first award show for the year 2019, and luckily my girl's group is here — or my 'soon' to be girl. after the news regarding jennie noona and kai sunbae broke out, i've decided to finally pursue lisa. and best way to do it? ask infront of people.

we still do not have any idea with jen and yoongi hyung, but to see her publicly dating somehow makes me think that their company is finally lifting their dating ban.

my thoughts were then distracted when i saw them coming. i haven't got the chance to look at her during the opening of the show since i automatically bowed my head when i passed right in front of them. the only time i got to see her was when the camera showed them for few seconds.

but now, here she is — so close yet so far. hoseok hyung then stood from his seat and approached me.

"wae? wae?" i panicky asked as he went closer to my face to whisper something.

"blackpink, blackpink." he murmured. he was pulling my arm as if he was forcing me to change seats with him.

i laughed as i push him aside. i caught namjoon hyung snickering as well. can't these hyungs atleast not tease me for a day?

hoseok hyung finally sat while still having a grin on his lips. i would've agreed to switching seats with him, but doing so would make it more difficult for me to look at her.

i mean, his seat is directly infront of her. how would i steal glances without being obvious then?

the award show started. various artists started performing, and as much as i want to give them my full attention, i just can't. not without a gorgeous girl sitting diagonally behind us.

good thing a monitor is placed right at their direction as well, atleast i won't be that obvious in looking at her. i just hope others won't question why i prefer to look at that monitor compared to the ones positioned right in front of us.

i bent my neck slightly and glanced at the monitor before sighting her once again. how can she look that perfect? fuck, i can't believe she's mine.

my eyes then widened upon realizing that i was shown on the big screen. the camera was directed towards me, with her included.

shit. i internally cussed. how can i be that careless?

i quickly faced in front, wishing that no one was able to notice how i was stealing glances at her. ugh, i'll get another lecturing from hyung if i keep on being obvious about us.

but then again, how can i resist her charm? i waited for a few more seconds before turning to her direction once again.

i took the bottle and gargled the water before looking at my left side. honestly, i was acting cute with my lips pouted, hoping for her notice.

unfortunately, it was hoseok hyung who saw it. he started smirking at me as if he knows what i was doing. i immediately swallowed the water, which was still in my mouth that time, so as to avoid spitting it.

i can still feel his teasing look so i bit my inner cheeks to stop myself from smiling. all i want is to peacefully look at my lisa, but they always seem to notice it and tease me about it!

when will this misery ever end?

minutes passed, and i'm starting to get uneasy. of course, i didn't stopped staring at her, even if chaeng caught me multiple times eyeing at their maknae.

i was waiting for the right time to proceed with my plan. you see, i asked some of our staffs to decorate our dressing room with stars for a bit.

this is the day, the day i'm finally asking her to be officially mine. stars were one of the many things that symbolized our love. even our fans can attest to it.

the stars were also the ones who witnessed my true feelings for her. the moment i confessed to her, that night when we were at the amusement park — that was when our story started, the time i finally knew i was in love with lisa.

you see, i did a lot of flirting back then. i always thought that lisa would just be the same — only liking her for the thrill. but she proved me wrong.

she's the best thing that happened to me. i see it. i see us getting married, moving in together, cuddling on the couch, waking up to good morning kisses.

us having arguments, making up after, cooking our favorite food. all those things, i see us together. forever.

she was the one i was looking for, and i could watch her for a single minute and find thousand things that i love about her.

that night, when we were riding the ferris wheel, was one of the best moments in my life. those promises i made under the stars, i meant it. that moment felt surreal, and so, i've decided to reenact it today.

my hyungs and i were talking when i saw blackpink left their seat. seems like they went backstage, and this is finally the perfect time to execute my plan.

i quickly drank from the water bottle and happily skipped towards the backstage. my heart is beating fast, numerous questions started to flood my mind.

what if she'll say no? what if the plan won't go well as i thought it would?

"jungkook-ah," a voice mumbled. i turned towards the voice and saw jimin hyung following me.

"namjoon hyung told me to go after you." he answered.

i sighed and rolled my eyes at him. am i being baby-sit?

"aish hyung, today's the day. please don't ruin it for me." i pleaded.

he smirked at me and pat me at the back.

"our maknae's a man now huh? don't worry, i'll wait outside."

i took in a big breath and exhaled, before proceeding to their dressing room.

this is it jeon jungkook, the moment you're waiting for. the day you'll ask lisa manoban to be your girlfriend.
