I glared at Oliver as I watched him talk with my Lilliana. She was having a grand time discussing with Oliver who knows what. Well, this was going to end at once.

I walked into the room with a bright smile on my face. "Hello, Oliver. Hello, Lilliana."

"James? What are you doing here?" Oliver asked me.

"I've come to show, Lilliana, her dressing room filled with the finest dresses in that world. I picked them especially for her."

"Well then, I'll come with you two." Oliver said coming to the doorway.

"No thank you, Oliver. I want to spend some time alone with Lilliana." I said motioning for Lilliana to come to me.

Lilliana then started to slowly walk towards me. She had such grace and poise, why doesn't she love me? Instead, of my other idiotic brothers why not love a true king...I mean prince. When she came close enough to me I gently took her hand and led her to her dressing room. I had it filled with the most special dresses that I believed would show her inner and outer beauty.

"They're all...red?" she said observing the dresses throughout the room.

"Yes, red is my favorite color, and I think that same color would look perfect on you, my lady."

Lilliana looked confused at first, but then got the idea and started to search for a dress she admired. She gazed at them all, until she finally found her dress. It was a long, scarlet gown with jeweled roses on it and a trimmed neackline with lace. A very elegant choice if I do say so myself.

"This one looks lovely." she said smiling at her selection.

"Why don't you try it on,and maybe you can wear it to the ball tonight?" I suggested.

"There is going to be a ball?" Lilliana asked puzzled.

"Why, of course, and you nned to look your very best. Many other royals are attending from all over the world." I grimaced, "Hopefully the prince from Stein does not attend."

Stein was our most mysterious neighboring kingdom, and always liked to disturd our most joyous of ceremonies. Prince Leonardo, or Leo, was always suspected that he would he would try to take over Arcania, but he has not made a strike yet.

"I've heard about Stein from the other villagers, but is it true that they are trying to conquer our kingdom?"

"I'm afraid so, Lilliana, but do not worry. You are going to look breathtaking tonight in that dress, and then you'll choose the lucky gentleman to waltz with at the end."

I was going to ask Lilliana to dance with me at the ball, and finally get close to her.

"The ball will be a welcoming to you, and hopefully help you get to know my brothers and me. Please take your time to get dressed, but just ring the bell beside the door if you need a maid to assit you." I said sweetly as I exited the room.

I headed to my chambers, because I needed to get ready myself for the ball. Something else was on my mind though, Giles had told me that Edward was up to no good, and I wanted to find out his scheme before it was too late.
