"Emily I'm so sorry for everything I know we've had a disconnect lately I hope you'll give me a chance to explain I have to show you something don't call my cell someone stole it meet me at" Hanna said reading the note and stopped.

"Meet me where" Aria asked. "I don't know I can't tell it looks like it's been washed out by the rain" Hanna said.

"Are you sure this is from Maya" Spencer asked Emily. "Positive" Emily said. "I wonder what she wanted to show you" Spencer said. "Whatever it was there's no way of knowing now" Ava said.

"The police have said all along that she probably found something that proved Garrett killed Ali" Aria said.

"Which is why she was killed" Hanna said. "Poor Ali she didn't deserve that that" Ava said.

"Okay you guys we need to slow down because we have no idea when Maya wrote that note and it could have been any time after Emily moved in here with you" Hanna said motioning to Hanna with the last part.

"It looks like there's a date on the top right corner look" Aria said and gave the note to Spencer causing Emily, Spencer, and Ava to look.

"Oh my god" Emily said. "Em" Ava said concerned. "Maya wrote this the day she died" Emily said.

"Hey, I'm heading out" Ava said once she saw Jason. "Where you heading" Jason asked.

"Meeting Noel before school ever since he found out we were related he wants to do some cousin bonding and then after I'll be with the girls" Ava said.

"Just please stay safe" Jason said. "I promise I will okay" Ava said.

"I mean it Ava if something is wrong you call me, I don't care what I'm doing you are more important" Jason said. "I will" Ava said. "Okay" Jason said. "See you soon" Ava said and left.

"So, I saw you still hang with the girls" Noel said. "Noel don't start okay I get that things didn't work with Aria, but it is not your business who she dates even if it is weird" Ava said.

"So I guess you don't like her new boyfriend" Noel said. "Okay new rule whatever I say to you stays between us" Ava said.

"Okay" Noel said, and Ava looked at him. "I mean it, I'm serious we're family I'll keep my word promise" Noel said.

"If I find out you didn't, you'll be running for the hills" Ava said.

"I promise okay hey we're family" Noel said. "Fine okay I don't like how they got together no it be different if they waited or if she was older and I swear if you repeat this, I will never speak to you again" Ava said.

"I won't" Noel said. "Okay" Ava said. "You know it's kind of nice having a cousin around" Noel said.

"You don't have cousins around here" Ava asked. "No not really" Noel said.

"Oh" Ava said. "I was never really close with them anyways but I'm hoping I can change that with you I want us to be close" Noel said. "I'd like that too" Ava said.

Spencer and Ava saw Emily and made their way to her sitting next to her. "How many times have you reread that" Spencer asked.

"Too many" Emily said. "Didn't you and Maya have a spot that you liked to hang out at by the lake" Spencer asked. "Yeah, I was just there with Nate the other day" Emily said.

"Maybe that's where she wanted you to meet her" Spencer said. "It could be possible Em that was your favorite place together I don't remember you not going there without her" Ava said.

"We could go together Ava and I could help you take a look around" Spencer said.

"I don't even know what I'm supposed to be looking for" Emily said. "Have you heard from Toby" Emily asked Spencer.

"He called last night he's waiting on a permit for the loft, so he took a job in Bucks County" Spencer said.

"What about you Ava, have you heard from your brother" Emily asked. "Yeah, he checks in" Ava said. "Honestly I'm relieved he's not here I'm not lying to him" Spencer said.

"Yeah, lying to Toby is like lying to the Dalai Lama" Emily said.

"I don't know how much more of this A I can handle I mean I survived Mona with straight A's and now I'm like failing everything even physics" Spencer said.

"Spence it's gonna be okay and a B is far from failing" Emily said.

"You're still hanging in there Spence we all are okay I don't like this A either, but we don't have a choice we can't afford to tell someone, and they get hurt because of it I don't know about you but I rather I get hurt then anyone I care about" Ava said.

"B is for bad" Spencer said. "Gee I wonder how you would be like if you were actually failing" Ava said and Paige came over. "Hey guys" Paige said.

"Hey Paige, how are you" Ava asked. "I'm good thanks" Paige said. "Hey Paige" Spencer said to her before facing Emily. "Um I'll talk to you later" Spencer said.

"Yeah" Emily said. "Come on Ava" Spencer said and left with her.

"So how is the cousin bonding going with Noel" Mike asked Ava. "Uh going I guess" Ava said before closing her locker. 

"It's just still taking some used to you know I just got used to the idea of being a DiLaurentis but now a Kahn I know I'll eventually get used to it but" Ava said.

"Hey, you don't have to explain anything to me okay I know you and I know you will do what's best for you" Mike said and Ava smiled.

"I just hope there's no more surprise family members" Ava said, and Mike laughed. "You never know" Mike said and Ava kissed his cheek when the bell rang.

Mike put his arm around Ava, and they left together.

Ava was with Mike at the Montgomery house studying together.

"Any idea when your brother will be back" Mike asked. "Soon I think" Ava said. "And how are things going with Jason" Mike asked.

"Great actually he's the dad I've always wished I had growing up" Ava said and Mike smiled at her.

"Sometimes dreams do come true Ava you know that right" Mike asked.

"Yes, I know" Ava said. "Good" Mike said and gave her a quick kiss before they went back to studying.

"You need to see this" Spencer said showing a video. Spencer pressed play and Ava, Hanna, Aria, and Spencer all watched. "Wait Noel was there that night" Hanna asked.

"And Jenna" Ava said seeing Noel kiss Jenna in the video. "So, they were still together then" Hanna said.

"Yeah, keep watching" Spencer said. When Jenna and Noel went in the cabin Maya came out.

Maya went to get in the car but looked back for a moment when she was grabbed. "Oh my god what just happened" Hanna asked. "Look" Spencer said and rewinded the video.

"Han that could not have been Jenna or Noel they just went inside" Aria said.

"Then it must have been Garrett" Hanna said. "It can't be he was arrested at my house at midnight" Spencer said.

"So, what does that mean" Hanna asked. "It means that none of them killed Maya" Spencer said. "Wait if they didn't kill Maya then who did" Ava asked.
