I wish I could erase my memories

Then maybe I'd feel okay.

I'd forget the day we met.

all the way til the day you left.

I'd forget about you completely.

It would be the best for me.

I'd forget your face

and the way you made me feel.

I'd forget all of it

even the bits that were real.

Is there a way to delete my memories.

Even it I erase every bit of the past.

But I know even if I tried.

These memories were made to last.

and so I'll remember them

and keep them all within my grasp.
