Ben woke up to Jessie calling his name

B: Hey, how are you feeling?

J: I can't say I feel great but it's managable. Just this heavy feeling on my body...

It took a moment for Ben to get what she was talking about. With cheeks flushed red, he took his hands off.

B: It was to keep you safe I swear.

J: I know, Ben, just kidding.

B: How about we head to the kitchen and I make you something toe at?

J: That sounds great.

Ben lifted Jessie of his chest, got up and went to the kitchen. Suzie was already making breakfast so they joined her.
After breakfast Ben had to leave to report in for work .
Suzie took Jessie in to the livingroom to rest some more. After a while there was a knock on the door. Suzie opend the door to a unknown man.

UM: Hi, I'm Ben's partner. He is being held up at work so he asked me to pick up Jessie for him.

S: Nice try, but not today. Ben would have called to let us know.

UM: Just give her to me, nothing will happen.

S: Go to hell!

J: Suzie, no!

Suzie tried to close the door but was met with a fist to her face. As she fell to the floor, an other voice boomed over Jessies. A second later she was lifted in a loose fist.
T.J knelt down next to Suzie and checked her face.

T.J: Damn you bastard. I'll kill you for that!

UM: You will do nothing, as I have little Jessie. Get in my way and she gets hurt.

At that point Ben came up behind the man and stuck his gun in his back.

B: I suggest you carefully hand over Jessie to me and then put your hands behind your back.

After Jessie was handed to him, Ben put her on the table so he could handle the croock.
In the timespan that Ben had handled the man and T.J helped Suzie put ice on her face, Jessie had managed to get of the table and hide under a cupboard.

Suzie had seen a tiny shadow move fast over the floor and allerted Ben to it.
Ben lowered himself onto his knees and looked to see her.

B: Jessie, what are you doing under there?

J: Leave me be. It's my fault Suzie got hurt! I need to get out of here.

B: Sweety, this is not your fault. You...

J: If I hadn't been here, none of it would have happend.

B: No, no...

J: Just let me be. I need to be alone.

With a heavy sigh ben got up and joined Suzie and T.J in the kitchen
