I woke up, groggy, in an unfamiliar setting. Everything was dark, and I felt a breath of hot air coming from beside me. My eyes widened and I snapped out of my daze when I saw the strawberry blonde hair covering the pillow next to mine. I slowly uncovered the sheets from myself, then put them back on. Realization hit me, and I jumped out of the bed, while tring to put my clothes back on. One word was flying through my mind, over, and over: Fuck. I saw the sheets moving besides me, so I quickly slipped on my shoe, but didn't have time to put on the other one before I ran out of the bedroom. I messed up. I messed up big time.

Right when I was about to run out the door, it opened, and I ran right into it. I fell on my but, and saw Aliyah's brother standing in the doorway. I could admit he was good looking, and I'm a lesbian. He was that attractive.

He looked down at me, then raised his eyebrow.

"Huh, Aliyah's 'dates' don't usually run away in the morning." He put an air quote around date, then sipped a coffee he held in his right hand.

I quickly got up, my face flushed. Not by his looks or the way he spoke, but by what he said.

I got a date with Aliyah Larson.

He looked closer at me, taking another sip of coffee.

"You're Zoe Williams!" He exclaimed in disbelief. "That explains it. She's been chasing after you, ya know."

My pulse quickened at this news. Aliyah has been chasing after me?! I mumble a responce to her brother, then run out of the house, one foot without a shoe.

•Aliyah•

I woke up, expected someone's body next to mine, but only felt warm sheets besides me. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, wondering where Zoe could be. It doesn't really matter, I had already won the bet with Jacki, so she had to leave me a lone! Ha!

I smirked as I got out of bed, picking up my clothes from last night. My smirk grew wider when I saw something on the ground. I bent down to hold it up, then looked at it victoriously. It was Zoe's shoe. I now had proof that I got her here! I put the shoe in my bag, safely tucked away.

After putting everything back in order, I took a quick shower and got dressed, for once not putting effort into my appearance. I got what I wanted at the moment, so I didn't care much to be overly attractive.

I walked out to the living room and saw Jax sipping his coffee and scrolling through his phone.

"That Zoe girl just ran out of here. Looked scared. Thought you should know," He stated nonchalantly, reading a random article. I just nodded and walked off to school, smirking at my recent score.

•Zoe•

I ran back to my house as fast as I could, and showered in a record time of three minutes. I quickly dried my hair and put it into a high ponytail, then got dressed in my usual clothes. Once I was in a red shirt and jean shorts, I ran out of the house with my backpack on to get to school.

Finally, I made it to my locker, and waited for Julia. When she arrived, I was still out of breath and putting my stuff in my locker. She raised her eyebrow and leaned against her locker.

"You okay there, honey? Wait- your date was last night!" Julia squealed, jumping up and down. "What happened?!"

I looked down and blushed, recounting the events of last night. This lead to more squealing, and the people who were early started giving her strange looks. I put my hand over her mouth, and glared at her.

"Be quiet, Jules," I said before taking my hand off of her mouth.

She just grinned and hugged me.

"This is great! Now you can go date her and live happily ever after!" She stated, grinning wider. "And I can be aunt to your adopted children!"

I rolled my eyes, flushing. Julia is insane. "Relax Jules, I still don't know what's going on." I still had some hope that what had happened was meaningful, but I didn't know if it was worth it.

Julia and I started walking together, slowly to our first class. As we walked, I heard Aliyah's unmistakable voice, and with her friend's voice. I stopped to listen, and what I heard made me well up with tears as I quickly walked past them to get to class. Julia ran over to me, flipping off Aliyah and Jacki.

•Aliyah•

I was talking to Jacki, telling her what happened. I was sure everyone was out of the hallways, but who cares if someone was hanging around? I smirked and flicked Jacki's forehead.

"I won," I explained simply, pulling the shoe out from my bag.

"Prove it," She demanded, staring at me. I showed her some pictures of that night, and she grumbled.

"Fine, you won the bet by sleeping with her, and now she is insignificant." I wasn't sure why she felt the need to word it like that, but I guess it was true.

"I mean yea-" I was cut off by a girl running across obviously upset. Zoe? I stopped to watch her, then her friend, Julia ran towards her, flipping Jacki and me off. Jacki did the same to her, and I just watched them leave.

Okay, I'll admit, I did feel slightly guilty.

Slighty.
