"That's unfair! You got to hold my godchild first, Swara." Jay cried complaining to his best friend who was making him jealous from time to time and he still couldn't get over the fact that she held him first. 

"All fair Mr. Captain." Swara winked at him teasingly. "You can't change the fact that I won the bet, Remember I told I could hold the baby first? See god's on my side." 

"Ah! That's cheating. He's my godchild and I'm his godfather and I didn't get to hold him. I even had a fight with my girlfriend. I'm already having such a bad day. She slapped me!" Jay spoke without breathing and crashed the potato chips packet he was having and continued his sob stories while Swara rolled her eyes at him. 

"You should try telling your sob story to someone else maybe they can help you." She said politely. According to her she was really bad at giving ideas and all she could do was to smile at Jay's reactions which only made him cry more. 

"Seriously Swara? You are asking me to go away? Once there was a boy whom you fought with you and then what happened? He called you angry bird and when you was about to give pass I got the revenge for you. You seriously changed after coming back from Los Angeles. Our bro codes died!" 

"Why don't you talk to her? and who knows what you have done? I'm sure you made her angry." She scolded him and he looked at her with sharpened eyes. "You are really taking her side bro?" He shouted while Swara sighed. As much as she loved blackmailing him he loved blackmailing her. Probably a best friend's favourite work to do.

"I did nothing. A girl of my class asked me a doubt and I happened to help her, was that wrong? I just helped that girl and she slapped me saying that she could never date me. She rejected me? The captain of football team, Jay Sharma?" He again went back to soby mode while Swara wondered why she slapped him just because she helped someone. 

Just then Aditi came inside the canteen and Swara immediately nudged Jay.

"You should talk to her, go." 

"I'm not talking to Aditi." He concluded. 

"What if she thinks you don't love her anymore?" Jay looked at Swara with fear. "It's possible. She might even get another boyfriend tomorrow in anger so don't be shocked." Swara said with a grin but stopped immediately when Jay narrowed his eyes at her.

"Urgh! You are only making it worse Swara. I am not talking about Aditi okay?" He puffed while Swara mumbled a okay. 

"Mm..but you are right. Maybe I should try for once."

 He smiled a bit and walked towards his girlfriend and when he tried talking to her Aditi gave deaf ears to Jay and walked away. Jay again sat beside Swara with his face covered in anger and within seconds the soda can he brought for himself to cool his veins was crashed and thrown on the floor. Swara looked at the can with sympathy. 

"She didn't even look me as if I didn't exist there." Jay flared in anger. "Because of her my drinks can got crashed and just because you said I went her but she's throwing attitude towards me. Let me see till when she'll throw that attitude of hers to me. I don't want to talk about Aditi." He shouted and thankfully the canteen was empty. Swara didn't bother about his shout and continued munching her potato chips. She didn't want to die by her best friend and appear in the flash news.

"But you are right. What if she really get herself a boyfriend tomorrow just to make me jealous. My girl is really naïve." Swara smiled seeing her best friend getting worried. He was so much whipped by Aditi already. 

"Then go talk to her." Swara seconded. 

"Don't you understand I don't want to talk about her." Swara rolled her eyes. Just now he was worried and every next moment he doesn't want to talk about her. "You better throw that five rupees chips packet before I myself dump that packet in the dustbin."

"Hey that's fifty rupees packet not five rupees packet and do you want to try this? It's a new flavour released by lays." Swara forwarded the packet to him while he glared at her before snatching the packet and started eating it. Swara smiled as she knew Jay was a big foodie and would choose food over his anger. 

"We have class now come let's go." Swara pulled Jay with her who was eating lays with full concentration to cool down his veins. Both stopped when they saw few students heading towards the auditorium and they even asked Jay and Swara to come with them as they too were called.

"Maybe we should follow them." Jay said throwing the empty packet in the dustbin and both went along with students.

The teachers were in serious mood discussing about the inter school culturals that was about to happen after few weeks. The cultural program was very important for the school since it had international guests attending as the chief guest and now way they could leave the chance.

As of now the discussion was about the drama play 'Romeo Juliet' and the casting team. Though they had already discussed about the supporting characters the main leads were still on pending.

"I prefer Swara as Juliet. She's got good speaking skills and I'm sure she would be able to apt it well." One among the teachers said.

"Then what about Ragini? When Swara had been abroad it was she whom played the main leads. Just because Swara has come back we can't leave her in deal." Mr. Matthews spoke in defence.

"Both of them are highly talented. This is really confusing." The other said.

"About the male lead either Laksh or Sanskaar would do. We'll see who does the part well and we'll select accordingly." Miss. Nirmala spoke and all agreed to the fact.

A little away from the teachers the students were standing discussing their parts.

"Seriously they got me as Friar Laurence? Advisor to Romeo and Juliet and the one who gets them married?" Jay scowled and Swara laughed.

"That character suits you better Jay. Playing cupid, isn't it your part time job you do? I give standing ovation for the one who chose the right character for you." Swara pinched his cheeks and Jay slapped her hand.

"My love life is already at stake and you are taking about mending others relationship?" He glared. Swara threw her hands in surrender.

"I pray all Lord and God not to make you the main lead." He folded his hands together with his eyes closed.

"Why?" Her left eyebrow lifted up questioning him.

"I would rather act with anyone except you. We both would rather laugh or forget our lines and end up getting punished. Remember Mr. Matthews, our dear English teacher is already having his evil eyes to take you down somehow." Swara agreed with a nod still giggling.

"Lucky you. You still get to see Aditi as she plays nursemaid."

"I dont--"

"Want to speak about her." She mimicked Jay who was throwing deadly glares to her. "I understand, okay." She acted as if zipping her mouth invisibly.

"Except Laksh, Swara, Ragini and Sanskaar others can move to your respective classes."

Except the four all the others left the stadium gossiping who would be the main leads since all the four were popular in their own ways.

"Listen students, The main leads are the important part in the entire play. We teachers found all four of you very capable of doing it but we need the perfect pair. I expect you all to give the best out of you so that we could choose you." Mr. Matthews said and the students nodded in return.

"I've seen all the four of you having very good speaking skills but dance is important so based on your dancing skills as of now we are choosing the pair." The dance master Robin spoke looking at all four of them.

"Pair up. Swara and Laksh first."

Swara and Laksh took steps forward. When the soft music was played Laksh wrapped his arms around her waist and held her hand in his. Both had their eyes locked.

"They might choose us." Laksh whispered twirling her. Swara managed to keep her smile intact.

"Don't fly before the decisions are taken." Swara said as they were back to the normal position still dancing without any flaw since they have danced before.

"Swara halt and Ragini continue." Swara quickly halted and stood beside Sanskaar who was watching the pair dancing.

"Sanskaar and Swara now."

Both took their positions and started moving slowly as per the music beat. Swara was quick to see him hesitating with his every step. Sanskaar on the other hand was very conscious not to stamp her foot.

"Chin up Sanskaar. Don't look down and tell me do you dance?" Sanskaar for a was about to stop but Swara took the lead and leaded him.

"First time?" She repeated again and he nodded slightly embarrassed.

"Follow my instructions and don't look down. Look at me." She ordered.

As Swara gave instructions and took the lead Sanskaar quickly grabbed her actions and followed. For others it looked like a perfect couple dance.

Robin realized the comfort both shared and found the chemistry needed for the leads. It looked simply eye catching.

"Pause."

Swara and Sanskaar paused withdrawing their hands from each other. The teachers after five minutes of small discussion looked at the students.

"We think Swara and Sanskaar would do well as leads and I hope you both would to justice to your parts." Susan spoke as she looked at Swara and Sanskaar. 

"Sure we will." Sanskaar nodded.

"Laksh would play Prince Paris." She looked at Laksh who mouthed a okay even though he was disappointed and then looked at Ragini.

"Mam I'm fine with participating in the solo dance." Ragini said since she knew there was no other characters left for her to play.

"Swara, Sanskaar will you be able to do the royal dance performance tomorrow Evening or do you want help?" Robin asked looking at both of them.

"No sir. We--" Swara looked at Sanskaar and continued. "would surely give the performance by tomorrow evening." Sanskaar looked at her as if she was an alien. How will they be able to do it without the master's help? But she looked confident.

"School dancing studio. You can use it tomorrow and collect the keys from me when you go home Swara." Robin smiled. He knew Swara would make it up easily afterall she was his passionate student.

"You both can leave." Mr. Matthews said firmly.

"My Mr. Captain your prayers have been answered, I'm playing the lead." Swara hopped and sat beside Jay.

"Hell! and Swara don't sit here because---"

"Leave my seat." Swara and Jay looked up and saw Aditi standing with two food plates making Swara's jaw drop down.

Swara stood up and Aditi sat beside Jay placing his plate to him and hers on the table.

"Heavens! When did you both patch up?" Swara looked both of them shocked. Hours ago they acted as if they were lifetime enemies and now acting all lovely dovely.

"10 minutes ago." Aditi answered  wrapping her hands around Jay's and both looked at each other lovingly. Swara sat on the other side beside Jay.                                  

"You, your sob stories and your girlfriend." Swara shook her head in disbelief. She couldn't believe that her best friend who was crying with his sob stories was now happily laughing with his girlfriend. She had always adored their love for each other. Inspite of fighting they never let another to intrude between them. 

"Jay couch asked me to handover the team list to you." Sanskaar forwarded the paper to jay as he was asked to give. Jay took the papers and had glance on it. 

"Thanks buddy. Sanskaar come join us for lunch." Jay said enthusiastically and pointing at the vacant chair besides Swara. 

"Hey dude why hesitation." All the heads met the boy who was now sitting besides Swara. Swara smile grew wider when she saw him. 

"You guys look at me as if you don't know me so let me introduce myself." He took the water bottle in his hand as his imaginary mike and stood up. "I am Arya Thakkur, the famous photographer of our school." 

"Arya shut up and take your seat before I dump my food plate on your head." Jay snapped annoyingly while Swara giggled.

"Eww! That's horrible. Aditi you better take care and beware of your boyfriend." Arya made faces and sat beside Swara and pulled Sanskaar too to sit with them. Having no other choice he sat with them. 

"I'll take care of my boy friend but you better stay away if you don't want get beaten up blue and black." Aditi spoke while all others chuckled except Arya who shrugged it off.

"So Swara, the Juliet and Sanskaar, the Romeo I damn lucky that you both got to be the pair. My photographs are going to be sold out in minutes after all we got a famous beauty and handsome hunk together. You guys are the hot topic for the gossip today and you won't believe me that I already got pre-orders from them. Do I have the chance to root on you both other than the play?" Arya winked at both of them teasingly. He was excited to see how the play was going to be and more than that he was excited to make good pictures, sold and make his own pocket money. 

"No!" Both yelled in unison and looked at each other. 

"I get it babe." He wrapped his arm around her neck. "I know you don't want him after all you love me." He winked again and Swara rolled his eyes and gave a punch on his stomach. Instantly Arya withdrew his hand and held his stomach. 

"Damn you Swara! You are still strong." He hissed in pain and Swara laughed. 

"I don't mind showing my strength too." Aditi pushed her invisible sleeves upwards while Arya looked at her in horror. 

"I don't want to die soon." He cried wiping his fake tears and Swara sighed. She had too many people dramatic with her when she was nothing but straight. 

"How do you mange to have so many boys around you? You have Mr. Captain Jay as your best friend, You have the photographer with you that is myself, You got the topper and the geek god Sanskaar with you and the famous bratty Laksh who calls you as his. Do you do any black magic? or---" Before he would complete his words, Jay commented in. 

"I swear Arya Thakkur I'm going to break your bones, tear your flesh and throw it to the dogs outside school if you keep spouting non sense to her." Jay threw deadly glares to Arya pointing his fork.

"Jay he was kidding and you knew it so why bother wasting your good dangerous dialogues?" Swara rolled her eyes and looked at Arya who was making all sort of cute faces to escape from Jay. "I don't do anything Arya. Jay happens to be my best friend since childhood, you of course happened to be my sweet classmate, Sanskaar happens to be my pair for the play and Laksh I don't know." Swara said calmly and digged her head back in food. 

"Sanskaar you got a good shot to flirt you know." He pointed Swara who was eating and got a glare from him. Arya quickly mumbled a sorry to him before digging his head to his own food plate. 

"Sanskaar flirts?" Aditi made a perfect O with her mouth. She was not aware of that. 

"He does more." All their heads shot up at him with a wide eyes with his statement. 

'Ah-- not double meaning. He's got phd in the flirting department." He added with a grin. 

"Sanskaar seriously? I never knew it." Jay was equally surprised hearing that new piece of information. He had hardly seen him talking to boys itself then forget about girls. 

"Sometimes you got to cut the roots by going through its ways Jay." He shrugged explaining them. Though he ignored the girls as days went by it only went more and more and he had no other choice but to flirt in such way they run away and never look at him. But that was only for very annoying ones. 

"But Swara's ways are the best. You should see her sarcastic tone she uses for those brats. Damn I promise you'll see a demon girl instead of the angel who's sitting with us now." Arya said and Jay agreed. If you are sweet then she's going to be sweeter but if you are bitter then hell, she's going to be the worst. 

"That's needed because brats like them don't understand when we tell them sweetly and politely." Aditi commented putting cutlery down. 

"Is your wild cat really agreeing with me Mr. Captain?" Swara teased. 

"I'm not into your cat-cat fights you ask her itself why bother to ask me?" He asked rubbing his temples. 

"Because you own the cat and shouldn't the owner be responsible to answer." Jay was embarrassed and Aditi flushed red. 

"I want my snap cam to shoot this beautiful moment."  Arya exclaimed. 

"I didn't know Aditi can also blush." Sanskaar said as he drank water.

"Ya!" Aditi shouted but still her face was red.

"Stop teasing us." Jay protested too making the other three of them laugh.

As soon the bell rang indicating lunch break was over it was Aditi to run first bidding bye to all and Jay had to run behind her. Both were still embarrassed and blushing.

"Catch you up soon babe." Arya winked giving a friendly side hug to Swara.

"Yup." Swara too smiled and Arya left.

"Sanskaar let's meet tomorrow morning in the Classic studio since I have some work and we'll go to our dance studio from there. For now I'm going to meet Robin master just let our commerce mam know." Swara spoke in rush as it was getting late and for all her words Sanskaar gave just a small nod as response.

Swara took steps forward but halted and turned back.

"By the way you danced well." Swara showed a thumbs up to him.

"Which was only because of your lead. Thanks." He thanked sincerely.

"I'll accept your thank you only after seeing your performance tomorrow. Show me that you are really thankful." Swara challenged.

"You'll surprised then. I accept your challenge." Sanskaar said with confidence.

"We'll see." Swara winked and ran to meet Mr. Robin while Sanskaar too went to his class.

I think I'm getting so many characters in so do you all want me to post a character sketch? Like a rough one? Or should I leave it in flow?

Laksh is still on game but I think his scenes have become quite less and to move the story forward for now his scenes will be rare.

I know I'm so damn late but my mood swings is eating me up and the only reason I hate holidays. Anyways I am really not sure if the chapter was that worth reading unless I get comments from you all.
