It was a snowy evening over Toadtown. A blizzard was hitting the town that evening, and snow fell lightly as toads were sound asleep. At the Peach Castle, Toad and Toadette were in the dining room having a midnight snack. Yoshi then walked into the dining room as well.

"I can't sleep," replied Yoshi as he poured hot water in a cup.

"Can you pass the creamer," asked Toadette.

"Well at least we're all together," replied Toad warmly.

Toadette looked at him and smiled as she mixed the creamer in her coffee than Yoshi noticed the lights flicker above them. Luckily the castle was warm and toasty compared to outside. Toad then jumped as he heard a rumbling coming from the vent and looked at it.

"Is that something in the vent?" asked Toadette

Across Toadtown, Mario and Luigi were at their house sleeping soundly. They had decided to stay at their house during the blizzard. The wind was whipping around Toadtown, Mario was sound asleep when he suddenly heard a loud noise and he woke up. He ran to the window and gasped to see a tree had fallen in their garden.

"I hope a tree doesn't hit our house," said Mario to himself.

At the castle, the group was still in the dining room hanging out when Peach entered.

"The lights in my room won't stop flickering," said Peachas as she sat down.

"Peach, I think there may be something inside the vent," replied Toad.

"It may just be the heating making noises," replied Peach

Suddenly the power cut off and the room went pitch black. Toadette screamed from fear and Yoshi grabbed a nearby flashlight. He turned it out to light up the room, outside the wind continued howling and the group decided it would be a good idea to get to Peach's room. They ventured out into the hallway and the outside noises of wind made the old castle seem eerie. Then out of the blue Yoshi heard a loud groaning noise coming from above.

"Uh what was that?" asked Yoshi

"I think that's the noise I heard," replied Toad quietly.

Yoshi and the group began to run upstairs to investigate; they had no idea what it could be. Suddenly Toadette heard a snap noise and screamed, there were two large noises at once and the group gasped. Fog filled the hallway and the group gasped as it settled to see the roof above them had collapsed letting in two large snow piles in front of them and behind them.

"Oh, this is just great, what the hell." gasped Toad.

Peach looked around to see if there were any exits for them to take.

"That noise must've been the roof," replied Yoshi.

Toadette sighed as she and the rest of the group realized they didn't have their phones.

"We're snowed in," Peach said nervously.

Everyone gasped and then Toadette ran to the snow and tried to dig at it but it was so heavy and compact. Yoshi grabbed a vase and was about to use it to start digging when Peach screamed.

"NO," screamed Mario loudly.

"What what," gasped Luigi being awakened.

"I feel something has happened to the princess," replied Mario

"Oh no she's probably been kidnapped," replied Luigi.

Quickly Mario and Luigi jumped into action and changed and got their gear. Luigi opened the front door and began to run when suddenly he slipped on the sidewalk and yelped as he hit it then he felt Mario hit him from behind, as he had tripped as well.

"This won't be easy," replied Mario with a sigh.

At the castle, Yoshi and the group had climbed into the tower attic through a vault on the ceiling. Toad peaked in the boxes for anything useful and Peach was looking for blankets. They had decided they would stay there the night. Outside the castle, Mario and Luigi were arriving and began to bang on the door when they heard a noise coming from the vent.

"I don't feel good about this," said Mario to himself.

Mario and Luigi grabbed a large item and burst through the door.

"PRINCESS PRINCESS," screamed Mario.

As he and his brother ran up the stairs through the dark castle. Mario was opening every door when suddenly he saw the source of the loud noise.

"Toadsworth?" gasped Mario.

The next morning after digging, Mario and Luigi were able to get all the snow out of the hallway. He helped the gang down from the attic and everyone was grateful.

"Thank you for coming to rescue us Mario," replied Peach nicely.

"I can't believe that's what the loud noise was," gasped Toadette.

Toadsworth laughed as he couldn't believe his snoring was too loud to make it to the vents to echo. It had just been another night in Toadtown.

Hey friends, I hope everyone is well. I'm back! I do realize that I didn't publish the holiday pack episodes during December as I honestly forgot. It's been interesting rewriting these I hope to continue on! There's still a bit of content for the rest of the season to get through. See you all next Saturday!
