It's been 2 weeks now and as Tania said Alisha needed to take a pregnancy test. She took the pregnancy strip and went inside the washroom.

As she finally completed the entire process of taking a pregnancy test she peacefully stood there waiting for the result.

Before taking a look at the pregnancy strip she closed her eyes and muttered positive words.

After taking a deep sigh, she finally looked at the pregnancy strip which showed a positive mark.

She leapt off the bathroom floor, screaming with delight. Tears of happiness streamed down her face as she whispered, I'm going to be a mom!

She quickly clean her hands and went outside the room searching for her father.

She saw that her father was reading the newspaper while sitting on a chair at the balcony.

She quickly rushed and screamed in excitement.

Alisha:-Papa papa you won't believe what happened?

Mohit:-What happened beta?

Alisha:-Papa i am pregnant. (She said showing him the pregnancy test)

Mohit:-Really. Oh my god i can't believe it.

Alisha:-You are going to be a grandpa.

Mohit:-Yes. Oh god i am so happy.

Alisha:-I will be a mom papa. This is the best thing ever happened to me.

Mohit:-Yes. But bete now you have to take care of your health.

Alisha:-I know papa.

Mohit:-I suggest you should take leave from your work.

Alisha:-Not now papa. Maybe when i will reach the 7th or 8th month of my pregnancy then i might but right now i don't think so i need to take a leave.

Mohit:-Ok. If u say so. It's all your decision but still bete take extra care of yourself.

Alisha:-Yes papa.

Mohit:-Acha toh aaj itne time baad hamare ghar mein koi khush khabri aayi hai toh celebration toh banta hai.

Alisha:-Yes i guess i should cook something special today.

Mohit:-No no Alisha. You won't do any work from now on. We will order something from outside today.

Alisha:-Ok. That sounds great.

Mohit:-Waise you didn't tell me who was your donor?

Alisha:-Oh it was Shubman Gill.

Mohit:-Shubman Gill, the cricketer?

Alisha:-Yes.

Mohit:-But wasn't he your client for divorce?

Alisha:-Ye but he himself asked me that if he can be my donor. So i said yes.

Mohit:-That's amazing. So did you gave him the big news?

Alisha:-Oh yes i should tell him, but one second i also need to tell mom. She doesn't even know about all this.

Neha:-Haan bolo kya hua.

Alisha:-Mom i need to tell you something.

Mohit:-What the hell is this Neha? At least listen to her once.

Neha:-Please tum toh chup hi raho. Tum iski baaton mein aa jate hoge but mein nahi aaungi. Aur waise bhi tumhare pyaar ne hi isse sar chadake rakha hua hai.

Alisha:-Mom please. Jaisa aap soch rahe ho waisa kuch bhi nahi hai.

Neha:-Toh kya hai?

Alisha:-Mom i had this baby through an IVF procedure.

Neha:-Oh please Alisha. You can fool your dad but you can't fool me ok.

Mohit:-Enough is enough Neha. I can't believe that you even thought about this.

Neha:-I don't care. I know only one thing that she can't live in this house anymore.

Mohit:-Are u out of your mind. She is our daughter and she is pregnant right now.

Neha:-I don't care.

Mohit:-Neha pls don't test my patience ok.....

Alisha:-It's ok Papa.

Mohit:-No beta....

Alisha:-No papa please. You don't need to fight for me because i am leaving this house.

Mohit:-No beta this is your house.

Alisha:-No papa i can't stay here anymore. I am leaving.

Alisha went inside her room and started to pack all her things. Her eyes filled with tears. As she was packing her bags, she heard her phone ringing. It was a call from Shubman.

ON THE PHONE CALL📞:-
Alisha:-Hi Shubman.

Shubman:-Hey Alisha. I just called u to tell that's it's been 2 weeks since we completed the IVF procedure and Tania told u to take the pregnancy test. So did you take it?

Alisha:-Oh yeah i forgot to tell u i am pregnant.

Shubman:-Really? Oh my god i can't believe this. Congratulations yaar. Oh god this is the best news ever i have got. Did u tell your parents about this?

Alisha:-Umm yeah.

Shubman:-Oh so what did they say?

Alisha:-My father is extremely happy about this but...

Shubman:-But?....

Alisha:-But my mom she didn't accept this.

Shubman:-What do you mean she didn't accept this? I can't get it.

Alisha:-She thinks that i had this baby by slee...sleeping with someone.

Shubman:-What the hell? I mean how can she even think about that.

Alisha:-It's ok Shubman.

Shubman:-So what now?

Alisha:-Umm i have decided to move out of my house.

Shubman:-What....why?

Alisha:-Shubman i can't stay in such environment. It's neither good for me or for the baby.

Shubman:-But where will you stay?

Alisha:-Umm i don't know...i might live in a PG for a few days then i might rent or buy an apartment.

Shubman:-No no Alisha. You are pregnant, you are with a baby and i don't want you to struggle so much.

Alisha:-So what can i do Shubman, i don't have any other choice.

Shubman:-I have one idea.

Alisha:-What is it?

Shubman:-Stay with me.

Alisha:-What? No i can't stay with you Shubman.

Shubman:-No Alisha. You have to stay with me. I can't see u living with strangers or alone somewhere and plus you are pregnant. You need to be taken care of all the time.

Alisha:-No Shubman. I don't want to be a burden on you.

Shubman:-No Alisha. You are not a burden on me. You are my friend and also....

Alisha:-Also....

Shubman:-I would like to stay close with the baby.

Alisha:-But Shubman what about your parents?

Shubman:-Oh they won't say anything and plus they went back to Mohali yesterday, so there's no one with me right now. Trust me Alisha, you won't have any problem here.

Alisha:-Ok.

Shubman:-Great.

Alisha:-I'll be there in an hour.

Shubman:-Waiting. Bye.

Alisha:-Bye.

She took a deep sigh and was about to leave the room but her cat Marie started to play with her feet.

Oh my Marie. I am sorry. How can i forget you.
She said picking her up.

Alisha took her belongings and took Marie with her because she can't live without her.

As she was leaving the house she was stopped by her father.

Mohit:-Bete please think about it again.

Alisha:-I have made my decision papa. I can't stay here anymore.

Mohit:-But bete..

Alisha:-I can understand you papa but please don't stop me now. I don't want my baby to stay in such environment. Don't worry papa i am staying at Shubman's house and you can visit me anytime you want.

Mohit:-Hmm. But please take care of yourself beta.

Alisha:-Yes papa. You too and take your medicines on time.

Mohit:-Ye i will. Ab toh tu bhi nhi rahegi yaha muje meri medicines kab leni hai yeh kaun yaad dilayega.

Alisha:-Don't worry mein aapko roz aapki medicine lene ke time pe text kar diya karungi. Ok.

Mohit:-Ok. Take care beta.

Alisha:-Yes papa. Bye.

Mohit:-Bye.

Before leaving Alisha glanced at her mom once but her mom ignored her and went away.

Taking a deep sigh, she moved out from her house.

Within half an hour she reached at Shubman's apartment and she rang the doorbell.

Shubman immediately opened the door.

Shubman:-Congratulations Alisha and welcome home.

Alisha:-Thank you Shubman.

Shubman:-Oh who is this little kitty.

Alisha:-Oh she is my cat Marie.

Shubman:-Awww she is so cute.

Marie jumped out of Alisha's arm and jumped at Shubman's arm. Marie started to lick his face and he started to cuddle with her.

Alisha:-Well Shubman i am also here.

Shubman:-Well, sorry Alisha i can't cuddle with you.

Alisha:-What?

Shubman:-Sorry i am just kidding but your cat Marie is so cute. Please tell me that she is also staying with us?

Alisha:-Of course she is because we both can't stay without each other. Isn't it Marie?

Without meowing anything Marie climbed at Shubman's shoulders.

Shubman:-Well i guess Marie has found her daddy. Isn't it Marie baby.

Alisha:-Hey hey hey she is my baby.

Shubman:-Well not anymore. Isn't it Marie?

Meow meow🐾

Shubman:-That's my little girl.

Alisha:-Well Marie you cheated on me and i will take my revenge.
