Now I believe that we will have soon another revolution. The knowledge now is in life sciences: Biomedical, Biochemistry and Biotechnology.

Everything that kill a human could be seen as a weapon. And this new skills studies mortal diseases, genetic models to made man puppies or man destroyers, biological or chemical weapons and medicines that could control the well-being of a society.

The great difference between life sciences or technology is that humans are not machines. The logical behavior in a machine don't apply in biological systems. That's the main motive used by politicians in conflict situations: speculation!

The knowledge and behavior of a virus or a bacterium are a strategic player in our days. And probably so lethal as a nuclear missile, more cheaper to develop and easy to transport. For example put a bacterium in the water cycle, with capacity to develop slowly, with no antibiotic (these bacterium exists in environment), and also resistant to water treatment, could be a dangerous weapon and very difficult to find the responsible. 

This is a fiction story, I presume. In fact in European countries the security is more focused in military force. The nuclear alternative seems to be gone with the German wall.

The National Budgets for 2021, mainly in Europe, establish goals in health care and biomedical investigation and, at the same time, reduce military support and importance.

However many Europeans wants to follow the British decision and get out from the euro zone. And this is a social revolution in many people life's. Why do you ask?

First political will. Many of us feel the change. Mainly the older, like me.

Second the change is natural like our life. The young people, man and woman, have a different look, like I did when I was a new adult.

Third the society needs to change, even for my eyes are a mistake. I presume changing make part of humans.

Fourth the global seems to be replaced by the old frontier. Some economies thanks that change. But others will loose welfare. This is the mystery of living in this planet. Some politicians are preparing a new economic vision betting in the internal market.

Fifth, the controversy of Climate Changes. Some politicians think the food will be the great discussion. Associated with food are the raw water, rain, organic soils, people to work in primary sector, seeds and adequate weather for each cultivation.

So the biological business seems to be the next market who are going to support the next revolution and, off course, the digital know-how, or better the Bioinformatics.

Who has this knowledge? Why Donald Trump do not like the WHO? What are the Laboratories that have saved the samples of virus and bacterium known by the humankind? Who control these samples very well kept? 

Probably these questions will be our next challenge. 

However the normal citizen  must be prepared. Good question, Antonio, but how? If I am a Latin teacher what is my future?
