Chapter 2: First meets

Dressed up in her blue blouse which had the school symbol embroidery on the left side of the shirt and grey skirt with belt around her waist, Swara looked at her reflection on the mirror. Memories flooded like a film as she saw herself in her school uniform once again.

"Swara, Are you ready?"

Hearing Reema's voice Swara quickly pulled her hair into a neat ponytail and wearing her diamond stud on her ears, taking her watch and her bag, Swara ran out of the room,

"Coming maasi."

Hearing the footsteps both Shekhar and Aditya looked up at the stairs to see Swara coming to the hallway in full swing. The house till yesterday was so silent and it was just with Swara's arrival the house was alive once again.

Swara ran to the kitchen and hugged her Reema maasi.

"Good morning beautiful. So what's my breakfast?" She asked all excited because she knew she would have done one of her favourite ones as breakfast for her. Reema smiled.

"Good morning sweetheart. It's your favourite french toast, pancakes with maple syrup, and--" Swara hugged her again and kissed her cheek.

"I love you-- one, two, three and to the infinty." Swara beamed in joy and all was witnessed by Shekhar and Aditya. Though both managed to keep a stern face outside, inside they were amused to see her getting all goofy and happy just because her favourite breakfast was made.

"Okay let's go the table." Reema said and Swara nodded with a smile.

Swara saw her father sitting on the main chair and her brother sitting near him.

"Good morning father, bhai." Swara greeted and as usual Shekhar greeted with a nod and Aditya didn't bother to reply. Swara sat opposite to Aditya and when her food was served she ate it with utter silence. According to Gagodias it was table manners not to speak while eating. Following the rule Swara did and waited for everyone to finish the meal and soon when they were done Swara too had her hands cleaned and she walked out.

"You'll be dropped by father." Swara pouted as she saw her brother walking out of the mansion. She actually thought it would be him but he rejected before she would ask him.  Seeing her father coming out her eyes lit up again.

"Raja will drop you." With that he too walked away. Swara felt hurt that she was either dropped by her father nor her brother on the first day of her school but being a sportive girl she was, Swara quickly put on a smile and hopped into the car where Raja was the buttler.

"Hi bhai." Swara smiled at him as Raja sat on the driving sitting.

"Namaste chotti madam." Raja greeted as he started the car engine.

"Bhaiya how many times should I tell you not to call me like that? I feel so old when you call me like that." Swara whined and Raja smiled. That's Swara... She never likes to be called that way and she had always treated him like her very own brother.

As Raja drove Swara looked at the roads reviving how she and Jay used to spent time at evenings after school, they passed by the football ground she remembered how she used to cheer him up when there was a football match and if the school team wins usually it was Jay who buys her ice-cream and in return if the team lost then it would be Swara's turn to get him an ice-cream to boast him for the next matches. Passing by the market now she remembered how she used to sneak out the house to get things from the market without anyone knowing about it in the house to buy her favorites and her maasi and she still consider that as real fun even now. When they passed by the Richard auditorium her smile drained as it was further replaced with memories which she guarded only to herself... those bitter memories.. Swara closed her eyes and took a deep breathe to catch her emotions on hold.

"Chotti madam we've reached." Swara opened her eyes as she heard Raja and looked around.

"Oh yes, bye bhaiya." Swara opened the door and came outside and closed the door.

Swara took a look at her school building which stood all tall and mighty painted with lime yellow and reddish-brown rooftops and numerous glass windows were present and it had consists of 3 blocks: Primary block, Middle school block and higher secondary block. Swara smiled seeing how fresh it looked and she knew it was all because of Sharmishtha Gagodia's magic and maintenance.

Sanskaar as usual parking his cycle in the parking lot walked inside the school campus. Noticing students grouping up and talking about something so seriously made him curious for the matter. What it would be? He wondered as he walked further in. In a moment someone bumped into him.

"Oops sorry bro." Sanskaar quickly sensed it was Jay through his voice and stopped him.

"Jay? Why are you running a marathon early in the morning?" Sanskaar asked seeing Jay panting so heavily due to running.

"Sanskaar if I don't go now then that girl will dig me inside the ground all alive." Sanskaar looked at Jay as if he was talking some alien language.

"Girl? Whom?" He further inquired.

"Swara Gagodia." With that Jay fled away to the main gate with all his might.

Everything made sense to him. That grouping sessions of gossips was for that girl. Sanskaar sighed and left to the library to return the book he borrowed not bothered about 'that girl'.

Swara walked inside with enthusiasm but it was soon replaced by irritation as she saw students in many small groups looking at her and gossiping. She didn't know what made them look at her and what was there to gossip. She no way wore some fancy dress but was in the normal school uniform like every other. Though Swara was used to being as center attraction this made her quite uncomfortable.

In sea full of people Swara looked if she could see anyone she knew. Jay somehow managed to get into the crowd and gain Swara's attention. Swara quickly raised her hands to Jay while he signed her to somehow sneak out. Understanding his words Swara managed to sneak out of the crowd by distracting them and went inside the block.

"Swara! I just ran 3000 mtrs run and you are making me run even more idiot." Jay complained while Swara gave a hit on his arms to which Jay winced, Swara sure had power.

"What was that for?" he whined.

"For not coming and picking me up inspite you yourself voluntary promised that you would come and pick me up." Swara gave a tight lipped smile.

"Hey I had a sudden match that I hardly had time to inform dad yaar. No mistake on my part." Jay justified his actions and threw his hands up in surrender.

"You and your never ending reasons." Swara broke into a genuine smile and pulled him to a hug. She missed this reasoning boy there a lot.

"Let's apart. If my girlfriend finds me then I'll be a dead meat Swara." Jay and pulled Swara out of the hug while Swara giggled.

"Being loyal, aren't we?" She teased.

"Yup." Jay laughed.

"Oh my god! I have to meet the coach. Swara I'll meet you in the break man." Before Swara could even say anything Jay ran while Swara huffed in anger muttering few curses for him as he was leaving her alone.

Swara walked into the high school block from the back corridor and all thanks to her memory. As she walked into the block further she was confused as some rooms have changed. For now she was looking for the Head Mistress room and she found it.. but at the present it was no more a HM's room but changed into music room. Swara had no idea where the HM room would be. She looked around and found a tall boy walking.

"Ahem.. Excuse me." On hearing a girl's voice Sanskaar looked at the girl.

"Would you let me know where Chairwoman's room is?" Swara asked politely.

"It's straight and second left and first right from here." Sanskaar directed.

"Thank you." Swara thanked him and started walking but halted hearing the deep voice again.

"Are you new here?" Sanskaar asked as far as he remembered he has not seen her and so he asked. Swara turned and nodded in agreement. So he was right.

"Then let me guide you." He walked with her while Swara felt relieved.

"Oh thanks." Swara thanked him again.

As they strolled into the corridors Swara took a look at all the rooms there on her way. There were no big changes except for few rooms shifted into other but other than that she didn't find any major changes. Swara looked at the tall boy again but she had no idea of seeing him here when she studied. And to agree he looked quite handsome nope too handsome for a high school student.

"Your name?" Swara asked breaking the silence.

"Sanskaar." He replied with a tight smile while Swara gave a slight nod to him.

"May I know why people are running to the main gate?" Swara asked him to make sure what she thought was right or wrong.

"The Chairman's daughter, Swara Gagodia is coming to our school so it's quite in a rush. Don't mind that." Swara chuckled inside. So he does not know that the girl whom he was talking was her, quite interesting.

"There you go." Sanskaar said as they reached the room.

"Thank you so much for guiding me here and I hope I didn't disturb you." Sanskaar found her words to be sensible. That was when he took a good look at the girl. Captivating brown eyes, typical pale skin,  Blonde silky black hair tied into a ponytail maybe free hair would suit her more. She looked too pretty for a high school student. Sanskaar thought.

"No problem." Sanskaar smiled.

"Then I'll take my leave." With that Swara entered into the HM's room. Sanskaar sighed and left to his class.

Swara walked into the room and saw her mother working in the laptop.

"Good morning madam. I've reached." Swara bowed her head a little in respect. Hearing her words Sharmishtha's looked up and saw Swara dressed up in a fresh new pair of uniform and hairs neatly tied. Swara called her madam as she knew her mother does not like to mix her professional life with personal and she was here as here as a student and not as her daughter and that was what her mother had taught her.

"The envelop contains your class section. It's better if you keep up our standards and not let our family name down." Sharmistha said strictly.

"I will keep up our name madam. Then I'll take my leave." With that Swara walked out and opened the envelop and smiled, as expected it was commerce group.

Swara walked upstairs as the class was on the second floor. As she walked in the teachers saw their student coming. Swara entered in and greeted everyone with respect while teachers were happy seeing her all grown but her behavior has never changed. She's still the same Swara who gave respect to everyone and did everything on time and stood forward when she found mistakes. What they would expect from her? After all she's Gagodia's heir.

"I hope everyone treats the way the you treat other students in class and forget my surname at class times." Teachers were deeply touched with her words which was filled with sincerity.

"We will and which class have you picked up Swara?" The commerce teacher, Miss. Susan asked.

"It's commerce group mam." Swara replied.

"Good. I'm going to the class as well let me take you there." Miss. Susan said and walked with swara to the class.

Seeing Miss. Susan entering the class, the students quickly ran to their own places and stood up straight.

"Good Morning Mam." The class greeted in union.

"Good morning students. Please take your seats." The students sat on their places. Sanskaar placed his notes inside the desk so that he can re-check them later and took out his commerce text book.

"Before we begin our class I would like to welcome a new student in our class." Sanskaar who was tuning his text book to take the page where the lesson was paused the last day halted when he heard about 'new student' He wondered, would that be that Swara Gagodia who's been the talk of school for the last one week?

"So let's welcome Swara Gagodia to our class." Miss. Susan said with a smile and asked Swara to enter who was standing outside till now. As she walked in Sanskaar's eyes widened in shock. That sensible pretty girl? Was she Swara Gagodia?

Swara walked in with a smile and stood beside Miss. Susan.

"Hello everyone. I'm Swara and please take care of me and treat me like a fellow student." Swara said happily as she saw many familiar faces. Boys went completely crazy seeing the beauty and girls were burning in jealous

"Swara you may take any empty seat you wish for." Swara nodded and looked around and saw 2 empty seats. One at the very end of the class and another at the middle last row. Swara took the middle last and she sat there. She looked aside and the tall handsome boy she met at the morning... his name.. yes Sanskaar.

"Hey Sanskaar. Glad to meet you here again." Swara smiled brightly at him while for Sanskaar it was like a dream... A dream he never wanted and he was not very glad to meet.. definitely not her, Swara Gagodia.

☆Meeting her was like listening to your favourite song and want to despise it though deep inside you already wanted that melody to sung by her only to him, forever!☆

And there you all go with the second update and the awaited occasion 😉. So if you want any scene to be attached here then let me know, if it goes appropriate with story line then I'll take it 😌

Love,
Diya ❤
