She got sorted in Hufflepuff and was accidentally expelled from Hogwarts her 6th year. Afterwards, Linnet fought with Harry Potter in the Battle of Hogwarts and won his trust. She is a begining her first day as Junior Head of the Department of the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures. Such a shame the head doesn't really care for Scamander's in his office...
