Ranbir gets a call from an unknown number. He tells Pragya to not worry and tells her that he knows where Prachi is and that she is safe and also tells her that he will get Prachi along with him. He tells her to go to sleep.

The unknown caller claimed to be Prachi's friend was also Ranbir's old friend.
As told by their friend, he goes to prachi's whereabouts only to find Prachi sleeping. He picks her up and takes her home and lays her on her bed without disturbing her sleep.

RANBIR'S POV

When I was talking with Pragya ma'am I get a call from an old friend of mine saying that Prachi is with her.

As told by her I go to her residence where I find Prachi sleeping. I didn't get why prachi was at our friend's residence. I lay her on her bed and stroke her hair when I am suddenly reminded about the envelope which my friend had given. I look around searching for the envelope only to realise that I left it in the car. It was 2 a.m., I decide to sleep in Prachi's room....obviously not on her bed....I arrange myself on her couch which was quite comfortable as I didn't expect it to be.

I wasn't feeling sleepy so I close my eyes and lie down on her couch. I thought about events that happened today, I am concerned about Aanya...she is only five. She reminds me of Mishti, she reminds me of my childhood. I want to protect her the way bhai has protected Mishti and me, I was never the brother was for Mishti, the way Bhai was for us, I never protected her and I regret it, I want to be there for Aanya, I want to protect her.

Soon he dozed off

Next Morning

Kohli Mansion

Siddharth's room

The entire room was a mess as if there was a storm in his room the previous night.

Beer bottles were all over the floor while Sid was sleeping on his bed diagonally.

Living room

Pallavi: It is already 10....mishti go and call Sid

Mishti: okay

And she goes to Sid's room. She knocks his door for a long time but there was no response. Soon she realises that the door isn't locked and she makes her way in.

Mishti POV

On finding that the door is open, I enter bhai's room, Inspite of it being a sunny day, the room was full of darkness, I was making my way towards the switchboard when I hit my leg on an object, I was about to fall and I knew what the object was.....He again started drinking. I quickly switched on the lights only to find bhai asleep. After 5 mins, I return to his room with a jar full of water and pour it on his face. He quickly wakes up with a jerk.

Mishti's POV ends

Sid: what happened Mishti?

Mishti: bhai, why did you drink? Again?( pissed )

Sid: Don't start now Mishti

Mishti: I have no time for that now Bhai. It is already 10. Get ready, quickly

Sid:( looks at his alarm clock ) oh shit

Living Room

Ranbir: Mom, I have a meeting so I am leaving

Pallavi: okay

Vikram: Ranbir wait I have cancelled the meeting

Ranbir: Why dad?

Vikram: I want all of us to deal with it together

Ranbir: fine

Mishti enters

Pallavi: where is Sid, mishti?

Mishti: He is coming

Mehra Mansion

Prachi's Room

Prachi was still sleeping when Pragya enters in her room with coffee

She keeps the tray on the side table and wakes her up.

Pragya kisses Prachi's forehead and was about to wake her up when she realizes that Prachi has fever. She decides not to wake her up and instead gets warm water so that she can decrease her body temperature.

After she is done she leaves the room to call the doctor to tell about Prachi's condition.

Living Room

Rhea was calling Prachi when suddenly Pragya enters

Pragya: Rhea, she is sleeping, she has fever

Rhea: Ohh, How is she?

Pragya: She was shivering some time back, please keep a watch on her while I'll call the doctor

Rhea: ya I'll go to her room

Rhea leaves for Prachi's room while Pragya calls the doctor

Kohli Mansion

Living room

Sid enters while the remaining of them were waiting for Sid to arrive

Pallavi: sid, where have you been?

Sid: Sorry, Mom

Vikram: Where is the lawyer?

Just then the lawyer enters

Lawyer: sorry for the inconvenience, Due to traffic I was late

Vikram: It's okay, Mr. Ahuja. Shall we start with the paperwork?

Vikram, Pallavi, Sid were listening to what the lawyer was saying while Ranbir and mishti were distracted.

Ranbir's Thought

Due to my meeting I had to leave Prachi's room early in the morning, she wasn't awake and I didn't want to disturb her.
I need to talk to her urgently.

Mishti's thought

Bhai again started drinking, should I tell Ranbir bhai about it? ( looks at Ranbir ) I don't think so, he looks worried.

College

Shahana calls Aryan at the backside of the college

As soon as Aryan comes, she blasts on him

Shahana: Why don't you understand? Who told you to get involved in my problems? Did I tell you to do anything? No right! Then?

Aryan: wai..t..t, what are you talking about?

Shahana:What am I talking about?
You seriously don't know what you have done or are you pretending to not know?

Aryan: What did I do? ( He knew where this conversation was going to go )

Shahana: Why did you hit him?? You hit him so badly that he is still in the hospital. Do you have any idea how serious this matter has become now? Police can arrest you any minute. How can you be so insensitive...tell me?

Aryan: He deserved it

Shahana: That does not mean that you will go to his house at midnight and hit him badly

Aryan: you are making it a big issue now

Shahana: Issue....I'm making it an issue......nice... who was the other guy with you? Ranbir?

Aryan just looks away

Shahana: I need answers why did you beat the hell out of him? Who told you to do that because I didn't tell you anything....this is the reason why I didn't want to tell you about my breakup

Aryan: ohh...so now you thought of hiding it from me? Didn't expect this from you, Shahana

Shahana: you know what...let's talk about you and what mess you have created. Why did you do that?

Aryan: He hurt you....and I couldn't see you cry.....

Shahana: so what? That does not mean you will almost kill him

Aryan: You very well know I can do anything for the people I love

Shahana: what do you mean

Aryan: dammit I love you ya, if Ranbir wouldn't have stopped me then by now you would have even attended his funeral

Shahana slaps him, she had tears in her eyes

One tight slap from shahana was enough for him to stop talking

There was complete silence and only thing that could be heard was the birds chirping.

Shahana didn't know how to react

Her best friend, her childhood bestfriend loved her, he loved her so much that he could even kill anybody for her

While aryan realized what he had said, he told shahana what he felt for her, something which he had been hiding for years.

Shahana after 2 mins of Aryan's revelation leaves while Aryan didn't have the guts to face shahana

Aryan fell on his knees, he was scared, he didn't want to lose her, his life revolved around her.

Mehra Mansion

Doctor arrives

Doctor takes a look at Prachi's condition and prescribes some medicines and also gives the names of necessary tests that need to be done by Prachi. On reading the names, there is is one test that shocks pragya

Pragya: Doctor, are you sure? Why pregnancy test?

Doctor: Mrs. Mehra they are just tests to make sure she is fine. I have prescribed it as she is showing symptoms

Pragya: ok doctor

Doctor leaves

Rhea had got a phone call so she had gone out to attend it so she didn't listen to the conversation between Pragya and the doctor.

On Rhea's arrival in Prachi's room, Pragya leaves as she had some work.

Soon Prachi wakes up and asks Rhea to call Ranbir, on Prachi's insistence Rhea goes to Kohli Mansion to call Ranbir.

Kohli Mansion

Lawyer: Mr. Kohli, I have made all the necessary changes to your will, soon you will receive the original documents. Now I'll take a leave

Vikram: Thank you, Mr. Ahuja

The lawyer left

Sid: What was the need of making changes so soon?

Vikram: There would be a day when I would have to make changes, so I thought why not today

Sid: hmm

Mishti: Bhai, did you meet her?

Sid: No, not yet

Pallavi: And why is that you didn't meet her yet?

Sid: Mom, I don't know how she will react

Ranbir: come on Bhai, she is your daughter....I am sure she wants to meet you as well

Sid: Where is she?

Mishti: Upstairs, In my room

Sid: I'll be back

Sid goes upstairs

Pallavi: It's been 5 years now, he needs to face the reality, for how long is he going to run away

Vikram: Don't worry Pallavi, he is a mature guy and he is trying his best....just give him sometime

Pallavi nods

All of this was heard by Rhea who had come to call Ranbir.
