It was a snowy winter morning over Toadtown snow-covered the whole town. The terraced houses and streets were all blanketed in snow. At Toadz Electronics the display window was empty with only one copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe remaining. Luckily the buyer was able to buy a copy before the blizzard had begun.

Over the hills and past the houses at Toad's House, he was annoyed. He was eating breakfast that morning sipping tea and looking at the newspaper. When he noticed that his house wasn't heating up properly. Annoyed Toad got up from his chair and left his tea and breakfast and ran upstairs.

"I wonder why it's not heating up," muttered Toad to himself.

Upstairs in the attic, the hatch opened and Toad climbed up and looked for the boiler. He turned his flashlight on and checked the boiler when he heard a creaking noise. He pointed his flashlight to the roof. He sighed annoyed and outside he was on his roof he had to seal the roof so it wouldn't collapse.

Toadette arrived for a visit and saw Toad on the roof and was quite confused.

"Toad whatcha doing on the roof," asked Toadette curiously?

"I had to seal the cracks in the roof the snow is weighing down," said Toad

Toadette watched as he took a bucket of sealer and then wondered if maybe knocking the snow off the roof would be better. Her phone then started ringing and she forgot all about the snow roof. On the roof, Toad was cold as he sealed the roof up and decided it would be enough so he could call a repairman tomorrow.

Toadette was still waiting while Toad was coming down the ladder. As he was coming down Mario and Luigi arrived and got off. Toadette was still on her call and Mario and Luigi called out.

"Hey Toad wanna play MarioKart 8," asked Luigi??

"OMG YES," said Toad.

He slid down the ladder quickly and landed in the snow and looked at the game.

"I'll go load on the switch," said Toad.

He ran in along with Mario and Luigi and Toadette was still on her call. She turned to the street and the sealer bucket fell off the roof into the snow. Sealer leaked all over the snow and onto the path. Inside Mario, Luigi and Toad were excited. Inside Toad then got an amazing idea for a contest.

"Let's play all the classes and whoever wins gets 100 gold coins," exclaimed Toad!!

Mario and Luigi laughed and sat down to start the sun began to set. Toadette watched in excitement and the screams of happiness continued during the night. The moon ran through the sky and the courses passed by. At the palace, the next morning Peach was eating breakfast as usual with Daisy.

A toad came in and Toadsworth followed to the table.

"Your highness Toad hasn't reported working," said Toadsworth.

"Maybe it's the weather give him a bit," responded Peach with no care.

Daisy and Peach continued eating breakfast and Mario, Luigi and Toad kept on playing! The sun was moving over Toadtown and the next day Peach and Daisy were eating breakfast again. Peach was waiting for Toad to come in with breakfast when Toadsworth came into the tea room.

"Where is Toad," asked Peach annoyed?

"He hasn't come in since his winter break," said Toadsworth.

Peach sighed annoyed and then got her purse she pulled out her phone. At Toad's House, he was playing Mario Kart still and his phone rung. He looked at it and ignored it and Toadette was knocked out on the couch.

"We're almost done," exclaimed Luigi!

Peach was annoyed when Toad didn't pick up and she put her phone in her purse.

"Come on, let's go see what he's doing," said Peach.

She pushed her chair in and Toadsworth along with Daisy followed behind. Snow drifts were all over the town and at Toad's House the snow was weighing down on his roof. Inside the heater was running in the messy living room. On the streets of Toadtown, Peach was driving quickly through the snow.

Outside her car pulled up and she went up to the path and almost slipped.

"What's that," asked Toadsworth?

"It looks like a sealer," said Daisy annoyed.

Peach walked up to the door and Toad was on the final coarse of Mario Kart he was about to win.

"OMG OMG OMG I'M ABOUT TO WIN," screamed Toad!!

"NOOO," screamed Luigi.

Meanwhile, inside the attic, the snow was weighing down and the wooden supports began to crack. Peach was knocking on the door hard but the noise was drowned out by all the noise.

"TOAD COME TO THE DOOR NOW," she screamed!

"I'M ALMOST THERE," screamed Toad!!!

Luigi, Mario, and Toadette watched she had just woken up! Peach kept on beating on the door and the wooden supports were crumbling and suddenly!

"I-

Suddenly a noise echoed through the house and the roof collapsed! Everyone gasped and snow and wood collapsed Peach screamed. She ran away from the house and fell in the snow and Toadsworth along with Daisy went to aid the princess.

Inside Toad screamed and the telly cut off and snow flooded the air vents and came out. Mario and Luigi looked around, Toadette ran to the window to look outside. Peach was angry and Toad was worried. Outside Toad was upset he had not won the contest but was even more upset that his roof was damaged.

"Toad why have you not come to work," asked Peach annoyed?

"Oh I forgot I'm sorry," said Toad.

Toadsworth was writing a check and then passed it to Toad.

"We'll see you tomorrow so you can start working it off," said Toadsworth.

Toad looked at the check and screamed!!

"NOT AGAIN,"

"So do I get my prize," asked Toad??

"H u h," said Luigi.

He ran off and so did Mario and Toad sighed at least he would be able to repair his roof. 

- Welcome everyone to Toadtown Season 5, I hope everyone is ready! Anyway, it's been a hot July so far and I hope everyone has enjoyed their Summer holiday. As for when the official season starts Season 5 will premiere on August 16th. This season will also include the Series' 100th episode!!!
