News had been showing a car tilted on a crossroad. The brand new car now looked like a damaged car which hasn't been maintained well for years.

It had been an hour now that the rescue were trying to remove the two unconscious passengers from inside the car. Nobody knew whether they would be alive in future or no but for now the rescue had informed everyone that they were breathing and the doctors on spot had made all the provisions for them to breathe and keep them alive, keeping them alive was their topmost priority now.

Accident Spot

The Mehra's, Khanna's and Kohli's except pallavi had now reached the accident spot. Pallavi stayed back home so that she could make all the required arrangements at home.

Their parents were crying.

Ranbir was just trying to get a glimpse of his Prachi.

They all had been kept away, behind barricades by the police officers.

This route didn't go towards their office, nor it went to any known place then where were Prachi and Aryan going?

The rescue team was now successfull in removing both the passengers who were now on oxygen support and laid on their respective stretchers. They were drenched with blood.

Aryan had probably broken his left arm while his white shirt now looked more like a red shirt. He had glass pieces on his face which causing him to bleed. The doctors present were trying to stop the bleeding.

Just like Aryan even Prachi had glass pieces all over her face causing cuts on her face causing excessive bleeding. Luckily her arms looked fine, not broken, but she had hit her head badly causing a deep cut.

Their condition looked scary. It was unbearable for their family members to see them like this. Never did they imagine that they would encounter such a day.

The car was in a bad condition with all broken glass pieces around it.

Luckily, Aryan and Prachi had seatbelts on or else they wouldn't have been breathing at the present moment.

They were immediately taken to one of the best nearby hospitals and Vikram made sure that they got the best and necessary treatment required.

They all were emotional, some had their tears rolling and some were trying to control them. It was a very difficult situation for them.

Hospital

Both Aryan and Prachi were immediately taken to the operation theater, according to the doctors they were critical.

Pragya and Disha felt helpless, all they could do was pray. While Abhi could see his past turning into present. Purab loved Aryan a lot, he had always fulfilled his wish and in return aryan also did the same. They shared a perfect father-son relationship.

Ranbir had succeeded in seeing Prachi's glimpse at the accident spot. That one glimpse broke him from inside. For the first time in his life, he felt as if he failed, he failed miserably, he felt like he was useless as he couldn't protect her.
He needed Aryan, who was also on life support just like Prachi. Aryan was that brother to him for whom he could do anything, they weren't brothers by blood but they were brothers by heart and that made their bond more special.
At that moment it was Sid who was playing Aryan's role for Ranbir while Mishti supported the Mehra sisters.

Shahana was broken, she saw a hurt Ranbir falling to the ground with the help of a wall, she very well knew how he was feeling at that moment, she was the only one who could understand his situation. She sat next to Ranbir who was now on floor, while Ranbir tilted his head keeping it on Shahana's shoulder. They both began reminiscing their past memories in their thoughts and smiled while the remaining failed to understand what they both were feeling.

From sleepovers as kids to birthdays to stealing question papers to freeing Ranbir from the fake molestation case to having their first drink together. The four of them had come a long way together. They were unbreakable.

Mishti, Rhea and Sunny had now convinced the ones present in the hospital to eat while sid gave regular updates to Pallavi.

It had been an hour or two now, for all of them even a minute was like a hour.

They all were desperately waiting for the doctors to come out and tell that Prachi and Aryan are fine. But deep down they knew that now nothing would be fine. The scene they had witnessed at the accident spot was self explanatory, they knew what was on line for them next.

An impatient Abhi even tries to extract information from the nurses entering and exiting both the O.T.s but in vain.

After waiting for like an eternity the doctor from Aryan's O.T. comes towards them.

The doctor looked tense and serious as if he had a hard time handling the situation inside.

Doctor: Aryan, is still critical and we will be keeping him under observation. He has had a major fracture on his left arm that might cause a huge resistance to his movements in future while due to weightage on his chest when he was stuck in the car, he wasn't recieving sufficient oxygen that might have caused his brain to not function properly for time being.....so I can only say that you need to give him some time

Disha: ( emotional ) can we meet him?

Doctor: He is under complete observation...I'm sorry you won't be able to meet him but soon we will be shifting him to a room, over there you can only see him......and he won't be gaining consciousness soon, his brain activity is very slow for now and will take time to get back to it's normal pace......for now nothing is certain.....thank you

Disha and Purab burst into tears. While Sunny was not able to see his parents and tries to console them along with the others.

Ranbir and Shahana had never imagined Aryan to not speak for so many hours. He would blabber the entire day which irritated Ranbir and Shahana the most but now they were missing it. They were dying to hear him talk, pull their leg, trouble them.

Pragya after listening to Aryan's condition was now more tensed as how Prachi would be.

Soon a doctor was out from Prachi's O.T.

Doctor: May I talk to Prachi's parents?

Abhi: yes doctor

Doctor: Please come to my cabin

Abhi and pragya looked at each other

Ranbir and Shahana look at each other as they now knew that Prachi's condition was worse than Aryan's.

Abhi and Pragya enter the cabin and take their places while the doctor takes his seat

Doctor: Prachi's condition is really bad, she has no external injuries but is suffering internally. In the accident, she hit her head badly causing excessive bleeding which has lead her to slipping into coma.

Pragya and Abhi were now shocked they weren't in the state to listen any further so the doctor informed the nurse to call Prachi's close ones in as well

Ranbir, Rhea and Shahana enter who were hell scared, they were preparing themselves mentally as they knew that now things were serious.

Doctor informs the 3 of them about Prachi slipping into coma

The doctor further continues

Doctor: While we were examining Prachi, we realized that she was pregnant and nothing has happened to the foetus.

All 5 of them were shocked, Rhea looks at Ranbir while Ranbir moves a step backward trying to digest what the doctor said a minute back. Rhea and Shahana hold Ranbir preventing him from losing his balance. Rhea's stare was enough for Shahana to understand that Prachi was pregnant with his child.

Abhigya was hell shocked, their daughter being in coma was already a shock when they witnessed another shock of their daughter being pregnant.
They had many questions arising in their minds and the biggest question was who's the father??

The doctor continues

Doctor: And whether she should continue with her pregnancy or not depends on whether Prachi's condition improves or worsens

Just like aryan even prachi was under observation and they weren't allowed to meet her as well. They all come out where the others were.

Vikram: what did the doctor say?

Abhi and Pragya didn't have the courage to say anything while Rhea tells Vikram and the remaining of them that Prachi has slipped into coma and she is also pregnant.

This was a shock to the rest of them as well while Sid and Mishti look at each other and then at Ranbir. Ranbir started losing his mind, he didn't understand what was happening with him.

He ran out while Sid and Mishti followed him.

Inside in the hospital, he had started to feel suffocating, his constant support system were trying to survive, they were the ones who guided him and now he felt all alone, he felt directionless.

Ranbir stood outside the hospital and then ran towards the garden where he stood right in the middle while his siblings followed him, he closed his eyes trying to feel the cold air that was blowing when he felt someone warm, hugging him.
