"I want you to clean this nasty mess at once!" yelled Peach

"Yes Princess," replied Toad.

Princess Peach was furious at Yoshi and Toad for making a mess in the guest room and neighboring rooms. Peach loved to keep a clean castle. Today, the government officials were coming over for an audience and Peach needed a clean castle. Peach walked out of the room and Toad and Yoshi were not happy.

"This isn't fair," wailed Toad.

"I know and I'm hungry," replied Yoshi.

"You just ate five packs of oatmeal cookies, what else could you need?" asked Toad

Yoshi stayed quiet and began to scrub the floor and Toad went to change the bed sheets. Yoshi as he scrubbed the floor could only think about how hungry he was. It wasn't easy staying on task especially when your tummy was rumbly. Outside of the castle, Mario and Luigi were in the garden joined by Daisy and they were looking at the flowering peach trees.

"Look Mario, a green peach!" exclaimed Luigi

"You mean sour peach," replied Mario.

Daisy and Mario began to laugh and Peach who happened to be on the other side of the shrubs was upset. How dare her friends call her Sour Peach? She stormed back inside the castle madly.

"How dare they call me that," mumbled Peach under breath.

A servant toad was walking down the hall with orange juice for the guests when Peach ran into him and the juice splattered on the floor.

"CLEAN THAT UP AT ONCE!" yelled Peach

"I'm sorry," replied the Toad sheepishly.

He scurried off and Peach continued her walk down the hallway. In the guest room, Yoshi and Toad were just finishing cleaning and they were quite impressed with the progress they made. Yoshi high fived Toad and then they peeked out the hallway to see the mess that was still left. Yoshi then heard the noise of the large castle door opening and ran to the window to see who it was. Toadsworth was greeting the government officials for their brunch.

The toads from the government made their way into the palace and Yoshi knew the princess would be mad if Toad and him didn't hurry quick to finish cleaning. In the tea room, Peach greeted her guests and they all sat down around a lovely table of tea and shroomberry pie. Above them upstairs Yoshi was lifting a large potted plant when he smelt something delightful. Toad and Yoshi ran to the vent and smelt something sweet and lovely.

"Mmm that smells like pie," remarked Toad.

"Yommy Yommy come on Toad," replied Yoshi excitedly.

Downstairs in the tea room, Mario and Luigi were arriving to join the brunch between Peach and the government officials. Ginger from the kitchen came in and brought tea cups and the teapots for tea. She also put down a fruit bowl and Mario grabbed a peach from the bowl. He took a large bite out of it and grimaced. He spit the peach out in the napkin and the toads gasped at such behavior.

"Sorry it was sour," remarked Mario.

"Haha sour peach," replied Luigi remembering the moment in the garden earlier.

The toads from the government remained quiet when one of them then looked at Peach and started to giggle. Soon the whole table burst out into laughter. In the kitchen Yoshi and Toad were just arriving they were looking at all the sweets Ginger had just made when they heard the door creak open. Ginger came in and saw Yoshi and Toad and grabbed a carrot and began to hit Yoshi and Toad with it.

"OUT OUT THE KITCHEN," she yelled.

Yoshi and Toad ran out but into the wrong exit into the tea room. Inside the tea room, it was awkwardly silent from the laughter when all of a sudden the door burst open and Yoshi and Toad came running being chased by Ginger. Suddenly Yoshi slipped on a liquid on the floor and went skating towards the table.

"YOSHI YOSHI," screeched Peach!

Yoshi crashed into the table and everyone gasped and Peach screamed as the table began to flip.

"OH MY GOD," yelled Toadette!

"What's wrong, bestie," asked Birdo??

"Is my blush right?" asked Toadette

"Yeah it looks fine," she replied.

Birdo and Toadette were just arriving at the castle and had no idea of what disaster had ensued inside. They arrived inside the tea room and gasped as the castle toads were quickly helping Peach up to her bedroom and they wondered what had happened. As Peach was hauled upstairs Toadette looked at Yoshi and Toad.

"What the hell happened?" asked Toadette

Yoshi and Toad looked at each other, upstairs the servants were fanning Peach trying to get to come back. Mario and Luigi arrived upstairs to see what they could do to help the princess to recover. Yoshi had run off downstairs he didn't want to get in trouble for what had happened. He ran downstairs into the old hallways of the castle. He opened an old wooden door and peered down the stairwell leading to the dungeons. It was quiet and eerie down there and Yoshi began practicing his lines he would have to give at court.

"I'm sorry, I promise it wasn't me it was an accident we all make mistakes," Yoshi muttered to himself.

Yoshi then came to the realization the best thing to do would try and help Peach now and maybe he would get a lighter sentence for injuring the princess. Yoshi burst into Peach's room.

"Peach, Peach please forgive me please don't send me to the dungeons." wailed Yoshi

Peach had woken up but had no idea what had happened within the day.

"Mario and Luigi? GET OUT you made a mess in my guest room!" yelled Peach

"Huh," replied Mario?

"You HEARD ME OUT!" yelled Peach

Yoshi smiled; it seemed that he had gotten away and wouldn't be seeing the dungeons after all.

Hello! Wow it's been nearly over 4 years since I've wrote a note on a story. In case you have no idea what's going on I'm rewriting my Toadtown series. I wanted to rewrite the stories due to the fact they are for the most part awful and I wanted to improve upon them. Some of the stories are challenged and may not be the best but we'll see what happens! I am an adult now and who has a job it's wild to think nearly 10 years ago when the first Toadtown series came out I was just finishing middle school. Anyway hopefully you all join me in this journey thank you for reading!
