After about an houre, Ben went back to the cupboard, sat down on his hans and knees to look for Jessie.

B: Guys, she's not here anymore.

T.J: How is that possible. We where here all the time.

Su: O no, the door to the garden is still open. She might have somehow slipped by us.

They al ran to the garden but came to a quick halt upon seeing where Jessie was. 
She had climed up a pile of rocks and was standing dangerously close to edge.

T.J: Hey Jessie, we haven't met yet. So how about you get down from there so I can properly introduce myself.

J: I know who you are. You should be angry at me!

T.J: Eh...Why should I be mad at you? The only one I am mad at is myself for not getting rid of that pile of rocks when Suzie asked me to.

B: Jessie, please, don't stand so close to the edge.

When they tried to take steps to get closer to her, she got even closer to the edge.

Su: Jessie, would you like to tell us what is going on? How we can help you?

J: Why are all being so nice? I bring nothing but trouble. You got hurt because of me.

Su: This isn't your fault, sweetie, you didn't choose any of this.

J: I lost my father, I lost my house. I lost me! I am nobody!

In her grief Jessie struggled to see trough the tears. The step she took forward was the wrong one and she tumbled from the pile.
Since Ben had been on high allert, he jumped forward, landed hard on his belly, with his arms and hands stretched out, just in time to catch her.
The moment he felt her fall in his hands, he turned on his back and pulled Jessie to his chest.

B: Sweet sweet baby girl, don't ever do that again! My lifespan just shortend by 10 years.
    Let's go inside and get you warm.

Inside T.J and Suzie let them be and retreated tot heir bedroom.
Ben wrapped Jessie in a soft warm towel and sat down with her in his hands on the couch.

B: I want to make one thing clear to you: you are not nobody! Since the moment I met you, I knew you where speciale, not trouble.
I need you to promise me to never pull a stunt like that again. I felt my heart stop the moment you fell.
From the second I laid my eyes on you, you became the most important person, someone worth fighting for!
I can't dissagree that you lost much, but if you are willing to exept it, you won my admeration en love.

Ben wanted to continue but finally noticed that Jessie had fallen asleep. With a sigh he leaned back and clossed his eyes to, allowing himself to faal asleep.
