Sometimes I think it can fit the character well and I like how it can blend with canon (*shuffles*...aph.....italy.......)

But if you're gonna be "Sorry _____ is a demiboy I don't write the rules" and claim its 100% canon...honey ur wrong

I have legit seen posts that have said "if a trans person makes a character trans they're canonically trans!!!"

Canon means the /creators/ claim it's /true/
If there's
A) no episode/panel/book/song/whatever that claims specifically the character does or is something
B) no creator that said that character did or is something at a panel
C) leaked offical art/writing that shows character is doing/is something

for example, APH Finland liking hevay metal is a funny headcanon tossed in the Hetalia fandom
hOWEVER

He canonly is a chubbean and gosh diddly darnit I love it
(Evertime a fangirl draws Finland with abs a kitten dies)

Thats the difference. A fandom or a person comes together to a conculsion that may fit canon but it isn't fucking official/in stone.

Just because you're a minority doesn't mean you automatically own rights to shows
