A friend of mine wanted me to do this, so I did because they said they would hate me if I didn't (They were joking)

Todoroki"s P.O.V

I was waiting for Izuku to come home from work. Today was our 1 year anniversary and I was nervous yet excited. I went through and made sure everything was set. I spent all day cleaning the apartment to make my plan perfect. Afterward, I went out and bought a bunch of different colored roses. I plucked the petals off of some of them to lie on the floor, leading to the room. I made sure that I did this closer to when Izuku would be home so the petals won't wilt. I had my speech memorized and flowers in my hand. Izuku texted me that he would be home in about 5 minutes. I made sure all of the candles were lit and that none of the lights were on. I stand up straight when the door opens.

"Sho, babe?" Izuku called out. "I'm home!" He hollered right after. I heard Izuku's footsteps echoing in the apartment, becoming louder, indicating that he was getting closer to me. I see Izuku stand in the doorway. He had a blue and black flannel on with black skinny jeans. His classic red shoes covered his feet. I take a deep breath and speak.

"Red. The color of love. A red rose to show my love and my silent way of telling you "I love you." Pink. The color for admiration, gentleness, grace, gladness, joy, and sweetness. A pick rose to tell you how I admire you, how gentle you are, how graceful you are, how much joy you bring me, and how sweet you have been to me over this year. Yellow. The color of friendship. A yellow rose to show we started off as friends, but soon became much more. White. The color of purity, innocence, and charm. A white rose to show that every day will be pure with you in my life and how innocent and charming our love is. Orange. The color of enthusiasm. An orange rose to show our passion in our relationship and our enthusiasm when we're together. Lavender. The color of love at first sight. A lavender rose that represents how I felt when I first saw you. Salmon. The color of desire. A salmon rose to represent our shared desire for each other. Peach. The color of appreciation and gratitude. A peach rose for my appreciation and gratitude to have you in my life. Cream. The color of thoughtfulness. A cream rose for how thoughtful you are to me and how much we both care for each other. Green. The color for cheerfulness and life. A green rose because I'm so cheerful when I'm with you and how I want to spend my life with you." I finish up my speech and give Izuku the roses. He has tears in his eyes, but I'm not done. I get on one knee and pull a felt box out of my pocket. Izuku's tears are now streaming out of his eyes. I open up the box and continue speaking. "I love you so much, Izuku. I would hate myself if I didn't spend the rest of my life with you. You are the one. So, Izuku Midoriya, will you be my husband and become Izuku Todoroki?" I ask, looking up with hope in my eyes. Izuku nodded vigorously.

"Yes! Yes! Yes! Oh, God yes!" Izuku shouted, pouncing on me. I pull the ring out of the box and slip it on his hand. I another rose that is next to me. There was a rose in the shop that had a mutation and was a mix of green and red.

"And a red and green rose. This rose represents new beginnings and the love we will have for the rest of our lives and how much we will be cheerful with each other. I love you." I say, giving him the special rose.

Time Skip

"Wanna know what's funny?" Izuku asked while we were walking around the town that's lit by candles and dim lights. I nod and he continues. "I was going to propose to you tonight, but you beat me to it."

I know it's short, but this was fun to write. I also got the idea and I knew that my one brain cell would forget in 5 minutes.
