It was a sunny evening over Toadtowna and it was almost the end of Summer. Toadette was enjoying breakfast that morning as usual. As she opened the newspaper and started reading letters fell through the mail slot and she ran to the door. She picked them up and started looking through the letters.

"Bills, Bills, credit card, invitation, medi-

"Invitation," said Toadette confused to herself.

She dropped the letters and opened it excited.

"AHHH I'VE BEEN INVITED TO THE CASTLE FOR DINNER THIS SATURDAY!!" she screamed

She ran to the phone and dialed quickly at Daisy's Mansion the phone started ringing. Daisy was downstairs in the dining room having breakfast with a few guests. She got up and picked up the phone and heard Toadette's excitement.

"WE NEED TO GO DRESS SHOPPING," screamed Toadette.

The days passed by quickly and Toadette went dress shopping. On Saturday morning, it was a sunny morning and Toadette was working in her cafe that morning. She was serving customers when the phone rang. She picked it up quickly.

"Toadette's Cafe it's Toadette speaking," said Toadette.

"Toadette what time should I pick you up," asked Toad??

"Seven is fine," she said.

She hung up and smiled she was excited to have dinner at the castle that evening. Later that afternoon Toadette was in her bedroom getting ready. She had her dress on and was doing her makeup when Toad arrived. She grabbed her handbag and ran out, outside in the car Toad was waiting and Toadette got on.

Toadette looked around as she buckled when she saw a parcel in the backseat.

"What's that," asked Toadette??

"That's a parcel I picked it up for Peach it's a vase from Isle Delfino," said Toad

Toadette grabbed the parcel and Toad gasped.

"Be careful it's very fragile and special," he said worriedly.

Toadette looked at the picture on the box and Toad drove off to the castle. In the foyer, guests were arriving from all over and Toadette and Toad came in with the box. A maid took it so she could put it out on a table in the hallway and Toad and Toadette started talking with their friends.

Later that evening after dinner in the ballroom Toadette and Daisy decided to go to the bathroom. Daisy ran quickly and Toadette walked behind slowly. Suddenly her phone vibrated and she screamed and hit the table. The tall glass vase wobbled and Toadette screamed.

"NO NO NO," she screamed.

The portrait of the toadette behind the vase was revealed as the glass vase smashed on the floor in half and water spilled out. Toadette screamed. She quickly grabbed the vase and tried putting it together. As she put both pieces on the table she grabbed the roses with care and ran into the other bathroom.

"Omg omg I'm going to get in trouble," she worried.

She opened the toilet and threw the roses in it and they went away. She ran out in the hallway and used the carpet to dry the floor. Daisy came out of the bathroom and screamed as she saw the vase.

"TOADETTE WHAT DID YOU DO," she screamed!!

"SHHH don't make noise I can fix it," said Toadette worried.

She dug through her handbag and took out some super glue and began pasting the pieces back together. Daisy watched and soon a few minutes later Toadette revealed the finished product. Daisy looked at it and she noticed that it wasn't the same but sighed.

"It's good enough let's just make sure she doesn't come down to this bathroom," said Daisy in a somber tone.

Back in the ballroom Peach was sitting watching when she got up.

"Will someone accompany me to the bathroom," asked Peach??

"NO YOU CAN'T GO TO THE BATHROOM," screamed Toadette!

"I- why not," asked Peach??

"Because because I said so," said Toadette.

"Toadette I'm not sure what has gotten into you but I'm going to the bathroom," said Peach.

She got up and started walking to the bathroom with Birdo. Toadette got up and chased after Peach and Daisy followed.

"NO NO YOU CAN'T GO," screamed Toadette!!

Daisy tried stopping Toadette and Peach continued walking. As she got closer Toadette and Daisy screamed internally and then Toadette actually started screaming. Peach shook her head thinking Toadette had gone mad. As her pitches got higher Peach covered her ears and Birdo glared at Toadette.

Daisy screamed for Toadette to stop and suddenly.

*CRACK*

Peach, Birdo, Daisy, and Toadette looked and the vase broke. Birdo screamed as it fell on the floor and smashed into pieces. Peach gasped and then laughed loudly and everyone was confused.

"Why are you laughing," asked Birdo??

"Because I can finally put the new vase," said Peach.

She grabbed a box from under the table and took out the new vase.

"I omg what," said Toadette.

"The vase you broke was a fake me and Toadsworth purchased when we went to Isle Delfino on a state trip," said Peach.

Toadette's cheeks turned rosy red in embarrassment and then Peach looked down and grabbed the large piece and saw a white line on it.

"Why does it have super glue," asked Peach in confusion.

"So um I kind of broke it the first time my screams were the second time," said Toadette.

Peach looked at Toadette and then at the vase.

"Well next time you break something please tell me. Someone else could have gotten in trouble for it and I don't want to fire staff," said Peach

"Yes Peach I'm sorry," said Toadette.

After the dinner party outside Toad arrived at his car and Toadette got in.

"I heard something happened," laughed Toad.

"It was nothing," smiled Toadette.

As they drove away Toadette smiled she would sleep soundly tonight knowing the vase wasn't indeed broken.

-  Good afternoon everyone I hope everyone has had a good week so far. I know I have next week I'm not sure what's going to happen. Hurricane Dorian is going to arrive next week down south in Florida and it's possible it'll bring heavy rain and some wind to the Carolinas. I'm not very sure if I will have power by Friday mind you we're almost a week out. So if I don't publish I'll make an announcement.  I hope everyone stays safe this Labor Day weekend and in Florida if the hurricane hits. Always remember to evacuate because it can save your life. Anyway, I know my notes aren't usually this long but I just wanted to update everyone.
