A dream
A land of make believe that we imagine To get us from this day to the next.
A map painted with the 100 adventures we have yet to go on.
Worlds we have yet to explore.
Just us.
No past to hold us back
The only darkness we have is the one in the night sky with stars twinkling.
The only voices we hear is each other's and the ones of people we love.
The only anxiety we feel is from nervousness to try new food in foreign lands.
The only sadness we feel is when we leave a place to explore another.
The only insecurity we have is over a new outfit we have purchased which goes away as soon as the other says "You look amazing"
The only blood that is spilled is from the cuts we get from running a bit too close to a bush with thorns.
The only hatred that we feel is the one towards people in movies.
You shall no longer swim in the sea of depression, you will walk on the island of misfit toys with me by your side.
For the rest of time.
Alast it's only but a dream.
But the world is not so cruel
And it may this dream of yours will come true.
