"The text said the busy bee inn" Aria said. "Can't this thing go any faster" Aria asked. "It's hard to see out here there's no lights on this road" Spencer said.

"The GPS says it's a mile straight ahead" Aria said. "If A's been at the inn since he sent that text aren't we gonna be too late to help Ali" Hanna asked.

"I hope not" Ava said. "Well, we won't know that until we get there" Spencer said.

"That's if Ali's even there we're going off something she wrote in a journal two years ago" Emily said and they all stayed silent.

"There it is turn right" Aria said.  Spencer did as they said and parked the car as they all got out and went in the building.

"Well, someone was definitely staying in this creepy place" Ava said seeing a mattress. "What happened here" Hanna asked "looks like there was some kind of a struggle" Spencer said.

"I could definitely see Ali wearing this" Aria said showing a shirt. "If Ali was here, where did she go" Hanna asked. "Maybe she fought A off and got away" Emily said.

"Yeah, or he took her somewhere else" Spencer said. "Or worse" Aria said.

"Guys look at this" Ava said seeing a message on the wall causing Aria, Spencer, Emily, and Hanna to look. "You're too late - A" the message said.

"You told them" Mike asked leaning again the wall in Ava's room.

"It's not like I had a choice they would have figured it out sooner or later or Spencer would've" Ava said.

"How did Aria take it" Mike asked. "Pretty well actually" Ava said. "And the others" Mike asked.

"Surprised but well understandably so" Ava said. "I miss when A didn't involve you in things" Mike said. "Trust me you're not the only one" Ava said and Toby walked in.

"I'm heading out do you guys want anything" Toby asked. "We're fine" Ava said. "If anything changes, we'll call" Mike said and Toby nodded and left.

"Come on I brought your favorite movie so we can discuss something other than A" Mike said.

"As fun as that is can't we just go out for ice cream" Ava asked. "Sure" Mike said, and Ava smiled.

"Spence hey what's up" Ava asked once she answered her phone. "Did you know Jason was in rehab" Spencer asked.

"No but that would explain a lot" Ava said. "My dad and Mrs. DiLaurentis have been keeping it a secret I thought you'd like to know" Spencer said.

"Yeah thanks" Ava said. "Sure, hey I gotta go bye" Spencer said and hung up. "Everything okay" Mike asked. "Yeah, just found out Jason's in rehab" Ava said.

"What" Mike said. "Yeah, no wonder I haven't seen him" Ava said. "Are you okay" Mike asked.

"Yeah, hey I'm a Cavanaugh, a Kahn, and a DiLaurentis I can handle it" Ava said and Mike smiled at her before giving her a quick kiss on the lips.

"I told Shana to find out what Ali had said to me when she pulled me out of the barn" Emily said.

"When we were looking for Dr Sullivan" Aria asked, and Emily nodded. "What did Ali say to you" Spencer asked. "Uh that's something I want to keep just between us" Emily said.

"Well Shana's obviously lying I mean Ali never mentioned her name once" Hanna said.

"But there were also a lot of people in Ali's life we never knew about" Ava said. "Wait Shana knew Paige first so what are we saying that Paige is on Ali's list too" Spencer asked.

"I don't know maybe" Emily said. "Even if they were friends why would Ali trust Shana more than us" Aria asked.

"We were her best friends" Aria said. "Or we were supposed to be anyways" Ava added. "Are you forgetting" Emily asked.

"Someone's been tormenting us for years" Emily said.

"Making our lives miserable one text at a time" Hanna said.

"I think Shana's who we always thought she was one of A's minions and if wants us to stop looking for Ali then that must mean Ali wasn't hurt last night" Spencer said.

"So, A wants us to believe Shana's story so we stop looking for Ali and he can find her" Hanna said.

"Come on Em you don't seriously believe that Shana moved all the way up from Georgia so she could hunt down the person who tried to kill her childhood friend do you" Aria asked.

"Ali could make someone love her enough to do that" Emily said. "Em be careful and dont hesitate to call for backup" Ava said.

"Shana knew the conversation we had outside the barn word for word" Emily said. "Well A has a way of knowing things that seem impossible to know" Spencer said.

"Well, I looked into it and her story checked out Shana did grow up next door to Ali's grandparents" Emily said.

"That doesn't mean she's in contact with her now" Spencer said. "Doesn't mean she isn't" Ava said.

"Look I took pictures of some of the stories on Ali's journal before A got it and there are descriptions of other places that she could be hiding we can keep looking" Spencer said.

"Ali wants to meet me tonight" Emily said. "And Ava" Emily added as Ava looked at Emily. "Like she wanted to meet you at the kissing rock yesterday" Spencer said.

"She needs our help Spence" Emily said. "Did Shana tell you this" Spencer asked.

"Does it matter we have to see this through Spence" Ava said. "Look even if this were true why would Ali only want to meet with you and Ava" Spencer asked.

"I'm her niece not just yours Spence" Ava said. "I don't know maybe A can't watch all of us all the time" Emily said.

"Look I know you wanna believe that this is Alison reaching out to you but it's not Ali okay this is A" Spencer said. "I don't think so not this time" Emily said.

"Just because Shana knows about this one conversation you and Ali had" Spencer asked.

"Yes" Emily said. "Well, you and Ava are not going alone" Spencer said.

"That's the only way she'll meet us Spencer, I told you because I didn't want to lie to you okay don't make me sorry that I did" Emily said.

"Where are we meeting her" Ava asked Emily breaking the tension.

"Are you ready" Ava asked going towards Emily. "Yeah, are you" Emily asked back. "I'm not so sure anymore" Ava said.

"Hey, try not to worry okay I know it's Ali and I'll be with you the entire time if I'm wrong okay" Emily said.

"Okay" Ava said and smiled. "Come on" Emily said and left with Ava.

"You're not coming in" Emily asked Shana. Shana shook her head no as Ava and Emily unbuckled and got out of the car going inside the building.

Suddenly they heard a bang and turned around. "Ali" Ava said before she and Emily turned back around to be face to face with Alison. "It's really you" Emily said.

"I've missed you both so much" Alison said. "Group hug" Ava asked and Alison nodded.

Alison, Ava, and Emily all hugged. "You have no idea how hard it's been to stay away" Alison said.

"Then don't anymore" Emily said and pulled away from Alison with Ava. "Let us help you we can help we want to help" Ava said. "We can go to the police or your parents" Emily said.

"I wish I could I just don't know who I can trust" Alison said. "You can trust me, Ava, Spencer, Aria" Emily said.

"I know I can trust you and Ava, Em I'm just not sure about them" Alison said. "Why" Emily asked.

"You never stopped caring about me did you even after everything I put you through you don't know how much I regret hurting you" Alison said.

"Ava, I saw your mother" Alison said to Ava getting her attention. "And believe me you don't want to know her she's awful" Alison said. "What do you mean" Ava asked. 

"Just trust me okay" Alison said and Ava nodded. "If I could do it all over again things would be so different" Alison said.

"Who's doing this to you" Emily asked. "Tell me who you're hiding from" Emily said.

"I thought I knew but I was wrong that why I need you Em and you, too my sweet Avs help me find A so I can come home" Alison said. "So that's who you think tried to kill you" Emily said.

Suddenly they all heard a clatter. "What was that who's out there" Alison asked. "Did you tell anyone about this" Alison asked Emily and Ava.

Emily and Ava were silent when they heard a clatter again and turned around when Alison ran off. Only the noise to be revealed as Spencer.

Emily and Ava turned around seeing Alison leaving. "Ali wait" Emily said. "Ali please stay" Ava said. "Ali please open up Ali" Emily said banging on the elevator with Ava.

"Ali open up please" Ava said. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry please Ali I just want to talk" Emily said.

When the elevator opened back up Alison was gone. Emily and Ava turned back around and faced Spencer.

"Split up maybe she's still here" Ava said and they all looked for Alison only to have no luck as they met back up with each other.

"I don't understand, how could she just disappear like that" Spencer said. "She didn't disappear you scared her away I can't believe you followed us here Emily said to Spencer.

"I thought you and Ava were putting yourselves in danger" Spencer said. "Yeah, well you thought wrong" Emily said.

"I know I'm sorry" Spencer said. "You're gonna have to work harder than that I betrayed Alison she's never gonna reach out to me again" Emily said.

"She's still playing games with us" Spencer said realizing. "What are you talking about" Ava asked.

"Ali sucked you and Emily back in she knew Emily was pulling away and that's why she picked her, and she knew that as long as she was alive you wouldn't give up on her" Spencer said.

"She wanted to make you feel special so that you wouldn't give up on her" Spencer told Emily.

"That's sick" Emily said. "No, it's brilliant" Spencer said. "It wasn't like that okay she was different tonight she was sincere" Emily said.

"She can trust you and Ava but she's not sure about the rest of us don't you get it she's trying to divide us" Spencer said. "She wouldn't do that" Ava said.

"Wouldn't she" Spencer said. "Wait you were listening, this whole time" Emily asked. "We can't let her come between us" Spencer said.

"I'd say you're doing a really great job of that all on your own" Emily said. "I'm sorry" Spencer said going to touch Emily when Emily shrugged her off.

"Don't" Emily yelled. "Ava" Spencer said going to touch her when Ava shrugged her off.

"Don't touch me" Ava said. "Em let's go" Ava said leaving with Emily.
