Marinette POV

We hade to find a safer way to leave this place without getting eaten or hurt at the moment. Where is there a safe place to go to go home to. Think Marinette think.

I was forcing myself to think better and to come up with a plan that wouldn't involve anyone getting hurt or killed at the process.

"What are we going to do,"  Alya said as as she doped the bags that are to heavy for her along with Kim carrying the whole thing and just doping it making a big noise.

They all just stared at me even the newcomers that i haven't even introduced myself to yet. But I already know that it will all have to wait for later.

I  saw stares that might lead to the roof and that's when it hit me. If we go to the roof we could easily go threw all the walkers and go home safely. It could be a little risky but we have no choice. The walkers where already inside, if we want to get out of here alive we have to move quickly.

"Everyone grab as many bags as you can and follow me, I said as I grabbed over ten bags myself. We are used to carrying a lot of heavy things ourselves so it wasn't that much of a big deal for us. It was the other kids that we where worried about, except the big guy he carried the rest of the bags that where about to be left behind.

"Let's move out!" i shouted as they all followed me running up the stairs, it was a little struggle but we managed.

 As we made it to the roof it was i had to drop the bags i was carrying and re-killed the dead. It was really easy but the rest of the roof was a horrifying sight. There was a lot of dried blood and people there that didn't look like they made it.

There was Bones that still had meat and there was still some walkers but from the head to half its stomach was showing. It wasn't a pleasant sight. 

Rose had to cover her mouth by the smell and Chloe was about to cry just by looking at the woman that had a child in her arms. There bones where all that was left and it looked like the Woman was trying to protect her little sister.

Felix POV

"We need to keep moving" The girl said in a calm and reassuring voice. 

"Where on the roof. The exit it now invaded by Zombies. The ground it over five stories low, And let's not mention what is right in front of us now. Do you really think we can get out of here alive. Heck why DID we follow you. We had a chance to go somewhere else but nnnooooo, here we are following your orders. I think i should be in charge." Lila said crossing her arms and dropping her bags which were only two, one per hand.

"Okay first of all we don't have time for drama right now. Second, you could have left but you didn't and If you did just leave you wouldn't survive any longer with only those customs on. Like seriously this is no time to play." The girl grabbed her bags as she threw three long pieces of wood to help us cross. 

"And third of all.." She turned around as she crossed the bridge she made.  "Where not in a video game so don't call the dead Zombies, we prefer them called walkers, living dead or even just creatures. But not Zombies, were not in a game so don't be calling them Like your in one because your not." The girl said as she started helping her friends cross. 

"At least we'll be safe so stop your complaining, there nice enough to let us come with them." Adrian said as he crossed the bridge. I was right behind him as he did. 

"Come on Lila, you want to live or not"I said reaching my hand for her to take. The Gorilla was already on the other side waiting for us to join the rest.

After a few minutes she finally gave up and we kept going to roof by roof not resting for over three hours. It was pretty tiring but we all managed. 

"Is there any way we can take a break," Adrian said looking like if he was about to faint here and now. The poor guy was carrying twelve bags that were all over himself.

"Ya, I kinda agree" The girl Alya said as she was sweating and catching here breathe.

Marinette POV 

I took one look at them and realized I've bushed some of them a bit to hard. We where going to roof by roof for a long time i think i lot track of the times that we took a break. Did we even take a break at all? 

"Your right, we'll rest here for a while then we'll continue shortly. We still need to find a way back home before it gets dark." I didn't really need to take a break so i just walked around the roof a little looking at the damaged city. Everyone else fell on there backs resting, i think Kim was sleeping but i'll just wake him up when we start to leave.

I sat on top of a big block of bricks as i was just thinking a little, distracting myself of the normal world and going to my fantasy.

"This spot taken," A boy with golden blond locks said. Wait was he wearing a black cat costume?

"why are you dressed as a cat? It's not Halloween if you didn't know" I smirked at my own comment but let him sit next to me anyway.

"Oh sorry, me and my friends just tried on some costumes and enjoying ourselves a little while we still had the chance." He smirked and looked at the tower that was facing the sun perfectly.

"I do look good in a cat costume don't i" He said smirk-fully.

I giggled a bit a his comment and smiled. I don't think I've been this happy since the day I've meet Alya.

"I'm sorry but, i don't think we introduced ourselves yet. I'm Adrian" The boy Adrian said as he held out his hand.

"Well Adrian, I'm Marinette" I said shaking his hand and smiling. He looked kinda cute with that costume on. 

His eyes stood out the most with all that black leather, his eyes where green and is hair was like the sun. He had black cat ears on along with a black mast that combined perfectly with his looks. If i hadn't known better i'd mistaken him for a model anytime.

"I think we should get going soon," I said as i sat up to go With the others that started to pick up the bags to continue the long walk.

"If we go threw the freeway and walk threw there for a mile or two we could just ride the trucks we came with. We had to leave them behind because the rest of the freeway was blocked with to many cars that are all over one another." Alya said as she jumped over to the other building that just had a little gape between them.

We all continued the walk on the buildings but eventually used the fire escape rout to take the rest of the way by walk. I was really tired but when i turned around to check on everyone else i realized i wasn't the only one.

As we reached the freeway i could see why Alya and the rest of them had to take the rest of the trip by walk. There were cars on top of trucks and dead people that seemed to be road killed. There was grass growing in between the cracks on the road and on some of the cars too. There was also dry blood pretty much everywhere.

"So this is the road" Adrian said looking hurt by the sight in front of him.

"Wait, is this the first time you ever looked at a road," i turned to look at him but his head was just hanging low. He slowly nodded but didn't want to look at the sight of so much dried blood. 

Just thinking about what happened almost made me want to faint right there. We continued the walk being careful not to run into ant walkers on the way. We had to climb and crawl threw the messy piles of vehicles.

"There it is, i could see it from here!" Chloe said starting to run to the two vehicles that are the only ones that didn't look like they were covered in dust.

"Chloe slow down," Rose said running up to try to catch up yo here.

"I'm just gonna walk," Alya faced yawned being to lazy to want to drive.

"Keys!" I was running and Alya just threw the keys of the big truck to me as continued to run towards it.

"She's fast," I herd Adrian say just before I entered the truck.

"Hurry up people i want to go home and try out these new cloths!" Chloe shouted as she started honking at then with the little truck.

Funny how she said that, right after anyone even got on the little truck she just drove off leaving a cloud of dirt behind.

"OH COME ON!!!!!" Alya practically threw a bag at the truck.

"seriously!" was all Kim could say at how stupid her actions could be.

I couldn't help but laugh. 

*********Third person POV***********

Marinette couldn't help but laugh at her silly actions. The fact that she ate twelve chocolate bars and almost vomited afterwards was already to much for her. This wasn't even a little of how childish she could be. 

Marinette still remembers how she used to spill milk from her nose from laughing at Nino's jokes. Boy did that make a mess.

"Put all the bags inside and make room so you can all fit," Marinette laughed as they just played paper rock scissors to see who would take the second seat. And of cores Adrian won.

"Dang it Adrian!" Alya yelled about to make him fall on his knees if it wasn't for Gorilla who had to separate the two.

"I'll take my leave now-thank you very much," Adrian bowed and ran inside the truck right next to Marinette.

"This sure is comfy," Adrian gestured to the seat that was dark blue with white lines covering the sides and the back of the seats.

"Well were off," At that the start of an engine was herd and the road seemed as if it moved on it's own with how quite the truck moved.

Nino was basically the only radio out there now so they put on some music and talked to Nino on the way. The road was pretty peaceful. Well until they cough up with Chloe who had to stop to get Lila, Gorilla, Alya in that truck to have more room for everyone else.

"So Nino right?" Adrian started chuckling a little.

"The one and only" you could hear laughter coming from the other side of the communicator. 

"So then let me get this straight, Chloe basically told you that if this kid Leo destroyed anything or even touched anything in her room she will scream for eternity," Adrian didn't even have time to finish that sentence before They both broke out laughing. 

Marinette had to stop laughing midway to prevent crashing into a broken down van. It had walkers around it that had holes all over there body along with some places that were luckily covered, even in death no one wants to see you naked.

"Wow what happened, why'd it get so quite?" Nino chuckled threw the communicator not being able to see what we see.

"Nothing, it's just that Marinette here almost got us into a Purrty bad accident," At that Marinette let out the breathe she didn't even know she was holding.

"That was very bad," Marinette chuckled at Adrian's terrible cat pun.  

"Me-aw, that hurt Purrincess," Adrian smirked holding his hands up to his chest to look like he was hurt. He even closed his eyes and stuck out his tong to make it more dramatic then it already seemed.

"haha very funny Adrian, we might be back by the time the first star shows up." Marinette said looking at the clouds and then back to the road.

"Looking forward to it, I want to meet this Adrian" Nino said in an accent that made them laugh once more.
