Dear Sydney,

    I'm glad that you appreciate my rambling, because I'm pretty sure that no one else is capable of that. Which is just another thing to prove that you're my soulmate.

    Three years ago I would have been completely mortified to have called you my soulmate, but at this point I think we can both agree that we're made for each other.

    First and foremost (or rather, third...you know what, forget that introduction), good luck on your audition today! You're gonna kill it and the judges at the New York City Symphonic Orchestra are going to absolutely love you, I'm sure of it! Also, New York City Symphonic Orchestra is a lot to write. Are you gonna write that out whenever you talk about it? I feel like abbreviating it would be far easier.

    That's insane that Riley is engaged! I remember meeting her for the first time on the way to the beach jam in California. I don't think I've ever been as uncomfortable as I was in that car.

    Also, I just wanted to let you know that a girl stopped by my apartment today to give me notes for Chemistry. I don't know if this is something I should tell you, since we haven't been apart like this before, but I don't want to be keeping secrets from you and I don't want you to think that I'm doing anything wrong! Not that I ever do anything wrong. I believe that I could have easily been voted "Most Likely to Die a Virgin" if that was an option for senior superlatives.

    Also, please, so that I'm not worried when I fall asleep at night, find a different roommate. Your current one sounds like a complete creep, and I don't want you to end up in a ditch somewhere at her hands. And don't eat anything she makes. Ever.

    How did your parents take the news? I'm assuming you've written them by now. I can't believe that you didn't tell them earlier, but at least you've (hopefully) done it now. I'm sure that they'll understand, and since they're lovely people they'll just want what's best for you, and that is clearly being in New York.

    But not in that apartment.

    Please find a different apartment.

    Anyways, as always, I'm missing the crap out of you Porter. Seeing Britt and Dan every day just reminds me over and over that my love is in a different state.
