At first it was shocking

then it became normal

you act like you care, act like you'll stay.

But you're gone the very next day.

At first it hurt.

I'll admit, it really did.

But after so many times,

the pain grows dim.

You come back

I give you a second chance

then you turn around

and stab me in the back.

I've found out you're all the same

so I won't let anybody in.

I'm better off alone anyway
