I am just a normal girl from Kaliyug and I play your role in various Mahabharat servers of discord. When I was a child I always used to think that how could you let those bad things happen to Draupadi but now when I got to know about a small part of your life. I find myself in wrong. I in my lack of sense forgot that you were a palace woman. Since birth like a pet you were taught what to do what not to do. The set of rules and regulations at that time became ultimate truth for you.

Throughout the whole life you were only given the identity of Dhritrashtra's wife, mother of Kauravs and sister of Shakuni. No one ever tried to know who you really were. You were much more than just your relations. You were a pious woman who was even able to make Mahadev happy with her devotion. You were a ruler, who accompanied her husband to rule the kingdom. You were a smart woman who knew how to let ignorance be your blanket during bad times.

Many people love to compare you with Draupadi, if Draupadi could speak up then why couldn't Gandhari but they fail to notice. Draupadi was born from fire while all your life you you were trained to be a good wife. I don't hate you. I could never hate you for not stopping Dyut because I know you were bounded and I shall respect your choice.

You are blamed by people for cursing a God but they again fail to be empathetic about your condition. The children you cherished were all gone, your family that you preserved for so long turned into ashes and all you could do was wait for the result of the war. I could never imagine what would it felt to loose your 100 sons. I can't even think of even losing one of my family member and here you were, accompanied your husband in his exile after all that emotional trauma.
