"I was hoping she'd be here, but she isn't" Emily said. "Do you think Spencer just didn't get your S.O.S" Aria asked.

"Maybe but she must have gotten one of the other twelve messages we sent" Emily said and looked at Ava. "Ava how are you, are you okay" Emily asked.

"I'm fine" Ava said. "Are you sure" Aria asked Ava.

"Yeah, and look I was going to tell you guys about Toby but apparently didn't like the idea very much considering he nearly downed me" Ava said. "Ava" Emily said when Ava interrupted.

"I'm fine Mike saved me, for now let's focus on Spencer" Ava said.

"Okay you guys she has ditched school before alright it's not a big deal" Hanna said. "Yeah, you're right I guess" Aria said.

"Okay we just need to get through today if she doesn't call or show up, we'll go to her house after school" Emily said. "Text me any updates" Ava said and left.

"Guys I think we should keep an eye on Ava she may say she's fine, but she just found out her brother is A I can't imagine her being okay after that" Aria said.

"Especially with the part her brother tried to drown her" Hanna said and the bell rang.

The girls went to leave but was stopped by the principal.

"Girls good you're all together well except Ava but we managed to find her before she ran off" he said as Aria, Hanna, and Emily saw Ava next to Melissa.

"I think you know Spencer's sister Melissa" he said. "Have you seen Spencer have you talked to her" Melissa asked. "Not today" Emily said. "Is something wrong" Aria asked.

"Spencer didn't come home last night she's not answering her phone I was hoping she was here with you which is why I came here before I went to the police" Melissa said. "Police" Hanna asked.

"I understand Spencer's been a little distracted lately was there something on her mind that she shared with you anything on her plans" the principal asked.

"No Mr. Hackett um she hasn't said anything to us" Emily said. "You're her friends" Melissa said when Ava interrupted.

"That doesn't mean she shared everything with us we don't keep up with every little thing she does now if you excuse me, I have class" Ava said and left.

"Uh don't mind her she's just been going through something" Hanna said.

"Ava, are you sure you're okay your usually with the girls" Noel said walking out of the school with Ava. "Yeah, I'm fine I just I, it's a long story" Ava said.

"Anything I can help with we are family" Noel said. "No, no it's okay but thanks" Ava said and Noel nodded.

"Are you sure you're okay you seem different" Noel said. "I'm fine" Ava said and Noel nodded even though he didn't believe her.

"Can you give me a ride to Jason's" Ava asked. "Yeah, come on" Noel said leading her.

"You're starting to worry me" Mike said putting his book down and looked at Ava.

"How so" Ava asked. "You're not acting like you; you don't smile as much if you do it's with me or your friends you act like everything is okay when truth is your falling apart" Mike said and Ava looked at him.

"Other people may not see it but I do" Mike said. "Ava what's going on" Mike asked.

"I can't tell you cause if I do, you'll be a part of it and then you'll get hurt and I can't be the reason why you get hurt" Ava said.

"Ava" Mike said. "I'm gonna go order some food" Ava said and left while Mike sighed.

"Okay so now that you ate you, going to tell me what's going on" Mike asked Ava. "Mike" Ava said.

"Ava I'm not going anywhere not till you tell me what's going on I love you and you mean more to me than anyone else I'd die for you, and you know it" Mike said.

"You really want to know" Ava asked giving in. "I do because whatever it is it's worrying me my girlfriend is in pain and it's my job to ease your pain so, please tell me what's going on" Mike said.

"Once I say this there's no going back and you can't tell anyone ever" Ava said. "I won't" Mike sis and Ava sighed.

"Okay" Ava said sighing. "It all started with a text the beginning of the school year" Ava said.
