Serena's log...

Hey, it's me again and boy have I got a lot to say. Today has been by far the strangest day to date. But I guess I should start from the beginning huh Claire? So it started like this...

Now, I said that I would show Calem around Lumiose right? I figured, hey he's new and this could be fun for him. Well that plan was derailed! Why? Because there was a power outage on the other half of the city where all the fun stuff is! Oh, and as if that wasn't bad enough, you'll love this.

Remember the pages I said I burned? Yeah, that guy showed up again. Sorry to dissappoint you, but I didn't throttle him. Anyway, moving on! Upon our arrival in Camphrier Town, we were met with the sight of a crowd gathering around the Shabboneau Castle. Get this, the path was blocked by a bunch of Snorlax. Not one, but a bunch. Try to wrap your mind around that one. So, we figure out what the problem is, and as it so happened, the only way to move the Snorlax was to wake them up.

One might think, why not battle them while they sleep? Surely they will wake up then, right? Wrong! They sleep through anything. We had to have a Poké Flute to get the tub of lard moving. Turns out, the owner of Shabboneau Castle didn't have it anymore. Instead, it was in the hands of a greedy rich snob who charges way too much for an entrance fee!

Seriously!? One grand? *Sigh* Well, we all paid up and walked into the most famous place in all of Kalos: The Parfum Palace! Remember how I said I always wanted to go there, you know, to feel like a princess or a queen for a day? Visit all the rooms and immerse myself in the history is what I planned to do. Buuuuuuut none of that happened.

Much to my dismay, I end up having to look for a Furfrou, which by the way, ran away from the maids and her owner to some degree. Oh, speaking of said 'mon, Shauna caught a shiny one. She was so lucky! If it weren't for our difference in goals, I'd have felt upstaged. Oh wait, that did happen! But more on that later.

So, we found the Furfrou and we received the flute as per agreement. Then we get rewarded further with a spectacular fireworks show! It was amazing. I even got to talk with Calem a bit more, which was nice. I'm going to be teaching him Kalosian. He said he liked the language and that it was pretty cool when I spoke it-

Sorry, I'm rambling aren't I? This has been quite a day. Oh! I remembered something. Callie, as we call him, caught a, get this, shiny Honedge! It looked so badass. Remember when I said I felt upstaged? Well this took the cake! I feel like it's my turn to get something awesome for once! No offense to my current team.

One more thing. Now, I've written this before but...remember when I said I was hearing voices in my head? Well, it turns out I'm not crazy. When Calem was battling the Honedge, we both heard it talk! And no, it wasn't just saying its name it was speaking Unovan.

Yeah, and try to wrap your mind around this one. Apparently Calem and I have this thing called aura. I mean...I've only read about it but to know I have it is something completely different. This could work to my advantage on my journey. Hmmmm. Ugh! This is all too much!

Anyway, I really should be getting some rest. Tomorrow we head for Ambrette Town which means we'll be near the beach! It's supposed to be warm tomorrow so I can relax and possibly swim! Maybe I can even see what Calem is made of in another battle! Or...better idea; a spar!

What? We both know how to fight so it's not like we'll get too badly hurt. And besides, who doesn't love a fight on the beach? I just gotta get him interested, but how?

Oh well, I'll think more on that tomorrow.
