Chapter Three: Operation: Seduce the Seducer

•Zoe•

"Alrighty then, Zo, you got that?" Julia asked me. We had just finished planning out a way to get Aliyah to fall for me. I thought it wouldn't work at all, but Julia claimed it would be perfect, I just had to be romantic and confident.

Two things I am not. Perfect.

I sighed and nodded, holding the notebook we had written in against my chest protectively. I'm not saying this would be impossible but... it would be close to it.

"Yeah, I got it. Thanks, Jules."  I sighed, and looked up to the sky, praying for something to go right with this. She smiled and gave me a quick hug, before packing up the stuff she brought over. We were in my room, plotting together. She was supposed to be back home ten minutes ago but... time flies when you're having fun.

After Julia picked up her stuff, she looked at me one last time.

"You got this, don't freak out, and make me proud!" She sung, patting my head with a folder. I laughed and threw a pillow at her head as she walked out of my room.

I sighed and laid back on my bed, holding the notebook above my face. This holds the secrets to make Aliyah fall for you. Well, that was what Julia said, anyway. All I have to do is be confident, and good at life. As if.

I let the notebook fall onto my face as I closed my eyes, thinking of tomorrow. All I have to do is get a date. I got this.

I was hanging out with Jacki, Dan, and Mark. We were at the park. I was sitting on the swing next to Mark, Jacki was hanging upside down on a tree branch, and Dan was trying, and failing to climb a tree. We were laughing at him, (he was blushing lightly from embarrassment), until Jacki decided to change the subject to me. Joy.

"So, guys, guess what happened with me and Ali?" She asked nonchalantly, looking over all of us.

"We made a pact not to!" Dan yelled out automatically, making me roll my eyes and punch his shoulder.

Jacki made a disgusted face. "I'm straight, idiot." She rolled her face and moved to she was sitting on the branch. "We made a bet." Her grin made Mark suspicious, and he squinted his eyes as he looked at her.

"What does this bet entitle? If it includes any of us I swear-" Jacki cut him off as she jumped down from the tree.

"It includes her and shy girl Zoe." Jacki smirked when she saw me glaring at her.

Dan and Mark rolled their eyes, and Mark leaned against the tree.

"Boring, that's all you ever talk about!" Mark claimed, picking at the bark of the tree.

Jacki sighed dramatically, brushing the hair from her eyes. "I haven't told you about this yet!" She defended. "Ali over here has thirty-one hours to get Zo in her bed, or she has to start properly dating!" Jacki still looked excited over this, even though the news was very old to her.

Mark closed his eyes and yawned. "Bo-ring," He claimed, disinterested.

Dan however, grinned and looked at me. "Well then, there's a chance our Darling Ali has a chance of settling down." Yet again,  I punched his shoulder, harder this time. Choosing to say things like that, while sitting next to me, was a bad idea. He yelped and glared at me.

"There is no chance, she will fall for me." I flipped all of them off, leaning back in the swing. They all scoffed and looked at each other. I got up and grabbed my bag from the base of the tree. "Later, I'm going to go get some sleep."

Jacki held up her watch, smirking.

"Thirty-one hours and counting."

Okay, almost time for school. Great, good, awesome! I was dressed in a dress with a black skirt that flared out at the waist, and went down to my knees. It had a white top to it, and I word white flats with it. Not gonna lie, I liked the outfit, but I found it more comfortable in my normal clothes. Oh well.

I put on a light amount of make up, smiling at my reflection. This was another step I never made to improve my appearance. I curled my hair and pinned it up on the sides.

After doing a last once over on myself, then grabbed my backpack and went off.

Once I got to school, Julia took my backpack, and gave me a small peptalk. I nodded through most of it, ignoring her. At the end of it, she hugged me and grinned.

"You look amazing. Go get her, Zo." With that, she walked away, smiling. A smile was left on my face as I walked to Aliyah's usual spot.

The closer I got, the more sweaty my palms got. I felt my breathing quickening, and I had to take a deep breath. It felt like forever, but I finally got over to where Aliyah and her gang where sitting. Frankly, they intimidated me. The twins, Mark and Dan, were both tall, with broad shoulders, and piercing eyes. Her best friend had blue hair and looked like she would snap me in half. Aliyah was insanely gorgeous, though.

I smiled when I walked over to her, and she smirked when she saw me. My knees went weak, but I stood my ground, determined to get at least a date with her. I looked up at her perfect features, covered in a layer of thick makeup.

"Well, hello, my little Zoe," She greeted, lightly tapping my nose.

I swear, my heart skipped a beat.

"H-Hi, Aliyah!" I felt my cheeks burn as the words quickly flew out my mouth. A light chuckle came from her as she leaned against the wall. Her friends watched interestedly, which made me uncomfortable. I cleared my throat and glanced at the floor before looking back up at her.

"Do you want to maybe go on a- a um- one of those- things were- um-" What a great time for my brain to shut down! Great!

Aliyah smirked straightening up to her full height. "Perhaps the word you're looking for is date?"

I nodded quickly, flushing. She smiled and nodded.

"I would absolutely love that, here's my address, come over at seven," She said, writing and then handing me a paper I assume had her address. My eyes widened as I accepted the paper. I was unable to move or speak. The girl of my dreams wants to go on a date with me. Holy shoot.

I watched her walk away with her friends. My mind went blank, and I clutched the paper tightly. Once they were out of sight, I ran back to Julia, who was waiting at my locker. I couldn't get the words out, but she clearly understood what I was trying to say.

Julia started jumping up and down, freaking out. I was laughing, and smiling widely.

The girl of my dreams wants to go on a date with me.

The rest of the day went by in a blur, and soon enough Julia was helping me get ready.

I watched Zoe walk over, looking as gorgeous as ever in the black and white dress. In the end of our short conversation, I gave her my address and phone number. All I had to do now was sleep with her and get Jacki off my back.

Things are going good.

I smirked condescendingly at Jacki, I was winning the bet so far! She stuck her tongue out at me, trying to look as confident as me. I rolled my eyes, flicking her in the nose.

"Trust me, I'm winning this," I stated confidently, walking to my next class.

The day dragged on slowly, as if it was reminding me that every hour spent here was an hour wasted. After seven loooong hours, the day was finally done and I was back home, preparing for Zoe to come over.

By six fourty-five, everything was set up, and I was in a low cut navy blue dress, and by the door, waiting. This'll be easy.

Three hours after school ended, I was at Aliyah's house, knocking on the door. I was a bundle of  nerves, waiting for her to answer. A few seconds later, she opened the door, a goddess in this mortal world. Wow. I stood gaping at her, which made her chuckle as she led me inside. I wasn't even paying attention to what was happening, until we ended up in her bedroom. You get the point. Wow. That's all.

(I decided to put advice, or quotes at the end of each chapter, for fun! The first piece of advice: The fastest way to anyone's heart, woman, man, or other, is through the ribcage. Good luck!
