clare drawled my name to make her seem more pleading and continues "can you pwease tell me where we are going to camp next" she used her whiny voice and it was really hard to stay with my answer and not crack and let her know. So I smiled at her and said "we are going crazy" (your parents ever say that? No, I'm the only one not surprising) she sighed and walked out saying "i tried" I snickered at her tactics as I walked out of the tent behind her wanting to find percy. I took a quick scan over camp and spotted him talking with a younger hunter in the arena. He looked to be giving her tips on fight which I thought was super cute. He was kneeling in front of the girl showing her how to hold the slender blade most would call a dagger. When I approached I said "percy can I borrow you for a second" standing up to only tower over me he said to the small hunter "keep practicing and you'll get it I promise" I smiled knowing with him as her teacher she sure as hell will know that trick soon. I laced my fingers with his as I dragged him to the hearth to sit and talk about our upcoming adventure. Percy pulled me close and said "so when do you wanna leave" I leant my head on his chest and said " would tomorrow be ok I wanna get a good sleep tonight and be on our way" he nodded and said "deal how about we gather the girls for an early supper since it is 5:30 and relax the rest of the night" I pulled myself up an kissed him on the cheek and as I pulled away I said "that sounds like an amazing idea" standing up with him in tow we walked casually to the dining tent and let the horn blow signalling in was time for supper. Soon the hunters were pialing into the tent as percy snapped his fingers and the food appeared for us to dig in and sacrifice food to our godly parents or artemis. The food was extremely good the mashed potatoes cover in gravy, medium rare steak, garlic rolls and last but not least soft fully cooked carrots and of coruse milk for adela. Finally finishing our delicious meal after many refills we all disburse some relaxing by the campfire others off the the side having conversations and some going to bed. Percy, adela  and I strolled around camp til we came to the entrance of our tent. We walked in and right through the door to her room and tucked her in as soon as we entered our room both of us calaspsing onto the bed percys arms found there way around my waist and he pulled the blankets over us as we drifted off to sleep in preparation for tomorrow.

Waking up over the past few weeks has been a lot more enjoyable more so because the girls decided that it is pointless to try it. Rolling over onto percy I kissed his neck trying to wake him up I heard him groan and wrap his arms around me trying to go back to sleep. I kissed him again this time in the lips. This time it got him up groggily as he said "really sleep is supposed to be Friend not an enmy" I giggled and said "we have to get ready to go" groaning as he rolled over to the side of the bed with me clinging to him he stood up and made his way to the door to greet the girls. You see the girls have stopped trying to wake us up in the morning but they came up with a new idea. They would wake up before us and watch cartoons in our tent living room til we get up. I am still not sure what time they get up being as percy and I are usually up at 6:30 but that's their choice. As percy got to the door he swung it open and took a few steps out as the girls turned to see us. Percy quickly said "get packed up ladies" and tuned around back into our bed room slamming the door behind him and through us on to the bed asking "a few more minutes please" see I am not one to give in but ever since percy came along I have been finding my self compromising instead especially in this moment "oh baby how about we stay in bed a few more minutes but no sleeping" he nodded his head as he crawled on me kissing my neck a couple times and then dropping beside me and pulling me to him.

Percy and I we both dressed and I had adela strapped to the front of me .we  were getting ready to take down our tent. Most of the girls had theirs down. The only things that really needed done was the arena and dining tent which I sent percy away to help. Our tents were pretty cool you just had to take the poles out of the ground and let it fall once the tent was laying on the ground it had a botton on the side that contracted it so you only had to stand it up when using it . Although the other tents have more poles which makes it harder to put down plus the arena had so many weapons that the younger ones should stay away from it until there weaponry control is better but for now percy can get it done. When he returned his shirt was pretty wet from sweating so I flicked my fingers and cleaned him up as he gave a nod of gratitude. The hunters soon crowded around us holding their back packs and drawstring bags with their personal items and tents. Percy and I quickly explained that we are going on a trip but left out all details to what we were going to do And with that we started our walk. I could hear the girls questioning about where we were going but I just kept my smirk on and held percys hand.

Percys pov

About half way through our walk like always I felt a small tug on my shirt. Knowing who it was I picked up clare and rested her against my chest as she clung to my shirt just as adela is to Artemis. We kept our pace and soon arrived in new york. The girls all looked extremely confused but we just kept walking down busy streets. Occasionally we'd get odd looks like two 19 year old walks down the street with a couple dozen kids ya strikes you as odd but we ignored those. We also got a couple guys looking at the older girls which caused those poor dude's  a broken wrist each but that fased non of us because we kept walking. After a couple turns we arrived on my block. Walking up to the house I walked right in sleeping clare and all in my arms dragging artemis in as well. The girls looked a little worried and confused but then thaila spoke up "percy is this your new you house" she Questioned and I just smirked and nodded. Now that sent the over the edge. They loved exploring new things even if it wasn't a new forest it was something to explore as the group disbanded into different sections of the house. Slipping into the living room myself followed by artemis as I laid clare down on the couch and sat on the floor near the window. I created a little bit of mist and seach my pocket for a drachma chucking it in saying "oh fleecy do me a solid and show me sally jackson please" the picture showed up and just as I was about to speak I tuned into what was going on mom and Paul have a 'cute' make out session on the couch so obviously I had to yell "I am in no need of half siblings anytime soon" they quickly jumped apart looking as flustered as ever and my mom just gave me the look that every teenage gets everyone knows the look. That's when she realized that I was the one messaging her so she said in a calm voice "so percy what do you need" I crack a smile and said "well I wanted to tell you artemis and I are in town and we have a surprise for you" she looked taken aback and said "percy you know I don't want you to go out of your--" I didn't let her finish "no mom it is fine plus this is kinda a vacation and we wanted to spend some time with you so" she smiled brightly and said " ok tell me your plan" so I started to explain a little bit "well I was thinking you two come over here we can make some blue cookies and what not and tell you out the surprise maybe be swimming and you could probably crash here tonight" she smiled and nodded and said "ok when should I come over " I thought about it for and second and said "artemis what time should they come over" she laughed as I looked up and over the mist to meet her gaze "maybe in an hour and a half if that works for you sally" I looked back to mom as she nodded and said "see you then" before swipping through the mist. Since I was done with that I went to sit on the couch with adela,artemis and clare but heard my name being yelled from up stairs I looked over to Artemis and smirked as I ran up the steps to see what they needed. That's when i heard my name being called again I walked into my room where the hollers were coming from only to see a couple of the older hunters. I sat on my bed while the hunters stood around me. I looked at them cocked an eyebrow and asked "what do you need" first to speak was thaila "I told them about the prank on Zeus and we need your help with another" and that's when another hunter she looked to be newer than thaila and Atlanta but still the same 'age' and she asked " also you have a huge box's of condoms with like 50 why" I smirk and said " have you ever heard of the term 'the more the merrier'" thaila started to laugh and the rest aka phoebe,atlanta and the other one all gave me looks I just smiled back. I turned to thaila and said "what kind of prank" she shrugged and said "something that will piss dad off" I thought for a minute and then my eyes lit up and I said I've got two ideas" they listened to both my ideas and picked the last one and to save the other for a different occasion. I grabbed one of the condom packets and ripped it open. I quickly blew it up and let the air back out to stretch the 'balloon'. The girls looked at me with shook on how I was so efficient but then again they probably hated that to. We quickly ran down stairs cause a bunch of stares from the other hunts especially cause we were giggling which made artemis say "what are you doing" I looked back and said "pranking Zeus" obviously she wanted to join so we pour milk into the condom and tied it off then grabbed a stick note along with a marker and said "try some it is legendary" (I should be put in a mental Institute for this freakishly funny prank and I really want to do it to someone) and asked artemis to send it to him. After a few minutes of waiting patiently we heard the giant rumble in the sky notifying us that he got the message. After laughing for a solid 10 minutes I realized mom should be here soon so I gather the girls and artemis and I told them a plan "you girls are gonna hide around the house when my mom comes ok then you can just start walking around like it is nothing if you scare her make sure she is ok afterwards but other than that we are good" they all nodded there heads to tell me they understood as they started to buddy up and run off. Only the five of us were left in the living room thaila was holding a sleeping clare I was hugging artemis and adela from behind with my chin resting oh her shoulder when my demigod instincts kicked in due to me hearing car doors slam. Tilting my head towards artemis' ear I whispered "there hereeee" she giggled and we moved over to the door and opened it greeting my mom and Paul in surprise. They looked a little shocked but then smiled as they walked in. She took a look through the room and her gaze landed on thaila who was still standing in there holding clare. My mom seen her and ran like no joke she just dropped her hand bag yelled "THAILA" as she erupted into a run and flung her arms lightly around thaila and clare thaila wasn't stunned by this she just patted her back with one hand and said "hey sally". She finally let go after a good minute of hugging her when she turned around and asked "is thaila my present cause I am not complaining" I laughed and said "wow mom I feel the love but she kinda is but we have a better one" my mom nodded with a huge smirk spread across her face but then a group of hunters walked by and her confusion just filled her face took out the smile on her face. I smiled and nodded my head to Artemis who I was still hugging from behind. My moms smile just returned when she realized I brought the hunt with me. I unwrapped artemis as I gave Paul a small hug and walked over to mom and gave her a hug as well. After saying a couple hellos I walked out of the  room and yelled "HUNTERS GET OVER HERE SHE FIGURED IT OUT" you could hear a loud groan sprawled across the house as the hunters came out in small groups. I walked back to my fam jam and they all gave me looks like 'really percy' I just shrugged because ya really. Just then a group of younger hunters came in and said "how did she figure it out" I chuckled and said "she's a smart woman" that's when mom held up her hand and said "lies you gave it away and you know it" I smiled and started acted hurt as I said "i would never" they all gave me a glare and I said "fine fine believe what you'd like" they didn't believe execpt one little monster who woke up half way through the conversation. Clares head was raised with a big smile on it saying "I'm on daddy's team no matter what" I laughed reaching my arms out to her as I said "heck ya you're" she leap out of thaila's arms and landed perfectly in mine. Mom and Paul were standing there with big smiles on the faces until it clicked on what she called me. Both their faces went back and forth through different emotions. Most were happy ones others were confused and I think one was upset or mad but I could be wrong. And finally it landed on happy with a tinge of worry which is understandable. I smile brightly chuckling at both there reactions. I was about to tell them about this and how it happend and all that jazz when mother goose came barreling at me wrapping clare and me in a hug while artemis and adela and much to thaila's protests they were dragged into the hug by paul. The hunter's then came flying through the air from every direction into the hug we probably looked like the sleeping pile in the movie the crowds because all of a sudden our hug started to tip . Artemis protecting adela with her body and me doing the same with clare I mean she may be older but still I'm as heavy mother fucker by how many cookies and junk I eat on a daily I should be obese (hahaha same) and I mean no little girl wants to have over a hundreds ponds flattening them (thinks about TV show 'my strange addiction') drifting out of my thoughts I realized everybody started to burst out laughing I had to join in because what would any normal person in that situation do (if you were no al this wouldn't happen) after detaching from our hug I had to offer the one thing nobody could pass up wait for it (drugs?) "Who wants blue cookies" (same thing) I asked trying to keep calm but they are blue cookies it is very hard to stay calm but I guess everyone else felt that way as well because they cheered and we pranced off into the kitchen. With clare sitting on my shoulders I held her legs with a hand and the other reached out to Artemis' free hand as she carried adela. Walking into the kitchen last to see my mother telling some of the hunters to grab certain items out of the cupboards. Other hunters were talking to Paul in a civilized manner and the rest of the girls were siting on the counters or sprawled on the floor in groups talking about whatever immortal girls talk about. I looked over the sence holding artemis in front of me with my daughters my family making my favorite cookies plus the hunters who I think of as my family as well or as a father figure to all of them. Taking it all in as if it was the last moment I would ever have I kissed artemis on the temple and rubbed adela soft little head I leaned my head up and looked at clare who kissed my forhead as I said "look at our family" she smiled like there was nothing in the world could take it away and as long as I am here that will never happen and I know when I am gone someone or something will always protect them ( a blue hair brush) pushing those thoughts away I walked in.
