Episode 2 / Monday, January 21st 2019
Today it's Monday, January 21st 2019 and today is Martin Luther King Day. I am sorry for not updating and I hope everyone has enjoyed the start to 2019. Anyway today is the 30th Day of the Government Shutdown and honestly there is nothing much we can do at this point. It has become a power struggle between the President and Congress.
Meanwhile also what happened in Washington was teens heckling a poor Native American. Such a sad and shameful act I mean honestly why would anyone heckle someone. This is what is wrong with this world with people thinking it's okay to be rude. Honestly, it's so annoying to know that America is getting this way.
Across the ocean in Europe protests occurred over the weekend in Greece. The United Kingdom remains in chaos after the failed vote in the House of Commons. As for when the world will get back in place who knows.
Funny Video of the Day

I'm sorry but if you don't think this video is funny you are crazy because honestly who doesn't like Scottish Mums getting angry. Always remember to flush kids because it is an essential part of life.
Anyway, before we get on with the rest let's take a moment to remember someone
Martin Luther King, Jr., original name Michael King, Jr., (born January 15, 1929, Atlanta, U.S.—died April 4, 1968, Tennessee), minister and social activist who led them in the from the mid-1950s until his death by assassination in 1968. His leadership was fundamental to that movement's success in ending the legal of in the South and other parts of the United States. King rose to national prominence as head of the, which promoted, such as the massive (1963), to achieve. He was awarded the in 1964.
It is always important to remember the people who helped make history and their historical impact on the world. I know it sounds like it happened a long time ago but always remember that it is important to remember these things
So Mario what can you tell us about yourself?
Well for starters, you can call me Jo. Aside from this, my 5 year anniversary of being on Wattpad is coming up soon, I'm super excited
So what was your first project when you joined Wattpad?
It was years ago! It was my book "Total Mario Island" but I'm kind of disappointed with the outcome of it, you see it has soooo many errors that I wish I could go back in time and just fix.
What were the first books you read from the Mario Community when you joined Wattpad?
That's a throwback! I'm not sure I recall exactly but I do remember that many of those books belonged to creators that have left Wattpad.
Do you feel like the Wattpad community has changed over the years?
Sadly, yes. Back in the 2015-16 era I felt like I was apart of something, I really enjoyed the Mario community and now I feel like it's been dispersed. Before, I had so many people to talk to and now I only have a few people who aren't apart of the Discord community that I chat with here and there. I'm not really someone to care if I have 100 reads vs. 30 reads on a chapter nor am I one to complain but I have seen a decline in the appreciation in not only my works but my fellow companions works. But let's not revolve around all this negativity, I truly believe that each Wattpad era is different and unique in it's own ways. 2015-16 was a time where I was more connected, but I believe 2019 can be different, for everyone. With the Discord server bringing together so many people I do believe that 2019 can be our year.
Where do you see the community in 5 years?
Woah! I can't imagine similar to how I couldn't imagine to have still been apart of this community now that my 5 year anniversary is approaching. I'm gonna be real honest with you, I believe that in 5 years my departure from the community will be apparent. My only true desire is that the community continues to flourish and for there to be people joining left and right.
Do you have a closing statement for the readers of "Today With Me"?
Thank you all for reading my interview today! I encourage you all to join the Mario Fanfiction Discord server! I promise you'll have a blast!
Anyway everyone thanks you for reading the "Today With Me" episode for today come back Next Friday for a new episode! Also a new interview anyway don't forget to vote goodbye!
