Mishti hugged him tight. She knew her brother needed somebody. Ranbir opened his eyes to find mishti, they broke the hug when Mishti told Ranbir to just let it out.

He fell on the ground with a thud, he couldn't handle it anymore. He broke down, they both sat on the ground, she also had tears rolling down, never ever did she see her brother cry, this was the first time she saw him.

She realised that this wasn't the Ranbir she knew since childhood, that selfish guy who only thought of himself....this Ranbir was something else, she could feel the difference.

Ranbir: (sobbing) I can't see her like this. How can that doctor say that he does not know, how does he not know, what doctor is he if he can't get her back

Mishti was listening to him while Ranbir continued

Ranbir: I shouldn't have left her alone in the morning, the other day she was insisting me to take her along with me, I should have listened to her.....it's all because of me

Sid sits next to Ranbir

Sid: Ranbir, look at me......it isn't your fault

Ranbir held himself responsible for Prachi's condition, he couldn't protect her, he didn't listen to her and now she was pregnant. Sid and mishti tried convincing him but that was of no use.

The three of them went back.

It was night, so Sunny decided to stay back while Rhea and Ranbir also decided to stay back and somehow convinced the parents to go home and take rest and return the following morning. Sid, Mishti, Vikram and Shahana returned home along with the parents.

It was all over the news that Prachi Abhishek Mehra and Aryan Khanna met with a fatal accident.

There was media all over, outside their mansion and even outside their hospital after all it was a high profile case. Media houses wanted updates and were trying their best to get an update on their conditions.

Abhi and Pragya had another task on line that was to find out about the guy Prachi was in a relationship with. How much they knew Prachi, she wasn't somebody who would have one night stands and they knew that she is among those who wanted serious relationship.

They both felt that it was important for her boyfriend to know about Prachi's pregnancy.

Hospital

The three of them were tired but weren't sleepy, they were worried for the two of them.

The nurse told them to avoid wandering frequently around the observation ward so, the three of them decided to go to the cafeteria, they had ordered hot coffee which would keep them awake and fresh.

For a long time they didn't talk to each other, probably they didn't have anything to talk to each other.

Rhea: Ranbir, you need to tell Mom and Dad about your relationship with Prachi

Ranbir: I'll tell them tomorrow

Rhea: hmm

Next morning

Hospital

Abhigya and dishrub arrive

They find the three of them sleeping in the waiting area, they quickly wake them up and tell them to go home and freshen up.

With a heavy heart the 3 leave for home.

Kohli Mansion

Ranbir's Room

Ranbir locks himself and starts crying, he couldn't see Prachi lying unconcious.

He bad been trying to control his tears the entire night, he knew he couldn't fall weak, he needed to be them, with Prachi and Aryan.

He then suddenly hears a vase falling down on the floor which breaks his thoughts, he looks up to find Aani standing.

He asks her what was she doing in his room to which Aani says that she was waiting for him the entire night in his room.

Ranbir was Aani's first friend away from home, she felt comfortable with him.

Aani sat next to Ranbir

Aani: Why are you crying?

Ranbir: nothing....just like that

Aani: Don't cry, when I feel like crying, I share it with somebody and that's why I came to talk to you

Ranbir: Tell na

Aani: first promise me you will tell me why you were crying

Ranbir: promise

Aani: my dad, he came to meet me, he told me that he was my dad, And he hugged me, I smiled back at him. Then I asked him why did he leave my mom...He just went out....I know that he left my mom.....I have decided i won't talk to him.....please tell him to stay away from me...please, Bir

Ranbir didn't expect Sid to start his conversation in this manner

Ranbir: uhmm...Aani, you need to give him a chance

Aani cuts Ranbir and shouts: I don't want to

And she leaves the room

Ranbir gets ready and leaves for the hospital

In his car

While driving, he was thinking about Prachi when he suddenly remembers about the envelope. He stops his car, and quickly opens the envelope which was kept exactly where he had left it the last time.

On opening, they were the pregnancy reports, he realized that Prachi already knew about it, he quickly calls his old friend.

Ranbir: Hello, I'm ranbir

Friend: yes

Ranbir: The other day you had given me an envelope, I wanted to know how did you have it...and what was Prachi doing at your place?

Friend:Being a doctor Prachi had consulted me regarding her pregnancy and she didn't have the courage to return home so I had offered her to come to my place for sometime and that envelope has her pregnancy reports.

Ranbir: So you were the doctor?

Friend: yes....I hope you know that she is 2 months pregnant

Ranbir: yeahh....thank you

And they disconnect the call

Ranbir didn't know what to do....Had he opened the envelope earlier, things would have been different.....he didn't understand why Prachi didn't inform him about it immediately

And he left for hospital

There was no improvement in Prachi and Aryan's condition. The doctors were checking them regularly.

Aryan had started to respond, but according to doctors he would take months to recover properly.....there were chances that he would be bed ridden for sometime.

Doctors didn't know when Prachi would be out from coma.

Ranbir entered the hospital and as soon as he entered, he recieved a tight slap from Abhi.

Ranbir couldn't face his chief, he couldn't look into his eyes, he was already broken from inside and now a slap from his mentor was no less than a punishment for him.

Ranbir: so..oorr..yy Chief (he had tears rolling down)

While all the family members present that was Mishti, Rhea, shahana, Pragya were all shocked, they didn't know the reason behind Abhi slapping Ranbir.

Mishti and Rhea had probably guessed it.

Ranbir was constantly looking down while Mishti came in Ranbir's support

Mishti: Chief...

Before Mishti could continue Abhi showed Mishti his palm telling not to say anything to which Mishti obeyed.

Pragya: why did you slap Ranbir?

Abhi: (looked at Pragya) Prachi is pregnant with Ranbir's child

Pragya was surprised, she always knew that Ranbir and Prachi had feelings for each other but never knew that they were together.

Pragya: I get it you are angry, but that doesn't mean that you will blame him

Abhi cuts Pragya: Pragya, I'm not blaming him, I'm angry with him for lying about his relationship status and also lying about the truth

Ranbir raised his head

Ranbir: Cheif, I didn't want to lie, I didn't know that she was preg...

Before ranbir could finish Abhi hugs Ranbir tightly

Both Abhi and Ranbir share an emotional moment looking at which the rest of them smile seeing their bond.

Abhi: Don't worry she'll be fine

To which Ranbir nods his head

Abhi leaves the hospital due to some work while Ranbir, Pragya and Shahana along with Disha stay back.
