Prologue

Lucky watched her grandsons sitting on the dining table yet talking through their eyes. It wasn't that normal lovely kind of conversation that siblings would share. Rakshit Shergill, the elder of the two by one year sat on the dining table watching his brother smirk at him, reminding him how he stole one of his biggest deals. Romi Shergill on the other hand seemed not so bothered by his brother's threatening gaze.

Aisha, Lucky's sister happened to stay with them, since Lucky's grandsons were so busy handling the family business that they barely spared any time for her. Aisha watched the heated breakfast where nobody uttered a single word, so she decided initiating a conversation in hope of creating a less complicated environment.

"Rakshit beta, how's everything at work going on?" Alas she picked the wrong question for the initiation.

Rakshit's jaw clenched at the question but he couldn't say anything. Afterall it was his grandma's mom which meant she was her grandma too. Romi laughed at the question and put the glass of water he was holding back on the table.

"Yeah, I would like to know that too Rakshit. How's your business going? I've heard you had a very important deal coming up" Rakshit who was sitting silent till this moment stood up from his seat and looked at his two grandmothers.

"I'm going to my office and might come back late so don't get tensed" Lucky knew her grandsons hated each other but in front her, they never dared to yell at each other. Only when they crossed the lines they would wreck a havoc.

"Oooo. You'll be staying out late" Lucky giggled at the fake scenario building in her mind. Afterall her grandsons marriage was the one thing she had been dreaming of since the day they were born. "I want you two to come home early, no excuses. I have seen girls for both of you. If you will like them, I will ask for their hand in marriage and get you married as soon as possible"

"Dadi not now. You know I don't want to get married this soon. Can't you wait for some time?" Rakshit sighed.

"Yeah dadi, what do you think? Which girl is out of her mind to like someone with severe anger issues, incompetency and high levels of ego. Nobody is interested in ruining her life with a guy like him" Romi laughed in a way that he tried showing it was meant to be a friendly joke but it wasn't, was it?

"As if thousands of girls fall in front of you. Trust me, no girl wants to marry a pyscopath, revenge seeking and always taunting guy in her life too" Rakshit fake smiled at his brother and left the hall. Soon after that Romi left too.

Lucky who was watching all of this was devastated and looked at Aisha for help. Aisha knew her sister was upset watching her grandsons being each other's enemies, so she came up with the best plan she could make. "Didi the best you can do is finalize the marriage without asking them"

"Aisha?! No, they won't be happy with this decision. You know them"

"They never like anything. You know they won't deny you. You have to take the things in your own hands. Find the suitable brides for your sons, brides who would bring them closer. I hope the differences between them end soon" Aisha suggested and Lucky found some logic behind it.

"You are right Aisha. I guess I'll just send the proposal" she smiled.

"Who are these girls by the way?"

"Oh they are two lovely sisters. Drishti and Divya Sharma. Those film stars you know. Their parents died a few years ago and were good acquaintances of mine. The girls know me too as I would visit them in between. I'm sure they would never deny me" At least Lucky had this advantage that none of the children would say no to her.

"That's great. I just hope they bring these brothers closer" Aisha smiled.

At night when Romi and Rakshit arrived they were up for the biggest shock of their life. In front of them, on the couch sat two absolutely stunning girls. Though all they saw were humans full of annoyance.

"Dadi who are they?" Asked Romi.

"Ah welcome home dears. Meet Romi meet Divya and Rakshit meet Drishti, your soon to be wives" Lucky smiled at the end.

Rakshit and Romi were left speechless at the sudden marriage decision. They were not ready for it so they tried convincing their grandmother to call off the wedding.

"Dadi please, you can't do this to us. We are not in a state to be married" Romi told Lucky but she wouldn't listen.

"Yeah!"

"We don't want to get married"

"Yeah"

"We have business to handle"

"Yeah"

"A life to make"

"True"

"Can you just stop copying me and find some lines of your own?"

"Shut up" Rakshit glared at Romi.

"Dadi, I'm not marrying her. End of the conversation"

"For the first time in my entire life I agree to him" Rakshit never saw this moment coming but it somehow did come. Lucky on the other hand felt happy that her grandsons agreed on something.

"Either you marry her, or you can throw me out of this house with my bags. Because I won't be returning afterall" Blackmailing but that always worked.

"Dadi you can't just do that!"

"Dadi please"

The boys weren't ready to give in, but dadi being dadi, she made them say yes. Without further arguments they did the engagement the same night and settled in fir the marriage the next week.

Lucky thought the girls would be lucky for her sons, absolutely loving. Little did she know that the hate level was none less than her own grandsons. The sisters hated each other too. They took each other as their competitors just like the Shergill brothers. However unlike the brothers they had reasons for their hatred.

When Lucky approached them for marriage they couldn't say no because they respected her. Moreover the brothers were among the most powerful names in the market. The success rating and the looks, they couldn't just say a no.

The next week all the preparations were done. The media was kept in shade anout the wedding, the biggest surprise would come when the people would know about the Sharma sisters weddings.

The pavilion was all set. The boys were groomed traditional, the girls were all decked up like any cultural bride. The knt was tied, vows were made, vermillion was filled and the nuptial chain was tied.

That's how the new life of the four began.
