Confession

If our chief end

is to glorify Him

why are we blazing trails

to endless numbing hypnotic sins;

renting vast tracts of our soul

to the enemy within?

I confess my love for God

and bring Him glory

till the setting sun

shall bring me home

to the throne of the sitting Son
