Quirk: Half Cold Half Hot

The day after was different, but I had to keep going through the day, so I did.

I had gotten a call from Yuna earlier that morning. She told me that the entire class was planning on visiting our classmates in the hospital. I said I would go and made my way to the hospital.

I arrived at the hospital and everyone was there. We all went up to Midoriya's room first. Kaminari led the way and once we found the room. Kaminari knocked and then opened the door.

"Ahh, Midoriya, you're awake!" he said as he walked in, "Did you see the news?"

We all walked in after him and Mineta told him how they bought a melon for him. 

"I caused you trouble, Midoriya," Tokoyami said

"No, I did, too...Did everyone from Class A come?" he asked

"No, Hagakure and Jiro are still unconscious from the villain's gas," Iida explained, "And Yaoyorozu also got hit hard in the head and is hospitalized here. Apparently, she gained consciousness yesterday. So everyone, but those three came..."

"Sixteen of us," Uraraka said

"Because Bakugo and Satsuki aren't here," I added

"Todoroki!" Ashido said

"All Might said, 'I can't save the people I can't reach.' That's why he will always save the people he can reach. I...was in a place where I could reach...I had to save them. That's what my Quirk is for...it's exactly like what Mr. Aizawa said to me. My body...wouldn't move...it was all I could do was save Kota. I couldn't save someone right in front of me,"

"Then, let's save them this time," Kirishima suggested, "Actually, Todoroki and I were here yesterday, too. On our way to your room, we saw All Might and a police officer talking to Yaoyorozu. She said that one of her trackers was placed onto the Nomu that was at the camp and that she had a receiver for that tracking device,"

"Does this mean you're going to have Yaoyorozu make another receiver?" Iida asked

"What if it does?"

"It is as All Might said! This is something we should leave to the pros! This isn't the place for you to act, you idiots!" Iida yelled

"We know that!" Kirishima yelled, "But, I couldn't do anything! After, I heard that my friend was being targeted! I couldn't do anything! I didn't do anything! If I don't do anything now, I won't be a hero or a man anymore!" 

"Kirishima, we're in a hospital, calm down. It's okay to feel strongly about thins, but this time--"

"Iida's right," Yuna said

"Iida, all of you, are all correct. I know that, but...hey, Midoriya, your hand can still reach!"

"I wanna get Satsuki back as much as you do, Todoroki, but you can't just run in headfirst. Or else we'd ending losing you or Kirishima or Bakugo or Satsuki. It's best to leave it to the pros," Yuna whispered 

"No, I won't wait. I can't wait," I whispered back

"We can go save them!" Kirishima said holding his hand out to Midoriya

"So, in short, you're planning on getting the receiver from Yao-momo, following it,  and going to save Bakugo and Satsuki yourselves?" Ashido said

"Yeah," Kirishima answered

"Even though the villains said we were targets to be killed, they took Bakugo and Satsuki without killing them, even though Satsuki was badly injured. They probably let them live, but that doesn't mean they won't kill them eventually," I said, "Kirishima and I are going,"

"Don't go overboard with your messing around!" Iida yelled

"Wait. Calm down," Shoji said, "I understand Kirishima's frustration at not being able to do anything and Todoroki's frustration of having them stolen right in front of his eyes but, this isn't a situation where we should act on our emotions. Right?"

"L-let's leave this to All Might. Mr. Aizawa's permission to fight at the training camp has been rescinded too," Aoyama added

"Aoyama's right," Tokoyami agreed, "I can't say much since I was one who needed saving, though..."

"But--" Kirishima began

"Everyone, we're all shocked from Satsuki and Bakugo's kidnapping, but let's think things through calmly," Asui said, "No matter how just your feelings if you're saying you'll fight again...that you'll break the rules...those acts are the same as those of villains,"

"Our society is already questioning UA and heroes, if you go through with this and one of you gets killed or injured, then wouldn't the villains be winning again. I want to save them, but like Tsu said let's think this through calmly," Yuna added

We were all silent when the door opened and the doctor came in.

"Sorry to interrupt. It's time for Midoriya's exam," he said

"Wh-Why don't we go?" Sero suggested, "I want to how Jiro and Hagakure are doing, too,"

"Yeah," Yuna said

"Bye, Deku, feel better soon," Uraraka said

"Thanks all of you," 

Everyone had left except for Kirishima and me. 

"We talked to Yaoyorozu yesterday," Kirishima began, "If we go, we go right away, tonight, since you were seriously injured, I don't know if you can move but we still wanted to invite you because you're probably the most frustrated out of everyone. We'll be waiting in front of the hospital tonight,"

I left the room and saw Yuna standing by the door. She looked at me and opened her mouth to speak...

"So, you're going tonight?"

"Yeah,"

"Idiot. I'm not going to stop you because it's pointless to even try. I will say this,  you're being irrational and if you want to get yourself killed then go ahead. I won't stop you," 

She turned on her heel and walked away

Yuna POV

I made my way back home after visiting Jiro and Hagakure. I had arrived home and opened the door and walked in. 

"Hey, Misa, how was-" Mom asked 

I ignored her and walked to my room and closed the door. That's when my phone rang and it was Amy.

"Hello,"

"Hey, Misa, how've you been? I heard what happened at your training camp," 

I clenched my teeth and curled my hand into a fist.

"Really?" 

"Yeah, I'm sorry, for what happened, but I'm glad you're ok,"

I was silent.

"Misa?"

"Hi, yeah, I'm here. I gotta go, we're gonna eat dinner soon, bye," I hung up

'I wasn't fast enough, why didn't I stay with her? I want to save her, but I'm weak, I can't,'

"Why am I so weak!?" I said as I punched my wall

I fell to my knees and I could feel my eyes burn with tears. My parents opened the door and they looked worried.

"Misa!" Mom said clearly worried

"I wish I could've done something. I wish I could've been her teammate. If I was she might still be ok," I told her the tears running down my face

Mom pulled me into a hug and tried to comfort me.

'Todoroki, Kirishima, bring them back safely, and don't get yourselves killed,' I thought, 'Hehe, I'm such a hypocrite,' 

After, all of that, my mom and I walked out of my room and went to go eat dinner. Dad had already set the table and was waiting for us to come and sit. 

"Thank you for the food," I said

"Thank you for the food," they said as well

I began eating when I realized that my parents were staring at me. I looked up at them and my dad looked at my mom and he cleared his throat.

"Misa, are sure you want to pursue this path of becoming a hero?" he began, "You've been doing well, and we're proud, but with these attacks, I'm worried. I just want you to be safe, so if you decide to transfer out of the hero course we'll-"

"No, I won't transfer out. I'll stay in the hero course, get my license, and make sure that nothing like this happens again. I'll make those damn villains pay," I said
