Merlin
I was walking through the halls of the castle a week later when I bumped into someone.
"Oh pots, forgive me, my lady." The familiar voice said.
"It's quite alright. No harm done." I told him, straightening out my dress.
I looked up to see the brown eyes I had expected.
Merlin...
"I apologise, the fault is mine." I said, not making eye contact.
"May we talk?" Merlin asked, gesturing to a room on my right.
I nodded.
We entered the room and Merlin closed the door.
"You saw. Didn't you?" He asked.
I knew what he meant.
"If you mean I know about your magic, then yes." I replied.
"You're going to tell Arthur, aren't you?"
I gave a shocked expression.
"Of course not!" I exclaimed.
Merlin's eyes widened.
"Why? If you're going to build a relationship with him, you can't keep things from him." He said.
"What he doesn't know won't hurt him." I replied. "And as long as you don't do anything to hurt him or anyone else, your secret is safe with me."
"Thank you." He smiled. "But I have to ask why you're so okay with this."
"My best friend, Maldue, had magic. He was killed the day Arthur and the knights rescued me." I told him.
He looked sympathetic.
"I'm very sorry to hear that."
I smiled a little. "It's alright. No point in dwelling in the past when you can look to the future."
He nodded. "Quite right."

I met Arthur in the hall with Uther for some lunch.
I sat down silently, realising I was a little late.
