First you draw le sketch (MAKE SURE ITS LIGHT I've made this mistake so many times hnn)

Until you can still slightly see the drawing

then I whip out the prismacolour maker (a copic marker will do too) with a shade of colour relative to the skin colour of the character and use the fine tip to outline
I outline everything in this drawing with that colour except the pupils

It doesn't matter if the outline is bad however because this isn't the final lineart ;v;

I then colour in the skin using circular motions so that it spreads out evenly among the area

then I use another marker that has a deeper tone to it and I use stroke movements to add shading

Then I quickly add more of the original skin colour to the shaded spots so that the colours can blend

Then for the lips I use a pinkish or red colour by dabbing it on applying some force and then using the original skin color to blend it it

I usually do the shading in the eyes before I colour in the pupils and I do this by using stroking movements with a light blue colour and then adding on a darker colour than that.

For the blush I use a darkish pink with circular motions and then I add the original skin colour to make it blend

For the eyes I start off with the lightest colour then add on the darker colours in layers to make the eyes more....

for the next I do strokes with the lighter colour then add on the darker colour with strokes as well

For the arms & legs I do strokes with the orignal colour by starting at certain points to make the arms look shiny, and for the hands I use circular motions, applying pressure to the top and gradually getting softer as I go down the hand

Then I add the darker colour to the joints of the arms, the shoulders and the fingers

Same method for the legs ^

Then I colour in the dress using any colouring style (strokes and circular movements) however for this dress I'm going to make it have colourful polka dots so I'm leaving the spot parts blank

I then colored in the spots and now I'm going to use a darker colour of the dress to add shading

Once the dark colour has been added using strokes, I then use the original colour of the dress to blend it in
