Dravos looked up with a bit of surprise on his face. Looking at Barry as it was him who had spoken. Barry looked excited as he pointed at finger at the brunette. "Right here, right now! I demand a fight!" He said as he did. Dravos shrugging as he had a cocky smirk across his face. "Fine by me, but be prepared to loose."

"Wait! Wouldn't it be unfair? I mean, you do have two Pokémon and he only has one." Dawn interrupted as she noted towards their partners. "That's true..." Dravos said as he tapped his chin.

"Then let's make it a double battle! Dawn, cmon! We can tag team him!"

"What!?"

"Now now! Some of us may not have experience with battling." Dravos said as he butted into the conversation quickly. Since this girl looked like she's been through enough with her crazy companion. "So? That's how we practice! I'm sure she'll get the hang of it."

"Then how about we ask her instead of trying to force her." Dravos said simply as he sighed. Looking towards the blue haired girl. "Dawn, would you like to battle me as well?"

"You do seem experienced... why not! I'll give it a shot."

"Good." He said and nodded a bit. Cracking his knuckles as the three backed up a fair distance from each other.

"Alright! Turtwig, come on out!"

"Piplup, front and center!"

The two went on and let their Pokémon loose.

In front of Barry was a small, quadrupedal Pokémon that looked like a tortoise. It's light green in color with a hard, brown shell on its back. The shell having a black rim and stripe running across the middle of it. It's lower jaw, eyes, and feet being a pale yellow color. The Pokémon has a brown patch on its head with a seedling growing from it. Two small leaves growing out from it. The Pokémon yawning a bit as she looked a bit tired.

While before Dawn was a chubby, light blue Pokémon that resembled a Penguin. It has a dark blue head with a primarily white face and a pair of dark, beady eyes. Along with its features was a short, yellow beak. It has the same blue running down its back and around its neck that are meant to be feathers. Though, it looks more like a cape. It has two, white ovals on its chest and a light blue marking on top of its beak that resembles a crown. It's got two flipper-like arms and yellow feet. The Pokémon looking more energetic as he looked around curiously. Him flapping his flippers as he did.

"Huh.. let's see..." Dravos muttered to himself as he took out his Pokédex. Pointing it towards the two Pokemon as he did. The Dex doing its job and examining the Pokemon; putting the information into it.

Turtwig, the Tiny Leaf Pokémon. Its shell is made of earth and when it absorbs water, it becomes harder.

Piplup, the Penguin Pokémon. A poor walker, it often falls down. However, its strong pride makes it puff up its chest without a care.

"Hm.. I see..." He said and nodded. Then smirking as he glanced between his two partners on his shoulders. "Chimchar, Pikachu, let's get 'em!" He said and outstretched his arms.

"Pika!"

"Chimchar!"

The two Pokémon running out across his arms before jumping off. Going over each other and landing on opposite sides of where they once were. Grinning to himself as he did before looking up. Dawn already having her Pokédex out as she looked over his Pokémon. Eyes full of curiosity.

Chimchar, the Chimp Pokémon. It is very agile. Before going to sleep, it extinguishes the flame on its tail to prevent fires.

Pikachu, the Mouse Pokémon. It occasionally uses an electric shock to recharge a fellow PIKACHU that is in a weakened state.

"Interesting.." She said to herself and nodded. Putting her own Pokédex away as she looked towards Dravos.

"Can we just begin already?! We can scan Pokémon later.." Barry said as he sounded impatient as ever.

"Fine by me." The two agreed as Dravos looked more relaxed than the uptight female.

"Let's start this! Turtwig, use tackle on Pikachu!"

"I'll go with you! Piplup, use pound on Chimchar!"

Piplup glanced back at their trainer and nodded. Running forward as their right flipper enveloped in a faint light. Turtwig running in beside her before changing directions to go tackle down the electric mouse.

"Pikachu, Quick Attack! Chimchar; dodge and use Scratch!"

"Pi!" Pikachu's red cheeks sparked out with electricity as he waited. Getting down on all fours while crouching a bit more. Suddenly being out of the way as he had zipped past Turtwig. Her blinking twice before being hit in the side by the others head. Sliding back as she shook her head. "Tur!"

While Chimchar tried to do what her owner had said. Though, was a few seconds too late. Getting hit hard by the attack as she was sent into the ground. Either way standing back up as she screeched out. A light surrounding her fingers and turning into claws. Running forward and scratching her for across the forehead. "It's okay, you both are doing great!" Dravos cheered his teammates on as he grinned. Nodding towards the two as his expressions changed into a challenging one. "That all you two got!?"

"Not even close! Leafage!"

"Ember!"

"Use Pound again on Chimchar!"

With the Chimp being targeted by both of her opponents. She glanced around before springing up, inhaling as a small flame formed out of her mouth upon exhaling. Going towards the three glowing orbs of green energy being Leafage. The two attacks colliding as she looked quite proud of herself. Then glancing up only for a shiver to go down her spine. Not only was she falling, the Penguin Pokémon was right on top of her. An evil glint in his eyes as both flippers were encased in the light. Chimchar thinking she was done for before a bolt of electricity struck out from nowhere. Piplup being shocked as he hadn't expected that at all. Him falling to the ground with swirls in his eyes upon the attack hitting.

"Huh!? What was-"

"Pika!" Pikachu let out a happy cry as he looked at the fallen Pokémon. Grinning as he had his arms crossed.

'That was Thundershock...' Dawn thought as her eyes were a bit wide. 'He one-shot my Pokémon... geez, he really is good...'

While Pikachu was busy celebrating, he was suddenly knocked off balance. "Turtwig!"

"Pi!" The yellow mouse tumbled back as he was hit by another one of Turtwig's Tackles. Her eyeing him as she kicked up a bit of dust.

"Alright Chimchar. Step back and watch." Dravos said as she looked towards him. Seeming just as confused as the other trainers but nodded. Scampering over towards him and taking a seat beside him.

"Why did you do that? You had a clear advantage!" Barry said as he seemed pretty dumbfounded by this.

"Because that would've made it a one-sided fight. Plus; me and Chimchar need to bond more before I put her up against anything else. She needs to trust me like Pikachu does." He said and lightly crossed his arms. His partner standing up as he glared at the foe in front of him.

"Huh... alright fine then. Let's continue, use Leafage!"

"Quick attack!"

'Not happening again!' "Shoot it towards the ground!"

Upon the command, Turtwig waited it out for a bit as Pikachu had started going in for a shot. The turtle then firing off the three orbs again as she aimed it towards the ground below them.

Dust rising up around the electric mouse before he could even move.

'We got ya!' "Rush in and use Tackle again!"

Dravos didn't even say anything at this point. Running a hand through his hair as he thought for a long moment. Soon gazing up towards the sky as he smirked a bit. "Thundershock.."

Electricity rode through the winds, striking down onto the Tiny Leaf Pokemons back. Her wincing from the attack before she and her trainer looked up. "No way.. how!?"

"Simple really." Dravos said as he put his hands behind his head. Pikachu landing on the ground by him. "When Turtwig went in for the attack. Pikachu ran over it then used his tail to propel himself upward while the dust was bust settling." He said after. Barry looking surprised and amazed from that.

"Wow..." he muttered and scratched his head.

"I would be keeping your eyes on the battle if I were you." Dravos said bluntly as he had his gaze back towards their Pokémon. Barry quickly looking down as his Turtwig had fallen. Swirls in her eyes as she too had fainted.

"What!? When did that--."

"That. Is why you always pay attention in battle. The tables can turn instantly if you're not prepared." The brown haired teen said as Pikachu crossed his arms. Looking triumphant with his double victory.

"Let's hope you were taking notes little one. You'll be doing this someday." Dravos said and looked down at his partner. The Chimp saluting as she held a wide smile. "Chimchar chim!"

"Geez... return..." Barry said, being bummed out by his loss as he returned his Pokémon back into their ball. Scratching the back of his head a bit before clapping was heard.

"That was quite impressive." A male said as he had been watching. Having blue hair and the dark navy eyes.

"Heh, thanks Lucas. You still doing the professors dirty work?" Dravos asked and looked towards the male. Him facepalming and shaking his head. "How many times have I told you it's not dirty work!? Goodness Dravos.. this is even worse than you becoming a human Pokedex.."

"A human Pokedex?" Dawn asked as she and her companion were completely lost on the matter and who this guy even is.

"Mhm. He helps me out at times and knows a lot about Pokémon. He used to lecture me about them when we were young and keeps on blabbing about it."

"Rude!" The other teen said and pointed a finger, an irk mark appearing on the side of his head. "I was only helping. And besides, I already know I'm smart when it comes to teams." He said and shrugged. Having a callous sneer across his face.

"Keep on gawking..." Lucas said and rolled his eyes.

"Hang on I'm lost.. who are you exactly?" Barry asked and tilted his head towards Lucas.

"Oh, right, my apologizes. I'm Lucas, a fellow friend of Dravos and a helper of Professor Rowan and his research." He said and bowed his head some.

"Oh wow, nice to meet you! I'm Dawn and that's Barry."

"Hm, nice to meet you both."

"Hold up, what kind of 'research' did the professor put you up to." The blonde asked quizzically. Eyeing the male up and down suspiciously.

"Well it's not what you or this dunce thinks!" Lucas quickly said and held his hands up. "I was in Celestic Town researching some strange cave drawings." He said after.

"Uh Huh, sure."

"Like you have room to talk Hawthorn! I've never done anything to be considered a pervert!"

"Yea yea! You know I'm just bluffing!"

'Their dynamics sure are.. strange...'

"Now ignoring you! Where should we go to?"

"Well, I need to tell my mom I'm going on an adventure."

"Yea, same here. Maybe we should meet up somewhere tomorrow?"

"Why not. How about Jubilife?"

"Alright!"

"Sounds good to me."

"Then it's settled! We go to Jubilife tomorrow!"

"Right!"
