New year, new sketchbook! My old one was practically hanging off of its binding, clinging for dear life but I have a new one now so it's all good.

   I'm kinda frustrated at how much graphite smudges in this one, compared to my old one but you win some and you lose some.

   Anyways, onto the art! I want to get into the habit of posting more over here, and in smaller "portions" of drawings than constantly dumping all of it into one chapter and updating like once a month haha.

   Here's the first one! It's a sketch celebrating the start of 2018 (who would've guessed?). I have quite a lot of art goals this year such as: get better at anatomy, improve on my digital art, draw guys for once hah, try more stuff with watercolors and markers, try to flesh out my style more/deviate a bit from it, and at least try to attempt starting a webcomic (this comes after the improving on digital art, of course). Now, I probably won't meet all of them but I'll try.

   Here are some little bust sketches of my DR girls (they show up so much in this book because they're the only ones I draw tbh) and yes, Aven's a girl and not a guy.

So that's the crew of Velvet, Miko, Stellara, Haruno, and Aven. I changed the design on the bodice of Velvet's dress a bit so it looks more Lolita-ish and not just a bunch of ruffles awkwardly sewn on.

   I'm also wondering if I should outline it in brush pen too, but I'm afraid that it'll ruin it so I won't do that for now.
